Random Wrestling talk.. Was: anybody see SmackDown! tonight?
I just have one thing to say about it if you did... sable... now I have a follow up to that word, why....
I think vince has lost his mind... |
First Ric Flair and Hogan, then Bischoff, now Goldberg and Sable.    :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: It's only a matter of time before La Parka and Norman Smiley show up.

Thanks for spoiling it for me. My town doesn't have UPN... so we have to watch it on CBS at 4:00 PM on Fridays... but someone else told me. And they said the Diesel will return on Monday Night RAW... I have my sources... and these sources have been 95% accurate so far! Oh... and SABLE!!! YAY!!! But Vince has lost it for sure... |
Quote:
Didn't mean to ruin it for ya, I figured everyone had seen by now :| |
So if Sables back is Marc Mero (her husband) going to show up? Now all we need is to bring back Chyna and Jeff Jaret and the gates of hell will open up
|
Quote:
I wouldn't mind see Double J back, but sable, chyna and mero need to go away... for good... |
Actually the gates of Hell would open up if they brought Lex Luger back :dead: I wonder how long it will take before Sting sells his soul to Vinnie Mac and joins the line up of has beens.
|
I think the gates of Hell already opened when Piper showed up. I think that with Goldberg and Sable it's just starting to snow a little bit down there.
And I'd like Mero if he was Johhny B. Badd again. I always liked the "Kiss That Dont Miss" As for Smackdown, alls I can say is "Steph's legs! :o " |
Isn't Marc Mero dead? :|
|
Remember that wrestler that was supposed to be a vampire?
|
Wheee, the WWE continues on its spiral toward embarassing unwatchable crud. At this rapid acceleration rate, we'll be seeing hearing good ol JR saying "OMG! Doin is back! This is gonna be a slobber knocker!"
Is it me or is the WWE slowly starting to edge toward that embarassing 1993-1995 era everyone hated? |
Embarassing 1993-1995 era? Hmm, wrestling has always been embarassing...

I'd pop for the Big Wiggle

I wonder when the WWE will bring in Tony Schivonnie and Bobby Heenan to do commentary for Raw...

Im cool with Goldberg and Nash being back, but I have a feeling that this is going to be the last big run for several big names like Undertaker, SCSA, Nash etc.. Goldberg has only been around scince '98 so he still has a bit of a future left |
Yeah a lot of their big names should retire, especially Ric Flair and the Undertaker, and even Goldust; he has been around since like 96 or 97.
|
Quote:
Goldust as Goldust has been around scince '95 actually... before that he was in WCW as Dustin Rhodes, so he's been around a LONG Time... they need to do something with him, or he needs to call it quits, i totally agree. I am just glad Ric Flair RARELY wrestles anymore.. now if we can do something with the "rarely" part and make it never, he can stay on as a manager...nothing more.... |
Undertaker's been "hinting at retirement" for like four years now. He aint gonna retire until a *real* undertaker is putting his damn coffin in the dirt. And even then, Vince would probably find a loophole if he thought he could make a few more dollars.
Regardless, the guy in my avatar makes 'Taker wet his pants. VIVA LE NASH! |

