Tracking Your Turtle Fan-dom

Hey all, Jester here. I was looking through my old elementary school class pics and I found this gem:

Yep, that's little Jester there in the front row wearing a TMNT t-shirt.
Anyone else have pictures of themselves wearing real vintage TMNT stuff?

Doesn't really count, but I did save the little guy... he had a fish hook stuck in his mouth lol

There are some, but I don't have them scanned.

I like that shirt. DO WANT!!

I still have my old Turtle shirts tucked away safely.

Also, that kid on the far left looks a little tipsy. :)

I recently found home movies that included Christmas '90 or '91, where I open a selection of TMNT goodies (some of which I still have).

I will deffinately share some stuff here soon!

You Tube

Are you going to upload them to the You Tube? I've seen some videos from the 1980's and 90's with children opening video games presents for Christmas or birthdays.

WOW!! Jester and Tothenines!!! You both look very cool nice!!! Those pics are beautiful gems!!!! Thanks a lot for sharing!!! :twink:

I got one pic,(not scanned yet, :tconfuse: sorry...) when I was teenager, and I was in Finland, near of a big TMNT anounce when they said "Puhua suomea" (means "we speak fininsh")...I was whatching TMNT cartoons in other languague!!!, Thanks God they were subtitle in english...!!!...LOL..

Here are a few i've found.
This gem is from '89. Notice what looks like a TMNT puzzle box bottom holding a number of other '88-'89 figures in the lower right.

And lastly, my idea of camping. My older brother was spending the night at a friends house so I decided to camp out with Donny - in his room!

Just to keep the Fan-Dom going but this is one of my step daughters as Leo.. I had this old TMNT pillow case that we converted into a costume..

Ha, my mam always put me in a shirt and tie for my school photos. That first turtle halloween costume is a stroke of genius. I love it. Ace photos everyone!

I got some, two i've put on here before, and two that I ain't.

First be me and my sister meeting a terrifying Michaelangelo. Or as Powder once put it, Mikeclops. Yep, it's an unfortunate angle.

Haha this thread is awesome! I am going to post some stuff in here as soon as I can get the pics scanned.

Chain Saw Massacre

Or the Chain Saw Massacre?

Here is my contribution. Looking like a typical dumb little kid. Haha. Btw, how awesome are those Leo Pjs? I wish I had some grown up ones.

Wow this awesome, I should have an old photo of me getting TMNT action figures for Christmas back in 1988... Gotta search though

Im suprised there isnt more posts in here. I love seeing these kind of old pics.

I know I have a bunch but all of the photo albums are buried in my moms closet & she's being a pain about letting me take 'em out.
She's afraid of a memory avalanche, I suppose.

Basement

I still have my old TMNT action figures in the basement.

I have some but sadly do not have a scanner :tsad:

These old photos are cool. I think i have a old photo of my bedroom when i was little. my whole room was ninja turtles posters drawings on the wall if i find it i will post it.

I TOTALLY had that shirt and I wore it until it was too small for my body and eventually ripped.:tsad: I wore from about age four to age fourteen. I gotta find some of those old school pics.

I definitely have some things to contribute to this thread, but it will require some digging.

All I have to say is that those pajamas are bad ass. That is all.

1993 the grand opening of H.E.B. i had free photos taken from my mom, she always had to have me pose with toon characters. not that i'd argue i thought it was neat, i had the geinie from aladen taken, the fairy and the tin man from wizard of oz, and a geraff in a tux (sorry if i mis spelled.) but the greatest of all photos has to be me and raph and mikey. i was 8 years old back then. http://tmntfan85.deviantart.com/art/...-kid-175586341 in case the photo doesnt show heres the link.

TMNT drawings

Aren't there any more TMNT drawings here?.

Ah, I love this thread! All the pictures are so great. I don't have any pics from when I was little... By the time the original toon was on, I was older, heh. Though I do think I have one from about 5 years or so ago I need to find!

But my brother... He has innumerable pics; every holiday or birthday was a TMNT fest! He even had that camera that every time it took a picture, the picture had a TMNT stamp on it! Haha, we need to find and scan those!

I'm sure I've got pics of me in TMNT gear somewhere, but for now, here's a lil FJ meeting the Turtles at MGM circa 92.

Check out my rad dinosaur sweater! Stylin! Notice my awesome shorts too.

Dang ill have to dig into my old pics to see what i have. Think i have one of me running around with a black t-shirt with the turtles on it. I remember having a TMNT backpack too.

October 1991

I recall a friend who had a TMNT themed birthday party when he turned 9 in October 1991.

Love the pics guys. Keep em coming.

Not so much an old pic, but I was rumagind through some old clothes and stumbled upon these. For hilarity's sake, I will take a pic wearing one in the future.

Two pajama shirts and a t shirt, all from montgomery ward. I remember when we got the TMNT III one too. We were looking for couches and my mom told me i had to get a new shirt, so when i found this one i was like I want it i want it i want it! and I got it.

I was not a big TMNT fan.I loved the original seriesdon't get me wrong but I never was into the figures and what not.Though I would look at them when I was at Walmart. The OT was fun and didn't take itself too seriously.I saw all 3 of the live action movies as well. For me though the OT was where it was at.

I totally love this style of Turtle 'mascot', or really I guess you could just call it a costume? its so cute and huggable and squeezable as, so cute! I really wish I had one like this, or if I had one like they had at the Disney-MGM studios where they performed that little dance in the mid 1990s, I only wish I was there when it happened instead of being stuck on this little island

xxlo

I'm gonna have to dig out the photos of me in my home-made Shredder costume from when I was 9 or 10 - red pajamas, cardboard armour...

So here I am with my giant Raph toy. I took him to picture day in Kindergarten. It was awesome.

^^^ Nice! I wish I had been cool enough to bring my TMNT action figures to picture day...:tsad:

I'll definitely be making good use of this thread. I finally came across all of my old photo albums. There are some dope shots of me rockin' Peter Laird art bearing pajamas, my 5th birthday where I got the entire Metal Mutants line, and me in some rare Next Mutation t-shirts. Lotta neat stuff.
