kickin mutie slugfest
You know whud be cool?? If the tmnt had a crossover battle with four (or maybe a few more?) members of the xmen.
im thinking this should happen comic-style.. with the mirage tmnt against the comic x-men (probably 4 to 8 of them). another possibility is the new peter david tmnt vs the ultimate xmen!!! we could try the new cartoon tmnt vs. the xmen:evolution cast... but lets be honest, the turtles would tear them apart!! what do u guys think?? |
The TMNT probably won't have a cross over with such a mainstream companies like Marvel. But who knows, it could be cool.
|
hmmmm
which four to eight x-men do you think the turtles should fight??
|
Raphael vs. Wolwerine seems natural.
|
yeah...
and who else??
|
Donatello vs Prof. X
|
hmmmm
i dont think that would work out.......
splinter vs. prof x would prolly be better.......... a battle of the psyches! mwhahahaha!!!! |
The only mainstream superhero I'd like to see the TMNT have a crossover with is the Hulk. The original anger management, green giant Hulk. It would be awesome to see the five green guys go at it and/or work together. This would be so much better than that lame ass would be Hulk the Savage Dragon, who the TMNT have met in the past. What a boring character he is/was.
I wouldn't want them to meet the X-Men because I think the X-Men work best in a universe all their own. They are supposed to be humans who have acquired unusual talents through evolutionary processes. They are not supposed to be superheros who have powers because of an accident like Spiderman, or science fiction marvels like the TMNT. It cheapens the uniqueness of the X-Men in their comic world to have superheros, robots, aliens, and time travelers everywhere. That book is supposed to focus on the struggles between mutants and humans. |
Ok, then Donatello vs Juggernaut
|
hmmm
I think Donny vs Beast would be more appropriate......
Juggernaut aint an x-man. btw, the x-men have aliens and such in their comics ALL the time!! |
Give me a break, I haven't read X-Men since I was in 6th grade! :D
Leonardo vs Cyclops |
hmmmm
nice......
Mikey vs. Gambit?? |

I'd like to see Spidey vs. TMNT. Ninja skills or no ninja skills, there's no getting around Spidey sense. And remember, Spidey's such a badass that he defeated an earlier version of the X-men by himself. Daredevil vs. TMNT would also be interesting, since they're practically siblings.
Raph vs. Wolvie would obviously end in Raph's death. Sorry guys, but Wolvie has all of the same ninja training (and endless experience), not to mention his skeleton, a meaner temper, claws that would shred (heh) any weapon the Turtles could throw at him, that mighty healing factor, and increased senses. Hell, I'd almost say that Wolvie would kick all of the Turtles asses. Those are his favorite kinda odds. NINJA SNIKT! |
Ooh... Interesting matches proposed! 'Specially liked the Rogue VS Irma idea. How about these odd match-ups?
Leonardo VS Psylocke Raphael VS Arch-Angel Donatello VS Storm Michelangelo VS Colossus |
Casey Jones vs.Crimson Commando
Raph vs. Omega Red Mikey vs. Toad Leo vs.Sabretooth Don vs. The Blob How are those for odd matches :P |
Hey, Don VS the Blob would be fun to see. "Nothing can move the Blob!"

Crimson Commando is a cyborg found by mystique,he's a bounty hunter and has a cannon for a right arm.

Re: ho hummm
Debating Spidey-senses reaction to being blinded is kinda iffy all-around, especially considering that it would rely on the Turtles being able to blind Spidey. If he's at the top of his game, no matter what they throw at him, he's going to sense it and react to it in time to save himself. Now whether or not his reflexes are perfect are where it gets really iffy. It would be a great battle. I'll say this: Spidey has the superior physical prowess and has experiences taking out whole groups of heroes.
Now if we're talking Ultimate Spidey... no match. Turtles win. Quote:

What, you think he's never taken on ninjas before? Simple, average (in the sense of power) ninjas? They're his lightwork. Quote:
What are they gonna do (assuming they could outpace him)? Gouge his eyes out? He can still rely on his other senses! And the eyes will be good as new within minutes. Slit his throat? It heals. Remove his appendages? They aren't quite removeable. Drop him in a convenient vat of acid? There's a chance that wouldn't kill him. Quote:
Of course, all of this relies on the Turtles not being sensed long before they get close to Wolverine. Sorry, but there's few truths in life, and one of them is that Wolverine can kick just about anyone's ass. I'd bet money on Wolvie making Superman bleed. Quote:

Well... maybe not Ray Park's Toad... nah, nevermind. |
I wonder how much Mirage you have read to make such comments about the TMNT...

Ah, stick your indie cred up your...
|
LOL  He hasn't read any and he claims to know anything about the TMNT? And likes comics but says "Ah, stick your indie cred up your..."
Where do we get these kids? |
Wow, the best retort you have is a condescending emoticon? Good grief. I never thought I'd meet a whole community of frigging Ninja Turtles elitists.
|
Resort? Truly when you say something like that, what else I could do? You seem to be a comic fan and then say something like that... You are speaking of thinhs you know nothing about. I think you need your daily dose of Pokemon. Don't worry, it's not indie crap!
|
And what exactly is your point, Mr. More-Indie-Than-Thou?
Being a comics fan doesn't meant that I take some indie ******** version of the Turtles, which a minority of the comics community (much less the world) even think MATTERS, seriously. Nor do I have to acknowledged this uppity, deluded bunch of whiny fanbitched who continue to demean what was a happy center to most of our childhoods. But I'm willing to put aside those opinions and go with what I have. What have you got but snickering condescension? Say something worthwhile. |
With out the indie "sh**" there would not be the goofy cartoon you seem to love. I think you should go grow up, and then try to have a real conversation.
|
If you want to call having the same conversation you've had online for years interesting, then by all means, continue.
I've been reading this board (and similar ones) for a while now and have come to a conclusion. It's very simple. You don't matter. Your opinions don't matter, because no one remembers your version of these characters. Source or no source, they still won't matter. Your arguments don't matter, because a majority of you present them with such disrespect for what the rest of us cherish, those "goofy cartoons." Your comic doesn't matter. It never did. It will never matter. Even if the new TV series is a carbon copy of the comics, no one is going to go back to those books. If the show's a big hit, Time isn't going to do a big cover story given credit to Laird/Eastman and condemning the original cartoon. Decades from now, the Turtles are not going to be mentioned in the comics hall of fame. Why? Because, other than being source material for some of the greatest kids entertainment in history, these were overall LUKEWARM COMICS. Other than the satirical value of the first issue, they are relevant only to those that loved the real turtles... oh and a few whiny, elitist wankers. THEY DON'T MATTER. Pokemon matters. At least it has a place in history. This **** doesn't. Now do you have anything to add on the topic? Dare you debate the sex appeal of Wolverine/Hugh Jackman? Come on, bring it! |
Wow that's pretty gay. I mean, I wouldn't be talking about the sex appeal of Wolverine. Yeah, I stick to my opinion if that being pretty damn gay.