That made no sense, but next thing you know, The NWO was formed |
Yup. Further proof that Nash is God.
I mean, look at the facts... he went from being drafted right after Magic Johnson in hoops, to being SuperShredder, then shaving his hair into a mohawk as Master Blaster Steel, then growing it back and spraypainting it silver as "The Great and Powerful Oz", then wearing a pink tuxedo as "Vinnie Vegas" and teaming with DDP, then jumping to the WWF as Diesel, JackKnifing that cocky b*tch Shawn Michaels through a table, then jumping to WCW and founding the nWo. There are so many wonderful moments we've been privelaged to witness thanks to Kevin Nash. To list them all would require more pages than the New Testament, but it would probably be a lot more entertaining. Who could forget the time Nash tried to clobber HBK with Mad Dog Vachon's prosthetic leg? Or what about the time he chucked little Rey Misterio face-first into the side of a trailer like a lawn dart? Surely we all remember the single funniest moment in wrestling history, the infamous "Finger Poke of Doom" match between Nash and Hogan. And of course, the single most tragic event ever to occur in a ring during a match, Nash, in his first match back since taking three months off for a torn bicep, tears his quad in half while walking across the ring 5 seconds into the match. What about the little things? Like the way he always puts people "in frame" before giving them a back elbow in the corner? Or the time back in 2000 when he apparently thought he was Sid Vicious and started Chokeslamming everyone in sight for reasons known only to him? Or what about how he'd bring a cardboard cutout of Scott Hall to the ring with him for an interview, and he would smile and crack wise despite the fact that the cutout got louder cheers than he did? And let's not forget Nash's greatest contribution, the single funniest line in wrestling history: "I think there's one thing that everybody is dying to know about Lex Luger... WHATTYA BENCH, LEX? WHATTYA BENCH?" And through it all, he still has the most well-conditioned hair in wrestling. Nash. GOD. |
Wow, that is the single greatest pro-nash post I've EVER read... so many good points you brought up!! Althought, I always enjoyed when the NWO destroyed several WCW superstars on an edition of WCW Nitro, then followed it up by going to the announcers booth, to ask the eternal question: "How 'bout them outsiders, eh?"
BUY THE SHIRT, WE NEED THE MONEY! |
I didn't like how nWo destroyed everything in WCW. nWo recruited like every person they could find. There were so many damn members, they splitted into two groups! They should've just kept the original three founders of nWo and kept it that way!

At least it gave guys like Scott Norton, Brian Adams and Curt Hennig a purpose in WCW.
But not guys like Konnan. Konnan go Hell. The Wolfpac did suck, but the nWo Elite, that was awesome... for the whole 5 minutes it was around. The nWo Silver with Nash, Hall, Steiner, Bret and Jarrett had promise, but Russo of course is an idjit, and the payoff to that angle was Nash getting hit by Jarrett's guitar and thinking he was Commissioner Gordon. (Sigh) Poor Kevin. If he had any pride that might have embarrassed him. |

God. Why aren't there any avatars of nWo members like Vincent and the Disciple? |

I liked nWo Japan. They sucked in WCW, but did you know that they were a FEARED facton in New Japan Pro Wrestling? Norton, nWo Sting, Michael Wallstreet, Brian Adams, Masa Chono, Tenzan, Great Muta, Masa Saito and Big Titan ran roughshod over everyone for a long, long time over there.
DID YOU KNOW: Before he was in WCW/nWo Japan as "Big Titan", Rick Bogner was in the WWF as... "The New" Razor Ramon! Therefore, at one point the New World Order not only had the real Razor Ramon, but the fake one as well. nWo Japan also had a lot of awesome, awesome theme music. They released a CD of it in Japan but it's out of print now. I downloaded a lot of the songs and they're really great. And Disciple kicked ass. Beefcake was never more ripped than he was then, even if his beard was ridiculous. |
*likes HHH, even though her TV personality doesnt* :D

I remember a Nitro when some people from nWo Japan wrestled in a few matches. One of the guys had a bag over his head for some reason.

lol, me and HHH both come from the same state o' New Hampsha! :D gotta love the hometown heroes...
*adds them to list, along with Eastman and Laird* :D |
I wish they would bring back Mic Foley. Then i'd start watching wrestling again. Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and Mankind all owned.

I forgot one of my all-time favorite Nash moments, the night after he won the WCW Commissioner role from Tery Funk at Souled Out 2001. He and his constituents came out and he made a long, passionate speech about how the nWo was finally in control and how things were gonna change.
Highlights: "Make no mistake, I am 100% in control. Hey, wait a minute... I feel like OZ up here!" "It's no secret that there's a lot of controlled substances backstage here in WCW, and that's gonna change. Right now, we have dogs backstage going through every single wrestler's locker. That's right, we're searching the lockers, and we are going to confiscate EACH and EVERY bottle of VIAGARA that we find! (points towards the ring at Luger) That means YOU, Lex!" God that was great. |
