Which OT pizza place would you go to?
 

I had in school suspension all day today and got really bored. So I decided to kill some time by writing down all of the pizza joint's from the OT.

I think Vinnie's sounds that most appealing.

p.s. Tell me if I forgot any please.

How could anyone NOT want The Shredder to make their pizza? Weird Pizza FTW! :lol:

I put Posh Pizza.

But in reality, I would say ANY of them.

I have a MAJOR craving for pizza right now. Particularly Papa John's pizza. But I go to the doctor in less than 3 weeks. So no pizza for me (other than the Lean Cuisine ones) till then.

I'm not picky when it comes to pizza, any would sound fine.

Ninja Pizza. Probably would be an interesting atmosphere. Plus whipped cream pizza might be worth a try...just once. That's one of the ones they had there in the first episode, right?

I'd say ninja pizza. I always wanted my pizza to be cut with a katana!

I can't recall any other pizzeria's besides Vinnies. And the Ninja Pizza was just too damn cool, probably the reason its the only one I remember so yeah I'd love to go there.

Most likely Vinnie's. Sounds like the most normal pizzeria in the show and it reminds me of classic Chicago pizzerias that aren't brand names.

Ninja Pizza sounds fun, but I'd probably get killed just walking around the neighborhood.

I wouldn't go alone, but I'd definitely try it once.

I think you forgot some pizza places, like the "Wooden Shoe" in the Netherlands ("April Gets in Dutch").

Actually, if you looked close enough, he wasn't actually making the Pizza. It was Bebop and Rocksteady. And I for one wouldn't want those hands touching my food. Probably don't even wash them.

So I went with Ninja Pizza. That is pretty much the best concept they've had in the entire series. They really should have licensed a chain of real ones.

heh, I think I'm going to jump on the band wagon and say Ninja Pizza. that place was just to damn awsome for words. :D

That, and it's better animated than any of the others.

most of season one was better animated than the rest of the show, with the exception of maybe season seven.

Those two are pretty incompitent, so I'm betting they didn't make them all.
Still, Mikey would be delivering it. Maybe I'd even get a visit from The Rat King! If I remember right, that's the episode where he pops up randomly to steal a pizza. :lol:

that has got to be the most random appearance of a character in the history of random apperances! The Rat Kings apperance just completely came out of left field. It was like April's looking for the phone booth while being followed by Rocksteady and Bebop. Thyen BAM The Rat King shows up! :o WTF

Gotta love that Italian/Japanese music they play at Ninja Pizza.

Well, with Bebop and Rocksteady makin' Pizza, you can surely tell we'd have that "Twirling Pizza dough winds up falling on their heads" joke. But apparently they made them pretty good. Wonder if anyone got sick offa them. or if Shredder threatened them somehow if they didn't wash up.

Isn't sashimi the kind of sushi made with raw fish?

Sashimi is raw fish served in a certain fashion. It is not sushi, which can feature raw or cooked meat.

Didn't Donatello get disgusted that April was eating "Raw Fish" in an earlier scene? I know Raph got the Sashimi, but I thought the Turtles hated raw fish. Guess the writers just wanted a Japanese sounding food.

Oddly enough, (someone put the first episode of TMNT in Japanese on Youtube) in the Japanese dub, they keep the Sashimi reference.

I wouldn't use the original toon as a resource for anything Japanese. ... Or much else for that matter. ^_^

Donatello hated loathed detested sushi in the OT.

Yet in the current profiles, it is listed as one of his favorite foods.

Everyone else's fave foods seem consistent.

Really, I don't rememeber Leonardo ever eating rice, fish, apples, or salad in either toon, unless any of that was included in their chinese takeout in the NT, in which case the others eat that as often as he does. I don't remember Raphael eating cereal any more often than the others either in the toons.

Well the TMNT eat regular food in the new toon, or at least more than just pizza. Hell... have they ever actually EATEN pizza in the show? I've seen empty pizza boxes laying around and references to Mikey and pizza.... but still. I don't remember them actually eating pizza in the new toon.

They eat regular food in the OT as well, every now and then;I don't remember actually seeing them eat pizza in the NT, but there's more than enough evidence they to imply they do, if not onscreen.
Either way, in both toons, each of their diets are all pretty much the same.

^No you're pretty wrong. The only thing the turtles have eaten that wasn't on a pizza was when Mikey ate a reto-mutagen cookie.

That's why I said "every now and then", they've also had popcorn a few times, Raphael ate a banana Donatello renewed with his food-renewal machine, April made them chicken soup in one ep, there may be a few other examples...maybe I should've rephrased it as "once in a while".

If I remember correctly the turtles never actually ate the soup in "The Making of Metalhead"

and I don't remember the renewal thing.

The Turtles are shown eating pizza in various flashback scenes during "The Lesson". And the first food they are shown eating during "Attack of the Mousers" is pizza as well. "Pizza, dude!".

True.. but in the old show it's more like 'ALWAYS eating pizza and hardly ever eating any other food' and the new toon is like 'eating different sorts of food and hardly ever eating pizza'.

I'm sorry, but you really need to include Original Ray's or rather Roy's from Secret of the Ooze in your poll. It's a REAL pizza place and it is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. It's on W.11 st and 6th Ave in NYC. I'm telling you,
it's that New York City Water in that dough that makes the difference!:D
