Dominos or Pizza Hut or what?

What was the NINJA TURTLES official sponsor for pizza? Cause in 1 before the movie starts there is a commerial for PIZZA HUT and in the movie the guy from Dominos goes and delivers the pizza to mikey. Which is it?

Kameko 01-16-2003 04:19 PM

Pizza Hut. :)

azure turtle 01-16-2003 09:03 PM

Yeah, I'd go with Pizza Hut too. They're the ones who sponsored the COOTS tour.

Nickokapo 01-17-2003 01:04 PM

Fools!I only eat at ninja pizza, home of the nice slice! ;)
...
As for the sponsors...in the movie it was dominos (AND PEPSI!NOT MOUNTAIN DEW LIKE SOME MIGHT LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE! :D ) but in the coots tour and the nes games it was pizza hut.

TigerClaw 01-18-2003 08:54 PM

I remembered on the NES TMNT 2: The Arcade Game, Pizza Hut was a sponsor cause there was a level where you would see a poster board with the Pizza Hut Logo on it.

Karpo_007 01-18-2003 08:56 PM

In arcade versions those posters say something like "Traptech"... :D

Stone Ill 01-18-2003 09:51 PM

Traptech is the best place for robotic-pizza! :P

There were quite a few levels, actually.

PWDESAI 01-19-2003 10:04 AM

yea actuallly dominos got it b4 and then to make up for missing out on the tmnt movie pizza hut made a commercial for the first release of the movie on vhs and it was like a kid playing baseball or something and he catches the ball and they go to pizza hut. :P

Psycrow 01-20-2003 08:39 PM

Hm... the Pizza delivery man in the first TMNT movie is from Dominos remember...

HorseTechie 01-21-2003 11:51 AM

Yes! It was Dominos! This burns vivd in my mind still, since I had sworn allegiance to Pizza Hut then. It really confused me that they used Dominoes, cause Pizza Hut was the pizza of choice. *lol*

But Pizza Hut got their revenge, when COOTS come out sponsorsing them.

Now.. none of this matters to me since I defected from Pizza Hut to be a true believer of Papa Johns. :P

Nickokapo 01-21-2003 12:37 PM

It's rumored that the guy that delivers the pizza is mikey without his mikey suit :anime:

Yuppers, that's him, Michelan Sisti ! The other turtle's actors have little appearances too. I have a list of that stuff that I figured out by reading and rereading and rereading and rereading the credits at the end of the movies. :dead: It was worth it, though. Anyways, when I find it, I'll put it up on my website, and post it here, too.

BTW -- Ernie Reyes, Jr. not only played Keno in The Secret of the Ooze. He was also the dude in the Donatello suit in the first movie. :D

Nope Domino's is the best! Of course, I may be saying that just because their name is on my paycheck...

Mind sharing them all? :D

I think I may be wrong, but the ones I know are :-

The Pizza guy is Michaelangelo

The guy in the back of the taxi is Raphael.

I may be wrong, hey it's late and I'm eating sugar free jello

You are correct, sir! I think.

I think Donnie is on of the foot soldiers that attack April in the subway and Leo's one of the guys that mugged April in the beginning of the movie.

"122..... 122... and an eighth? 122 & and a eighth.... terrific, where the heck in 122 and an eighth?" "You're standing on it dude!"

Prowl 01-22-2003 09:37 AM

Dominos was the sponser for the film, but there were some disputes because they didn't realize that they were going to be portrayed as being late in the movie, so there were some issues, after which Pizza Hut jumped in for the Video Release.

Nickokapo 01-22-2003 12:20 PM

 There were disputes because they were going to be late in the movie?
Oh well, millions and millions of people watched the movie i guess it does matters to them.
As for the video release, are you talking about the movie release or the coots release? (i'm guessing the coots but i might be wrong)

Prowl 01-22-2003 12:47 PM

Yeah, but you know how companies overreact to their portrayals. I remember the first sign that pizza hutt was in was the ad on the home video release. The good ol' baseball song we all remember and associate with TMNT :)

Nickokapo 01-22-2003 12:56 PM

:D Well in the dvd version the sponsor was domino's pizza so the pizza hut thing must've only been in the vhs release..

Deathknight 01-22-2003 02:54 PM

mmmm pizza. Although I hate most pizza chains, but I like Pizza Hut over Domino's anyday. Too bad they don't deliver in my town.

Ahhh...that dude who delivers to the sewer grate is the guy who plays Mikey? Cool!

Growing up, we always ate at Pizza Hut. Our school did the Book-It program. and we'd get our special pan pizzas. Then when we were done, we went to the counter and got our next star for the pin. Ha ha...I must have like three of those pins.

Dominos has never been bad, but I have always preferred Little Caesar's Pizza best! They make the best pizza in my opinion. Too bad they don't have many where I live now. Oh well.

I don't like most pizza chains cause they tend to use the cheapest stuff possible to make the pizza and still charge high prices and it usually doesn't taste all that great that way. And I have no idea why Pizza Hut doesn't deliver in my town, maybe they're just lazy. :)

Stone Ill 01-22-2003 09:55 PM

3 for 1 is pretty good.
