Stupid question but I was wondering if other people liked slowhand too.

I like Eric Clapton. Especially "in my father's eyes". I'm thinking of using that for a fanfic.

what's slowhand?

Oh, me, too. The name was familiar, but it didn't ring a bell until you mentioned that song.

I've been told thats one of his nicknames because of the style he plays.

cool... I also like the song "if i saw you in heaven". Its beautiful

"Wonderful Tonight" is also a pretty one.

Banshee thats my favorite Eric Clapton song. Also, I like the traditional " Who shot the sheriff". He a good performer.

He and Stevie Ray Vaughan are my favs on guitar.

I can't forget about Jimi Hendrix either.

*Phazes in all star tekkie style*

Greetings *Does vulcan salute*

My dad is a big fan of ol' slowhand, so I grew up listening to his music. Also Billy Joel and the Doors.

*Hits communicator on chest*
One to beam up.

I LOVE Billy Joel!! I own his Storm Front CD.

 I used too have that one too, Manchias. I dunno what happened to it now. Oh well, I'm more into classic U2, Queen and stuff like that anywayz.

Queen rocks *plays bass part to another one bites the dust*

Ted Nugent is great! Jimi Hendrix is nothing compare to the guiturist in SLIPKNOT.

No fair! I want that one! I have all his cds until my ex stole them off me!

If i knew how to copy it and send it to you, i would. maybe someone does know how, then they could tell me...

Eric Clapton is too old now. He is like Neil Diamond, he was good back in the 70's, but still is playing at like 60 and sucks.

Speed you must have little taste in music.

Woah... This is a very old thread. In fact, it was first posted a couple of days after I joined these forums. :embarass:

I like Eric Clapton marinated, cooked slow, and served with mashed potatoes. :P

Uhhhh.............. Eric Clapton sang "who shot the sheriff"?

What are some other songs he's sung?

Tears in Heaven. :anime:

~"Layla". And I don't mean the slow version that sounds like he's coming down off his last fix. The original.
Also "Bell Bottom Blues', "Sunshine of Your Love", "White Room", "Have You Ever Loved A Woman".... gah...don't get me started....
