Is the >> DVD actually out?
 

Today totally sucked. I searched 5 different Wal*Marts, 2 Hastings, and Best Buy to see if I could find it...nada. One Hastings said they had it in store...but I couldn't find hide nor hair of it...I may have to go back tomorrow and actually ask for some help finding it.

Anyone else have such luck?

Still waiting to get it in the mail (it shipped last Monday for crying out loud). :P

I'm really gonna have to man up and ask and not be afraid of the reaction of the staff at Hastings.

Picked mine up this morning at my local Best Buy, along with Eddie Murphy Delirious (his best and most vulgar stand-up ever.) They had six copies of TMNT: FF.

My Best Buy almost always seems to leave the TMNT 2k3 DVDs in the back room. I went there yesterday and had to ask for it again before getting a copy, and he placed the rest of them on the shelf.

It's nice that they've improved the cover art a bit, and that they're finally including the episode numbers in the titles list. :)

I looked for it at my local Wal-Mart Supercenter yesterday, couldn't find it, then grew a brain-cell or two when I got home, and checked their website. Needless to say, I was NOT (and STILL am not!) a happy camper when I saw that THEY, the ninnies, won't be getting it, either online, OR in their stores, til February 19th! WTH?! Everybody ELSE got it yesterday, and WAL-MART doesn't get it for TWO WEEKS?! What the heck's up with THAT, anyway?!

Grrrrrr, I was looking forward to getting this for my birthday Friday (the 9th), and NOW I'm gonna hafta WAIT?! To quote Raph, "Great. Just great!"

Thinking about it... I'm curious to see if they'll actually carry it around here. I mean, they don't carry 2K3, and haven't since the beginning, almost. Not gonna buy it, but I am gonna go see if they actually have it in stock.

I picked mine up from Target yesterday morning, it was $9.99.

Considering it isn't a big blockbuster movie that did poorly when in theaters, it doesn't surprise me ONE bit. I mean, if it was, they'd have more copies at one location than people willing to buy it. I can remember the 3 rows of shelving at a Best buy with Stuart Little 2 DVD's... it still haunts my memories. NO ONE liked that movie.

Your best bet is waiting a week or two. Then they'll have it.

I scored mine at Target last night. It was the last one they had.

Also they had a special 2 pack of the 90's cartoon...volumes 2 and 3 for $14.99 so I picked that up too.

Actually, I'm talking at ANY store around here that sells DVDs. We're turtle dvd deprived here. They just don't carry it.

It has the Trailer for TMNT on it....making the purchase of a lack luster series a bit better...

I have seen the DVD at Best Buy. There is also a Fast Forward Double Shot DVD around as well.

Sounds like this may be worth looking into. the TMNT film trailer.... but then again, I might wind up getting it AFTER the movie is released.

BTW, when was this 5-disk season four (90's) set announced?

If mean the time it first was announced for release, not sure (but knew of it a good month ago, at least). But, if mean the release date, that's March 13th.

And I'm more than a bit envious. Our stupid Wal-Mart won't get it in til Feb. 19th. WHY they have to lag behind everyone else, I don't know, but they do. I just wish they'd get a Target, Best Buy, or SOMETHING here in West Plains so our Wal-Mart would have some decent competition. I know they were SUPPOSED to get a Target in here years ago, but nothing's happened in THAT direction yet. Drat it.:x

And is it me or does the the animation or something look slightly better on the dvd...I dont know theres something differnt about it.

I wanna say that the episodes seem to have some extra bits to...but I may just be full of it.

Wolfie, I'm from cabot, but comute to Conway for school...it's only about 35 miles one way.

You know... I just came across 10 bucks in the last few minutes... unfortunately, I was already at Best Buy and the dang thing wasn't there. I tried looking at the baby videos section, the Anime section and the Children's section... why I took that one last, you ask? Half the time they are there for absolutely no good reason.

no I agree and the end credits I believe is new also.

The end credits are just smooshed by 4kids TV. They have been there...just not visible.

I went back to Best buy that very same day I said they had nothing... and guess what. In between the time I left and the time I came back, they had an entire half a shelf with FF sets on it. I was gonna buy it, but I thought... well, I'd rather get the Old School edition volume 5 instead. Usagi Yojimbo and Casey Jones beat Cody and Biggles anyday.

I got my copy this past Sunday at Target for $9.99<---no sales tax. I love Oregon. ;)

well i figured, and i was being sarcastic too, but i guess the only reason to buy something u hate is if u want the turtles to keep going, and i don't think its so much of hating it, its just the fact that its no where near as good as it was
