This has got to be one of the worst TMNT items I have ever seen! It's so freakin' ugly!

Is this the beginning of the retro line from Hot Topic? It looks like the bandanna is designed OT style.

No clue... I went there looking to see if they had any new shirts, but they don't.

I'm really hoping for an OT April shirt in the retro line, I have one that has her on it from the 80's, looks like it would fit a 4 year old. Splinter got his own shirt from Hot Topic, hopefully April will too.

Odd man out, but I love it! I'm totally going to wear this thing to school once I find one. The sad part is I'm going to have to go into a Hot topic.

Doesn't really look all that bad, actually. I've seen a similar one at Newburry Comics, but it was a Raph. I think the eye holes were a bit narrower.

That looks more like a gammy balaclava than a hat. Its hideous.

The model looks like a bank robber.

Wow... That Hot Topic one is pretty hideous. Thanks for the lovely compliment, lol! Also, i was in this great store called Hootenanny, and they had similar hats with red bandannas...the tags said "Karate Turtle Hat," so clearly they're unlicensed.

I would buy this thing in a second. I went to Hot Topic last weekend but I didn't see it.

This thing is going to be great for my next snow ball fight.

Betcha it's warm. Yeah, I'm a northerner. Couple that with a scarf and I don't care what it looks like, s'long as my nose doesn't frostbite. :p

Hmmm... Karate Turtles... That must have been the one I've seen. It looks slightly similar to the HT version, but much much better in its execution. Those large circular eyes with the black outline ruin the whole thing. Too bad. I'd almost wear one of these (I hate woollen hats...)

Would'a just been easier to make a ski-mask with that concept.

however.. this is the south of Denver..

it's been droppin' some nights to -1 ..

i am not opposed to a beanie/mask that covers my face when i need to keep warm like when shoveling snow ot traveling in the f8ckin' Colorado snow-smush.. >v<

I will give you that it is practical.

I think what makes me hate it so much is the black stitching around the eyes. If only they'd have used green (or red/blue/orange/purple)!

From an aesthetic point of view, yes, that black is horrid. A slate gray might have been alright too. I think you put a fedora over this and a scarf around the mouth and neck, a trenchcoat and it'd be tolerable...aesthetically speaking.
