and they confirm that Patrick Stewart is Winters

Those smiles just sumed up my feelings regarding this. I don't know what to say? It's cool knowing the vocie cast, but I was kinda hoping it would be made up of pure voice actors. I mean, I'm stoked about Kevin Smith but, Sarah Michelle Gellar? Chris Evans? I don't know what to think here.

looking at the new pics you can really see some of the differences among the turtles. notice how small Mikey is and how big Raph is

Yes I did notice! And they all have different shaped heads as well, so hopefully with time, we can figure out who is who without the bandanas and weapons, or the voices either for that matter!

I cannot wait for this movie. It's been a long time coming!

Except for the fact that they keep getting me more and more excited for March 23 and time isn't passing nearly fast enough!

With Patrick Stewart in the cast, could this bring in a huge fan base to the movie who loved him in X-Men and Star Trek?

And also, Kevin Smith and Sarah Michelled Gellar have a huge cult following as well. TMNT might, (I said might here) be a surprise blockbuster for 2007.

also, he's right about eyes, there each shapped diffrentley. Raph's are more beady than the others.

it reminds me of the first film. his eyes make him look borderline sadistic. you can see the anger just in the shape of his eyes

kevin smith is pretty cool, prof. x is a good fit too, but it will be just weird to hear april with the voice of SMG, i mean i dont have anything against her, its just not april to me, as for casey, i don't really have a problem with who they picked for him

you can see April in the corner of that group image as well. It looks like they are at a temple or something. With Splinter there I wonder if that means he's going to be in the battle, kicking some ass alongside the boys

Don't you just love it when professionals refer to turtles as amphibians like they did here? I guess if the reporter doesn't mind making himself or herself sound foolish, I shouldm't care either. ^_^
I think. It's certainly gaining momentum to become just that. But, it's almost like old-skool fans of TMNT don't even acknowledge the recent toons. That seems odd to me.

Most of the oldschool fans who watched the old toon that I ask about the new toon don't like it due to it not actually being the oldschool cartoon reborn.

The "C0W4BUHNGAH!!!1" fans very much outweigh the "OMG LEO KILLED T3H SHREDDAR WIT DEECAPINASHIN!!!!111" fans.

Holy - wow... look how built Raph is, especially compared to Mikey. Sweet. His plastron is even a little convex on the sides, which makes him look even bigger. Too bad you can't see Don very well. And :tlove: fuzzy Splinter. Now I'm REALLY hoping he kicks butt.

Too bad I don't watch Buffy... and didn't see Fantastic Four... or I might know what those voices sound like. I might hit up Google video in a sec to see (would try Youtube, but it's been blocked on my network).

This looks like a movie that knows how to treat it's fans right, unlike Transformers.

Good to finally have a good look at Karai. I think she's pretty, a little too skinny though (at least she's not as skinny as Mirage from the Incredibles...my goodness that woman really did look like a twig!).

Looks like you can also tell them apart by the top part of their plastrons... Turtle Cleavage. Leo's is is kinda sharp, while Donny's is a little softer looking.

To Karai. Her waist is just so... unnatural. :|

But yeah, there's also something "buggish" in the appearance of the Foot Clan. They look like ants to me.

Am I the only person NOT bothered by Karai? It's a style, not a representation of real life. And this isn't the first animation project to use such a style. Anyone ever watch anime? :dead:

Well Raph appears to be closer than the rest, so he should look bigger. I'm sure there is still a size difference but I don't think it's as large as some people think.

Other than Patrick Stewart, I don't really care for the other people.

This movie looks great, but the human character design is just horrible. They look more and more out of place in the movie. TMNT look dead serious, but the women has a bit of a... Bratz look to them... *shivers* Karai looks like the weight of her head will cause her to bend backward and snap her body in half.

Also, about the size of Raph... I think he's actually a bit closer to the screen than Mikey. Still there's no denying that he is bulkier than Mikey, but this picture makes it more obvious partly because Raph is closer. At least that's what it looks like. I could be wrong though. Kind of hard to tell.

I imagine they're all close to the same size, yes. I'm just looking at the shape of the shoulders and arms - Raph has some serious traps, while Mikey has much less. Raph has a thicker neck, too, relative to the size of his head.

You know, I noticed something. While the TMNT and Splnter look rather good, Karai seems to have been lifted from one of those Barbie-CGI-movies. I understand that they need to save money wherever they can, but such an imbalanced look on the main cast? I doubt that's a very good idea.

And why on earth is her waist only about 2 inches in diameter? That's just insane.

Casey-doll and April-doll, ugh. I wish this movie had no human characters at all. Because, by contrast, the TMNT look pretty cool.

It's not that we are obliged to like this style. We're free to criticise it.

i'm not complaining! i kinda dig it, and also look! the foot soldiers are wearing Y-fronts!!!!
