IF that game had a wrestling ring in it, that could have been the best PS1 wrestling game, the engine was great

Actually nWo/WCW World Tour for N64 was worse, they had like 15 wrestlers that were actually real people and the other 50 were made up.

Ah there was one wrestling game for psx i really digged, you could make your own characters and choose their bg music :P unfortunately i dont remember the name of it.

WWF Warzone/Attitude/Smackdown1/Smackdown2 and WCW Mayhem/Backstage Assualt are the ones I can think of that let you make your own wrestler

I also played other 2 games for psx, a 2d wwf one and a nwo one...but didnt liked em too much.

No no no, WCW vs The World was great, I loved the premise. Real wrestlers from all over the world using fake names (to avoid copyright lawsuits)... it was a rough version of the modern WCW/nWo engine, but I mean that was the first good wrestling game to come out in years! Granted it didnt age well but at the time it was awesome! Not to mention how you could create your own Titles, that was awesome.

WCW/nWo same thing, I loved the real wrestlers with fake names. Well, except Master Fuji, that got them sued LoL

I thought Backstage Assault was HORRIBLE. The wrestlers moved like they were underwater, collision detection was god-awful and the graphics looked like they were construction paper cutouts. My girlfriend was just WATCHING me play and was begging me to shut it off and return it so I could get my 25 bucks back.

the best wrestling game i played for playstation was Smackdown. I still enjoy that game.

I liked Smackdown 2 a lot better, Smackdown 1 seemed only half-finished. Especially the Create-A-Wrestler. The Smackdown series definitely got better as time went on, I hated the first one passionately but can't stop playing the newest one.
