TMNT: What If...
 

Basic idea- (OK I'm going to sound like I'm talking down to you, I'm not, I've done this in the past on other boards and people have had no idea what I was going for) you write a what if statement, if someone thinks they have a good idea of what might happen in their mind, and thus it goes, no idea is to out there, no ansewer is wrong its just what you think may happen.
That being said...

What if Quark (sarnaths pet[archie]) came to live with the TMNT?

What if April had stayed in her mutant cat form?

What if Don had never stoped being the Dark Turtle?

What if Venus was a man?

What if Raph was the shinobie and Venus were the ninja?

What if Rocksteady and Bebop remained cuddley after "The Irish Jig is Up"?

What if I was the 5th Ninja Turtle? 8)

Come on, you saw this coming! :P

What language? I never said anything bad. My keyboard broke when I typed that and the only key that worked was the *. It was supposed to say pussycat. What did you think it was going to say? :evilgrin:

What if you took four turtles and a rat and stuck them all in a microwave and turned it on high for 5 minutes?

everyone would be rooting for the bad guy to kill him horribly

What if Casey were a woman?

What if the New toon Shredder were in the Old Toon?

What if the Image TMNT were done in the fasion of the old cartoon?

What if Ninjara and Lotus Blossum met?

Oh please let the turtles have eyes in the live action movie...

Alot of kids would get anurisms trying to figure out which one's which.

What if Leo and Raph actually used thier weapons to inflict pain in the cartoon show?

What if Splinter decided to go with the Turtles on their adventures?

What if the TMNT used firearms and became the NRAT (National Rifle Association Turtles)?

What if the TMNT moved as fast as real turtles did?

What if Shredder tried to get on a plane in the year 2003?

It would be much easier than in the comic, since they clearly have different voices on the cartoon.

In fast action scenes it would still probably be confusing. Laird himself has said that he has started to like the diffrent colored bandanas.

Parent groups would have a field day getting the new show dumbed down :).

the turtles would seem undertrained, but the Foot would stock up on rat poison.

Real turtles actually move pretty fast for their size ;).

That would be freaky....all of the personalities would be messed up.

Raphael was well-liked during the Renaissance. Michelangelo had a temper. If he did not have it his way, he would get mad. Also, Michelangelo did not like Raphael. Leonardo was the "Renaissnace Man". He did science as well as art. I have read his notebooks....they are in backwards Italian. I wished that I knew Italian. Donatello also had a temper. I have read somewhere that he was arrested for hitting someone with a stick.

A stick! How ironic!

What if the TMNT could reproduce?

What if April really had the hots for mikey instead of casey?

What if Splinter had a girlfriend?

What if Raphael had a child?

What if I really need to stop staying up late and getting all loopy?

An answer for all of those questions:
There would be no god :(
Seriously though, if you want my opinion:
What if Venus wasn't their sister? <- I couldnt care less
What if the TMNT could reproduce? <- It'd end the "alone in this world" thing for them...i cant say i would like that, i'd be happy for them but it'd make the series different
What if April really had the hots for mikey instead of casey? <- Well...i wouldnt let april get near my pets :blanksta:
What if Splinter had a girlfriend? <- There might be no age for love but he should have thought about that when he was younger imo...if he did managed to get a girlfriend i would be happy for him...but at that age, well... :p
What if Raphael had a child? <- He'd be a green version of dennis the menace i guess, with a grain of anger :p but id rather prefer the turtles not being able to reproduce
What if I really need to stop staying up late and getting all loopy? <- But then i'd have no questions to answer! :)

But it's up to you. A human, another mutant, an alien, whatever. The point is, if they could you open up a whole nother amount of possabilities.

And I know why Peter and Keven kept the TMNT from reproducing ;P

She'd be exacly like raph (the Queen of PMS as her cousins say) and put raph through all the hell he put Splinter through

The turtles cant reproduce because they are the only ones of their kind. That was why Laird was so emphatic against Venus. The turtles are NOT supposed to have kids.

I dunno..... I have seen some pretty horrible crap in fanfictions (like... Don being gay??!), but I've also seen some truly great stories (liek Dawnatello's and Andrew Modeen's)......

You should add that it is your belief that it's crap. As others believe it isn't, but a rather interesting twist and possability.

To each his own, or hers. And all are entitled to their opinions as that is their reality.

Those who can walk with their eyes and minds open, walk with no restraints to the endless possabilities that the crossroads of life set before us.

uhhh.... right.

when you basically screw around with epic characters and warp them from their basic archetypal structures, then i call it 'crap'. that would be like at the end of Star Wars, Darth Vader comes back to life and they live happily ever after. it would just suck.

OT: It was Anakin who came "back to life", not Darth Vader. Remember how he redeemed himself at the end of the movie?

Anyway, I for one don't mind seeing the TMNT finding romantic interests in stories, but when they start having kids I do tend to get alittle weirded out.

We all started messing with EPIC characters every time someone doodles on a napkin, writes in their journal about them, does a fanfic, makes a dynamic painting, etc.

I can appreciate the fact that you like the TMNT in their originality, and don't want them to change from that. I can also appreciate a good twist. And if your referring to the fan fiction I think you are, I think that the whole damn story was extremely well written and that ALL of the characters were kept true to their originality with the exception of a few small twists to the story.

I found it very creative and imaginative.

But by no means is it fact that it is crap. Although I will respect that you believe it was.

I'm only saying this becuase I read your post as stating it as fact that the story sucked. I disagree with that :P Not argueing the fact that you believe the story is crap. Just fyi

Don being gay is a little to big Twist... Or even worse, Raphael raped by Shredder :sick:. I have never read any fanfics, and I probably never will. But to each his own.
