Yea, the new cartoon may have been awesome, but im sure that some people's favorites were left out.

Non of the changes anger me. This is how the first TMNT cartoon should have been. I do hate the new theme, though.

i dont like the new april. her character is supposed to be kinda like a "mother" to the turtles. now casey is gonna be a child molester :dead:

not too hip with the new song, but it could be worse.

Huh? Is April going to be 15 or something? I think she's still gonna be in her early 20s, considering she's a lab assistant (something that usually requires a college education, right?)

Yes, she's supposed to be in her early twenties. After seeing the episode 2 preview yesterday, I'd say that she looks like she's past her teen years.

April has never been a mother to the TMNT, more like a big sister, and thats what she will be now acording to her profile...

Actually, in the press release at Mikey'sTMNT.com they said April's age was 23. (Didn't catch Casey's.) Sounds about right for this series. And I agree, April's always been more of a big sister than mother.

No Beebop or rocksteady :o

Everything was good except for that theme song.

I kinda miss the Technodrome, but not too much.

I thought the show was great! Wasn't angered by anything in it. But hey, how can you be mad theres no Beebop and Rocksteady....the turtles have fantasized of them being gone since before that "We Wish You a Turtle Christmas" special! Need I quote? I think I need...."Deck the halls with peperoni....No Beebop and no Rocksteady!"

The only thing that isn't as good in the new show is the style and the dialogue (nothing beat old TMNT for good one liners). Other than that it's all good!

Sorta miss the technodrome & b&r but not really. The only thing that realllyyy bugs me about the new shows, is that they went and put the color of the turtles on there weapons! Making them different from the new figures.

We finaly get painted stuff but its different from the show, it reakky erks me for some reason. I do like the colors on the show though, I think its trippy but still... :goofygri:

I do miss Bebop & Rocksteady. But its a new show and there's nothing i can really do about it. I do worry about the fact that they will be lost and never show up again that would be upsetting. I ESPECIALLY Miss the Old Theme the most i mean all the new cartoon songs today SUCK. People should watch any 80 show and take some notes.

I really hope they have some cool mutants on the show. They should defintly have that.

Of course I'm going to Miss Slash :cry: and the other mutants but I mite learn to cope and the new theme sucks royally

Ah who knows, I bet they will make references to Krang, bebop, and rocksteady...you watch....but that is true though, 80's cartoon themes RULE! Lets not stray to far from the subject though...hehe

The new show is perfect just the way it is!! (in my humble opinion)

I like everything so far. It's more real to me.

Personally, I think that they tried to get a sleeker more modern look and made the colors to dark. The old cartoon was so much brighter and happier. The same thing happens with NFL games on FOX, and I get depressed, and i like watching ones on CBS better. Anyways, Its hard to get depressed when watching the turtles, so im not too mad

Not so much changes, but disappointments.
My major ones would be crappy backgrounds, with an even crappier theme song. Those are my major two.

At least they didnt have a Japanese studio make a sweet kick ass intro with art way better than the actual show(Like what happened with Savage Dragon season 2 on USA Network)

CRAPPY BACKGROUND??? :lol: ur kidding, right? we've all been wanting a darker background along with the comical and gritty humor of the old series... IT'S PERFECT!!! :tthumbsu:

The only major problem I have with the new show are the compromises what were done to Mike's character. I also think Raph's character is just a little over the top in the 'rage' area.

Other then that, the show is flawless, in my opinion.

I like the backgrounds. Yeah, they're simplistic and not too detailed, but I think that's good. It won't distract from the real action.

Yes, the style looks just right. And the way the turtles use the roofs... Just like in Mirage. And yes, Mike and Raphs personalities have been altered, but I don't have a problem with that. They work very good in the show.

Raph is just awesome in the new show... not that I'm biased or anything...

Altered from what? Mirage? Well Raph's is very accurate to his Mirage self. Mike is definetely a little bit more of a wiseass in the new series. So far though I think he's been pretty funny: "This room, mine! And where you're standing over here, also mine!" Donatello on the other hand has been "nerdified" a great deal since the original comics, but again I'm okay with that.

Like heretic said, Raphs character is little exaggerated, but It work for the show. Now it seems that Raph is older than Mike, in Mirage it used to be other way around. But Like I said, it works for the show, and Im happy with it.

Have you noticed that New Cartoon Mike acts just like Old cartoon Raph?

None of the changes bother me. I wouldn't want a simple rehash of the old toon, I'm ready for something new (new to those of us who haven't read the comics).

And what is this obsession with Slash? He wasn't THAT great. Good, yes. Great, no.

It must be because he's an Evil turtle.

It is pretty much new for us comic fans too. It's based on the comics, not a direct adaption.

There's something special about Slash i think that's why everybody likes him. He's a mutant turtle just like the guys but he's evil. He wears a black bandana he's like the 5th turtle. The Evil Turtle.
