Okay, im starting this lil' thread to promote and advertise my upcoming fics...
*changes to the movie announcer's voice* He was young. Angry. and tired of his family... raph: Why does my7 family have to be so wierd?! I hate it! Sp: You are not appreciative of yur family until it is gone... one argument gone too far, and a young teen is left to fend for his own... raph: oh man, how could it get any worse? *thunderclap and rain starts coming down in sheets* Raph: Darn it... Raphael plays himself in the epic thriller... No place to call home... Coming in the spring of 2002... Mike: Cant wait to see what happens! Also, in the summer of 2002(hopefully)... the family goes into New England for some relaxation time...little do they know of what lies ahead. April: Oh my God, what is she?! Sp: in desperate need of help... one girl, one corporation and one man who wants her back... Mr. Hammond: She must return or die... bounty hunter: leave it to me... *drum roll* Midori: Chapter Seven is nearly complete. It's in the final editing stages. And I vaugely remember a promise to release the first chapter of "No place to call home..." when I put out chapter seven.
AND, I finished the rough outline for the beginning of my sequel to "Out of Time". (How did you people manage to talk me into this?) In the very least, *I* know who the mothers are, even if the story is never released. |

*drools* So you really are writing a sequel to Out of Time, eh Kali? Heh heh. I hope it does get published! And since everyone else is announcing upcoming fics, I might as well let you all know that I, Azure Turtle, will finally awaken from my slumber in One Fateful Day. Chapter three is more than half way finished. All I have to do is write up the end of the chapter and proof read it. And now I should have some time to do that :grin: |

I'm afraid I won't have a new chapter to promote for a few days though. I'm looking at several possibilities for everyone's reactions. I've got at least one vote to have my werewolf kick Mikey's butt. :smile: But...I think she's going to be a little more understanding than that. |

thanks SC! I actuall sat down list night, and in about ten minutes, i typed out about two pages of notes for my No place... story, and another one for my Ingen story. Im wondering if i should refer to Jurassic park stuff, or should use different names... *looks around fro copyright ninjas* |
I think as long as you credit JP and the author, that would be fine. Besides, it might save you from having to do a lot of exposition, since many of your readers would be at least familiar with JP.

I'd be willing to host your fanart too, Machias. :smile: But I won't be able to update the site extensively during spring break. I've been spoiled by having a T1 line.
And I see your point about the mystery behind the characters in Out of Time, Kali. Maybe there's a way you could write a sequel without revealing too many details? If you decide not to publish it, I understand. I won't chase you with a katana :wink: And I'm sure your other readers won't mind as well. They're your characters, after all. |
Shredder and I can host your fan art and fanfics, Machias (that goes for anyone else here who needs fan art or fics hosted, also). If it's a fanfic, send it to Shredder, and if it's fan art, send it to me. Nobody should be afraid to ask us for hosting, since we're always looking for stuff to host. :smile: We got tons of space on the server, and not much to put on it...

Back to upcoming fics. I have a sort of sequel for Popcorn ready. *Sound of crickets chriping* Well, Splinter goes on a trip, *dumdy dum dum dum* Not trusting the turtles after they last moment with out adult supervision, Splinter leaves April in charge. :lol: Make one note about needing a site to host at, and EVERYONE swarms to the scene.
But hay, if anyone's interested in hosting at my site, I'm cool with that too! Oh and Machias... the thought occured to me, and I forgot which TMNT Tales mirage comic this was in, but there was a time the TMNT spent quite some time in the past when dinos were around, with Renet, and battling Savanti Romero. Dunno if that's something you could use, but I thought I mention. ;p |
No kidding! I had one VERY EVIL thought. Have one site host the first chapter, thren link it to another site to see the next chapter, and so on... but that wouldnt be fair to the readers. be fun, but not nice..Hmmm, I'll take you up on that. Ive got a bunch of people to ask if they would be willing. Im planning on having a Bunch of pix up, as well as the story...
