Actually Nicko, Shemp was one of the original 3 stooges but he left the group before they really got a show. When Curly left the show shemp returned to the stooges to replace him. And when Shemp died Joe replaced him. And when Joe left the group, Curly Joe replaced him. So really the 3 stooges are 6.

You know your Stooge history. Yeah, Shemp was in the act before the Stooges started making shorts for Columbia Pictures.

After Curly and Joe, there was a 6th stooge name Curly Joe DeRita. But i think that they referred to him as Curly most of the time.

Ah i see...well, except for seeing what the curly joe character was like im not really interested in seeing them now :oops: 's understandable tho, after making so many episodes, for so many years, they probably had to use the old jokes when they ran out of ideas.
