I just saw the protoypes in tomart's new mag that was released today. Casey will come w/ sport weapons and a removeable mask and he has a pissed off face under his mask, April who is in the same stance and facial expression as you saw in the character designs and she comes w/ two mousers, Hun :x is a huge badass figure and he is really big! They also showed what the nanotech monster will look like in the new cartoon and he is a machine w/ many scream looking like faces that rotate on his face. It also showed what the foot razor jet will look like, and it said the 3rd wave will have the extreme sport turtles( which will probably look like they do in the intro) the nanotech monster, and the foot tech ninja which said are supposed to turn invisible. Hun, Casey, and April all looked great even w/o their paint these will be great figures.

we should probablt expect oroku saki and baxter stockman next season

Take a picture (a JPEG or GIF for example), upload it to either yours or a friend's web space, and use the [img][/img] tags (with the URL of the picture within them).

Oh man... That sounds awesome. Can't believe the next line of figs is already looming over the horizon. :embarass:

SWEET! Does he have a golf bag to hold them in, or did they not have that in the picture? It's cool that his mask is removeable though, that's a nice touch.

The 3rd wave sounds awesome, as does the 2nd one. Can't wait for 'em to come out.

They sound to be great figures. Did it look like they had the same articulation as the current figures? Ball jointed shoulders & hips, swivel wrists, elbows & necks?

Well thats good to hear. The articulation for the new line is really good, I'd hate to see 'em change it mid-way through or something.

Wow, that'll be a interesting figure then. I looked at the drawing of Hun from the show on ninjaturtles.com, & he IS a monster of a man. Would not like to tick him off.

OH, okay. Sounds cool, hovercrafts are always fun. Did it look like the flying kind of hovercraft, or the zoom-around-on-water kind?

Yeah, I plan on doing that on Friday when I get to the mall. Hopefully they'll still have some copies.

Today I went up to Borders and seen the pics in Tomart. April has more of a wide stance so that she stands better I guess, the articulation on her..was alright I guess. The sculpt was pretty nice though it would of been nice to see some paint on those things...lol..going on.. Casey looked pretty cool, he looks like he's going to have the ability to do the splits very much like how Shredders articulation is. Although again no paint and I do wish for them to have shown his bag and weapons...ohhh...well..His stance is more like just standing there, similar to the original figure from back in the day..The Hun figure looks be pretty massive...not very tall I'm thinking, more or less wide/thick..lol.. Oh yeah for April they didn't show prototypes of the mousers...just said it in the article that she came with them... the nanotech machine was just a picture...no prototype nothing...just a picture like from the new show.. they should everything else that is already out. Oh and it said that the new sewer lair will be 3' in length!!!

Yes, I'm very interested in the Casey figure! Sound's like Playmates are going with the basic characters right now! Great! :) (Now if they only make a human Baxter figure..... :D )

have the mousers always looked the same? (need to buy mirage back issues.) will they look the same as they did in the cartoon?

I think it's genious that they'd put mousers with April. Either that or they'd shortpackage her,and I'd rather have mousers than have a hard time finding April! :D
The mousers should be to scale,unlike the single packaged vintage one.

Ya, I'm glad they're putting the Mousers with April. Her accessories will be much better than the older April figs. :)

Yeah, it is a kick-ass idea. Now all they need to do is give Baxter Stockman 2 Mousers, & make a Mouser 3-or-4 pack & we can load up on the little buggers.

Oh, & they better have spring-powered snappin' jaws- it's just a given for the little buggers.

::nods:: Very true. I hope this new figure can actually hold here accesories though unlike the old figure which couldn't that well.

Hopefully they'll have Tomart's at the comic store I'm hitting today, provided the snow lets up.

That'd rock & would make sense as they could "bite" the turtle figures, or any other figure they could fit their little metal jaws around.

Snail, that's pretty damn cool, but I don't like the greenish skin that he has. Where is that pciture from? Did you customize it yourself?

Neither do I. It makes it hard to tell if he's waring, or not waring pants. :o But it is pretty damn cool looking none the less. :D

It's from the "TMNT Supermutants" sub-line of figures that came out in 94'. I think the molds were imported from a Japanese TMNT figureline called "Super Mutations" or something to that effect. They made Supermutant Raph, Leo, Mike, Don, Splinter, Shredder, Bebop & Rocksteady in the toyline & stopped after that. Go to ninjaturtles.com & check the 1994 section in "Toys". There should be listings for Supermutant figures.

After seeing the figures there I was wondering if these figures could play with the newer TMNT figures & not really feel out of place due to size or a very cartoonish appearence. The Rocksteady figure litterally looks like he's just waiting to rip the turtles several new ones. I'd buy the figure if I knew where to get it & if I knew how tall it was & what it's articulation is like. I'm guessing the same as the newer figures, except that it's elbows bend instead of swivel.

Oh, here's what Bebop looks like, it's a little blurry as he's MOC but I think you can make him out:

Me too. Although I haven't seen Tomart's in the stores yet, so I'm wondering when it's exact release date is. I hope the stores didn't sell out of 'em already, Planet Comics only had 2 copies of issue #98! :o

I know, right? We found about that a few new figures were in the mag, but everytime someone says they are gonna put up pictures they just kinda *pop*- and they never come back. It's like ninjas are takin' them out so they reveal no more secrets until next Sunday. AHHHH! ONE week left until Toy Fair! This time, next sunday all will be revealed- I hope.

I'm not sure what MotU figures Mattel will have on display, but I am alot more excited as to what new TMNT figures/vehicles/playsets we will see.

Well, it might not be all bad. Maybe the Donatello figure will be able to stand up without the aid of a 2nd Bo staff? :-? Or if they have removable sports equipment, we could be getting 4 brand new sculpts of the turtles & that'd be pretty cool.

But yeah, it does seem a bit soon for them, but keep in mind they aren't coming out until like, the summer or something. The old line didn't have those types of figures until 1990 or so- as far as I can remember. Times change, & I guess they have to start with the variants early these days?

Trippy space suit figures would be possiblt, but new Trek figures are probably a no-go. I was under the impression that the only reason there were Star Trek TMNT figures, was because Playmates had the liscense to all Star Trek figures a few years back. Now that liscense has been granted to Art Asylum & that means only they can make Star Trek toys (as far as I know).

They should have a "Peter Laird toy idea" sub-line & just make all of the figure/toy stuff he drew on his "Blast from the Past" website into figures. That'd be awesome, & probably cooler then extreme sports turtles. :D
