Favourite Turtle?
 

I'm new to the technodrome and was just wondering what turtles people favoured. Leo used to be my favourite, but then for some reason I now seem to like Don more - I think he is the gentlest and most caring of the turtles. What is your reason for liking your fav turtle?:D

Leonardo. Blue has always been my favorite color and swords have always been my favorite weapon so it worked out pretty good when they first came out. Also I really like his seriousness and dedication to his training and being a good leader.

since this is in the new toon section I'm guessing you are asing what are favorite turtle in the 2k3 series is?

Primarly Michaelangelo is my favorite turtle over all but I have not always been pleased with the way my favorite turtle has been handled in the new series which makes it hard to like certain aspects of him and puts him lower on my list. But I will say I liked him him beter pre-fast forward, rather post Fast Forward. So by default in the 2k3 series Mikey is my favorite turtle (since he has always been my favorite) but probably based on character representation and how well he is written, I'd say Leo is my over-all favorite in the 2k3 series. :)

Leonardo. And I especially like that the new toon focuses so much on him.

They've all been my favourite at one point. Right now I'm a fan of the Don.

For me, it has (and will always) be Raphael. I love all the guys the same, but I'm always drawn back to Raph for some reason.

I know I've made it all too obvious a million times before, but I'm an equal lover of all turtles.

My favorite turtle has always been Mike, but I'm not liking the way he's acting in the new show. The writers are doing a good job of portraying Raph though I think.

Raphael. I thought he always use to look the coolest w/ his color and weapons when watching red sky episodes.

Raph cuz well Im a bit of a hothead too and cuz he's hot IMO *drools* Altho TMNTOS Raph was more of a jokester and I can be one as well when need be. Even collect joke books. *lol*

A friend of mine and I once agreed that the perfect guy would be a Raph/Don personality combo. :D

What about the turtles friends, who do you like best out of them and why? personally, I think April has been there for the guys more than they realise, but I also really like Usagi - I'm not sure why, hes just a really cool honourable rabbit samurai.

I'd have to say, from the new toon... uh... Raph and Don primarily. I'm not as much of a hothead as Raph, but if someone I care about is picked on or hurt by someone for no reason, that's when I go off. And I mean go off! I like Don because he's got this constant desire to learn and he considers himself a techno geek. I also love Mikey because he's such a superhero nut. Like Mike, I enjoy everything Superheroes. Horror movies too. I don't know if Mikey's the book reading type, but I also enjoy horror novels.

Hate to critisize an opinion, but how the shell do you gals like Silver Sentry? He's an uninspired character who is a blatant rip off of the most recognizable comic book character of all time. Not to mention he brings down the realism (what little there is) of the series.

Well he's cool. And who said that a show about 4 mutant turtles, a mutant rat, and space aliens who look like dinosaurs is realistic? It is at least science fiction- if not low fantasy.

I know, but it's just that it's somewhat believable in a sci-fi way because most of the craziness is not seen by the public. I know **** starts gettin wild in season 3 onwards, but in season 1 all the action was either in the sewers, on a rooftop, or in some deserted back alley. Then comes Silver Sentry out of no where, saving the day on infront of everyone and on the news.

Nobody keeps a low profile, which is why I like him so much more... even if he's a blatant rip off of the second most recognizable comic character of all time.

The Justice Force has been in the comics since Vol 1. There's always been other super heroes in the Mirage Universe, like Leo's GF Radical. I don't see anything wrong with it. I like Silver Sentry. Yes he's similar to Superman but he's also got a bit of Martian Manhunter in him (he LOVES cookies :lol:). I just think it's cool.

Also forgot to mention another fave ally of mine, Raptarr. He needs to show up more (yeah I know he's in the JF as of the lost season) He's got a bigger role in the comics than in the toon. Nobody had a big role in the comics too tho till he was killed off in Vol 2.

I still don't like it, plus weren't most volume 1 issues retconed? (Good find about the MM thing tho, can't believe I missed it).

For allies, it would be Usigi...but I love Karai as well (yeah, I know she has tried to kill the turtles!)

Actually Raptarr is an homage to a golden age Marvel hero called Red Raven. There's an Avian race of similar origins to Raptarr's people in Marvel. Like the Avians in TMNT these ones live on an island in the sky (called the Aerie) which floats above the mid-Atlantic. Instead of being slaves to Atlantis tho these Avians were Inhumans and tethered to Attilan.

I can't really pick a favorite turtle because I like them all. But on a whole I identify more with Leo and Don.:)

My favorite turtle is Leonardo. He's very dedicated and focused. He possesses immense courage. It is obvious he cares deeply for his brothers and would sacrifice to keep them as safe as possible. As the perceived eldest, he has a great responsibility to them.

in the new toon and movie Leo and Raph! In the old toon I basically liked them all more or less. Leo and Raph drive this series with out them and their dynamics I don't see how the show can be really hard hitting in the personal relationships department. Don and Mikey are just too dull they don't have the same passion like Raph and Leo do and the only time they really shine is when one of them is teamed up with Leo or Raph.

Does April count as a psudo turtle?
