OK so this has nothing to do with TMNT but I can finally own a Unicron toy. Its not the BW NEO mold but it looks pretty cool. The price tag is around $60 Ok so planet mode is questionable, but robot mode is sweet, now I just have to break down a buy the star saber

Hrrmm, I read the reason why somewhere, but I forgot what ti was exactly. I guess they weren't ready for the offical realise of it, and such political Hasbro matters like that. :roll:

But hay, I like. And I can only imagine just how difficult he would be to transform!

The offical reason is it was a Toy Fare exclusive. The pics were leaked before the offical release of the Mag, so all the pics were removed, now that the mag is out the picks can be reasleased.
As for his appearece, He has been in one Ep so far, but did nothing really, he'll play a larger role in future eps.

And hell, the guy looks BETTER than the Neo mold. Very G1 accurate, and the RING!

He'll transform?I guess he'll be a car or something...in the movie he was a planet-like thing, i don't see how it could turn into that :P or maybe he can, i have no idea, but it'll probably take 3 hours to transform :roll: reminds me of the rat-trap action figure i had, his robot form was almost unarticulated and so was the animal form, it was pretty useless. :D
Leaked pics eh?Hehehehe...dang, hasbro seems to have a lot of time on their hands, sending cease and desist letters to sites hosting divx episodes/comic scans, and now this...in the end it was probably more publicity for them, yet they waste money in something not worth taking down that will eventually make 2 or 3 more sites with the same content pop up.
Too bad he did nothing in the toon, he's such a cool character :D 's cool that he will do something more in the future eps tho :evilgrin:

Hrmm.. well, from what I did see of the pic, was that Uni did transform into a planet. Complete with saturn like ring.

*takes out screwdrivers* That's when I decided to complete dissamble them and put them back togther. If I have no parts leftover, then it's a true triumph! Bwwwwahhhahaahaa!! :evilgrin:

TFextreme.com was SELLING those episodes to pay their bandwidth. That's ILLEGAL. Hasbro had every right to step in.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh now that i remember reading the forum it said something about tfarchive actually *SELLING* the episodes, it's just that i used the site in the days when the eps were free so i forgot :embarass: in that case i agree with what they did, but not with the comics...unless they were selling the comics scans too o_O

Hum...the minicron pics have 3 languages and one of em is spanish...weird, since in latinamerica they haven't aired armada yet (they're still rerunning RiD)

The more I look at Unicron the more I realise that his Planet mode sucks. Why couldn't they use the Neo prototype, forget tehj minicon ports, the neo just looked better. That and he did look a bit like he uas carring a shell on his back.

Oh well at l;east his bot mode looks Ok. I just wish most of the new bots comeing out were new chacters instead of just being the allready known bots transformed into new bodies.

Oh and raph ya it's kind weird :P i saw the mcdonalds or burgerking (one of the two can't remember ;) ) commercial for latinamerica and in the happy meal thing, they included some transformers ARMADA cards.
Now i was curious about this...they're still rerunning transformers RID yet they already release merchandise?Well not that i have a problem with it or anything, but they usually first bring the show here, THEN the merchandising... :ohwell:

What's wrong with Unicron's planet mode? It has the RING, damnit! And he doesn't have half a planet hanging off his back either, like that OTHER mold. This one trounces the Neo one.

But the reason I brought this back is the alt weapon mode of one of the minis is a shuriken, while Thunderwing may not be my fav. that is one hell of an alt mode

No thats the Armada version, there have been 3 other prototypes but they were never produced, this is the first offical Unicron Toy produced for people to play with. There is also a statue out, but that doesn't count as a toy, but it looks unbearably cool.

Oh yeah... I was visiting a friend over Christmas and she had that Unicron statue. Very cool that one is, indeed!

Woah the planet mode looks so cool...and so does the robot mode, i bet the toy makers got a few headaches while figuring out how to make both modes look cool while being able to transform it, but its such a sweet toy :D i never really got interested in many transformers toys untill this thread was made.

Err...? No, (the original) Wheeljack was the engineer/inventor type. Ratchet was the fix-em up medic. And Perceptor was the scientist. Add them up and you get something like Donatello. :P

And like old toon don Wheeljacks stuff would blow up 9 times out of 10, the old mad scientist.

But really the word is the New Wheeljack is Hot Shots(hotrod if you count all the name mistakes in the show) evil Brother (thus the con sigs on his arms and the scarred bot sig)

Now if they would only make an Armada Ravage, on second thought he'd probly be like Laserbeak

Yep, all made from BW Snappers (raphs in the right color), no clue of the story, I saw the pics a few years back, and have been tring to find them ever since
