Art of Jukka

Hello all. New guy here.

Planning on filling this one thread with artworks that I've drawn and or coloured.
Been a long time since I've drawn fan-art of TMNT, so I'll showcase my colours instead.

I have been commissioned to draw couple April O'Neil images, and once I gather enough reference of her from the Screengrab-thread, I'll get drawing those and hopefully will be posting them here for your enjoyment as well.
(They are of sexy/naughty kind, so in case they're too risque for these boards, I'll put them up at Deviant-gallery or somewhere else)

Oh and big holler to my bro Mike Bock! :D

Hmmm. Been a long while.

Maybe I should update this thread with an upcoming commission of April and Turtle-Com. ;)

Sweet pic dude!

Was this meant to be Raph? or is the lightning bolt shape on the front shell a little bit of artistic glare.
Kind looks like the Nick Toon Raph with a chip in his shell.

Either way look really nice

It was always going to be Leonardo.

But yeah I've seen images of the Nick Toon TMNT characters so
thought I'd add a random chip to the chest-shell.

Awesome artwork, Jukka!

Hello Jukka, welcome back, Mike Bock will join us also? check the redesign challenges...

That Copic Markers art you are making now is very cool, your and Axel DB Skeletor is great. Keep working.

The commission I previously mentioned turned out contain some nudity.

So not sure if appropriate to post here. But it's April taking a selfie of herself via mirror. And turtle-com acts as a mobile-phone with camera. :)

New art!

Based on a quick scene in the new 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, I give you April and Vernon. And an ugly fedora hat. :trolleye:

PS. Yes I know the number 6 is not as rounded as it is in the cartoon. I had trouble getting it look right with the perspective, so I made it more angled to get decent results. ;)

Ha! Nice work! Love seeing "Vern" Fenwick with that hat.

It's neat seeing movie scenes rendered in the style of the old toon characters. That actually happened officially with some 1990 movie
adaptations too!
"The Final Lesson" story showed April in her full yellow jumpsuit and Splinter & Shredder in their familiar toon outfits as well:

Also, the Random House coloring book rendered the movie's key scenes in old toon style, specifically with April & Shredder getting their looks changed. Unfortunately, I can't remember the actual book's title. I think Gil Fox illustrated it.
EDIT: Apparently, it was simply "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie."

Very interesting, oldmanwinters!

Oh.

Below a peek of April in pencil-stage at my Instagram.

Thanks for the share!

As a bit of construction criticism, her hand appears a bit too small in proportion to the rest of her body from my point of view. I think, the palm of the hand should be able to almost cover the entirety of her face and forehead. It isn't so noticeable in the full colored piece though.

That's because I noticed that I drew her head a tad big, so for final piece it's been resized to be more proportioned to her body. :)

Thanks for the CC. :tgrin:

Nice catch! I knew something seemed a little "off" about the WIP, but it's good you realized that early.

Thanks to couple fans showing interest in that April & Vernon pic I did based on the 2014 movie, I got couple commissions.

Here's a sketch for something that includes Donatello and April.

The pose on Donatello reminds me of Shredder on the original toy packaging art:

A bit late to answer on this.

But yes. The client who commissioned the piece, had in mind a sequence of transformation for April. I may post other artworks from it, and sketches in this thread. :)
