Who Else Got a Card from Mirage?
 

Well I certainly got a most pleasant surprise in the mail today! Tonight when I got home from work my mother told me I had another card in the mail. So I take it and look at who it's from an lo and behold it's from Mirage!!!

I stare at it a moment and open it up to find the whole crew - even Katie! - signed it!

The cover is SO cool: Peter drew a doorknocker that is in the shape of a Turtle's head with other holiday features.

Now I know others received such a card but I was really caught off guard and felt very honored to get this. I will definitely put it in a safe place to always keep.

Who else got one of these awesome nuggets of joy? :tgrin::tsmile:

Although Eric's sig is missing from mine...

Mines almost exactly like yours rose but my turtles head is smaller (the one peter drew) and Jims name is where the red one is.
Eric is missing from mine also.
It's cool to have almost everyones sig in one place now.

Who's the one at the top left? I'm not sure who's sig is on the bottom right, but I'm assuming that it's Dooney.

Yeah Niner, I came in tonight and my mom told me "Oh you got this in the mail today" and it totally blew me away!!! Oh, and that's Gary Richardson's sig up next to Pete's.

I remember the contest on Murph's blog, but thought it wasn't serious since anyone could click the image and get the answer if they didn't already know.

Katie is the one who addressed it - I know her handwriting quite well since she makes out the envelopes lol!

Give me a few minutes and I'll post my card with Eric's sig too!

Actually Niner, I don't! I'm just a faithful Mirage fan who gave Katie my CC# and asked if she would send me the issues when they came out if I didn't get the chance to order every month so I could have my Turtle fix. The only person from Mirage I've actualy spoken to is Katie every month when I make an order, the others I've only sent a few emails to in the past couple of years.

Maybe it was because last year I ordered about 100 books at one time from them?? I had to catch up on two years' worth of Volume 4 and Tales 2 to get back on schedule, and I've ordered a lot of the other Mirage books from them as well.

Either way it totally made my day when the mail man handed it to me (the mail box had broken earlier that day so I had to keep an eye out for the mail man. )

I don't think Eric signed any of em. I don't have his sig on mine either.

I don't think all of the winners slots were taken up until mid-afternoon, too.

Wow, so far no one else's card but mine had Eric's signature? Cool. Maybe they sent out a couple batches and he was out of the office at the time.

yeah really odd are you sure it's Eric it really doesn't even look like his sig. and was don in a really pressed hard pen...

Heh, it's not as hard-pressed as it looks really. Dan Berger and Gary Richardson's were done in pen too and it's about the same. It's just the way my flash caught the pen's trail. It almost made Katie's seem as if it had disappeared, too!

Wicked, Dan signed his whole name!! Ok, let's keep score here: I've got Eric's sig, and TokKa has Dan's whole name! If someone sneaks in with a Kevin I'll prolly sh!t my pants..if it turned out real! :P

I feel bad. I completely forgot to send cards to Mirage in all the holiday busy-ness. I haven't had much time to be on these boards at all lately.
