Gotta agree with you there. I had issue with this guy years ago. Told him that he was outright lying to make a sale. Everything he has are "Prototypes and Test Shots". But most of his decriptions are laughable, unfortunately some poor newbie believes it and thinks they're getting some great deal!

Sword Slicin' Leo 02-11-2011 01:41 PM

Yeah that is crazy

Jester 02-11-2011 02:02 PM

What about $120 for Bonesteel

Sword Slicin' Leo 02-11-2011 02:57 PM

This guy has sold 3,259 items and has 100% feedback WTF?!?!?

Sword Slicin' Leo 02-11-2011 02:57 PM

oh wait, u cannot leave poor feedback anymore right??

muckman1 02-11-2011 09:00 PM

Not only is he a lair but his prices are sky high=jackass

Voidoid 02-11-2011 09:11 PM

Yeah, he's pretty crappy. Sky high prices and he lies a lot in his descriptions. Though, I did buy one thing off of him to complete a collection and he threw in a free cartoon cel. Not bad.

Loco 02-11-2011 09:57 PM

I dealed with him twice for my first giant movie star , donnie and Leo , and Don basket ball giant , my first one, It was back in November 2k9, I paid $29 for Leo without swords , and $19 for Don lose his bandana, Don basketball hmm 39???easy :( I guess yes I was a newbie. a week later I found another lot with Leo giant MS with one sword plus Donatello giant basketball with the ball! for maybe $30 w/o shipping from another seller, and of course I sold back my twins in France, shipping cost my friends.so I quickly found that longer the hunt is , better the victory taste. no more Footballorangeguy since then. too flippin much expensive stuff.

Btw , I believe in theses Rubber Turtles. the pictures looks legit to me. I'd luv to buy theses but no, thanks. step your prices :tthumbsd:

Digital Ghost 02-11-2011 10:45 PM

I have a Leonardo figure that appears to have a rubber body too... although I'm not sure if that's the case or perhaps just what happens to the plastic after so many years. It's MOC, so I'm not about to open it to find out.

Ninjinister 02-12-2011 01:03 AM

footballorangeguy is pretty nefariously known 'round these parts. Yeah, check this one out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/tmnt-FOOT-SOLDIE...item43a39c1a06

Not only are these reissues and not technically counting towards the original 10-backs, that's not the April that was released in that wave.

go_ninja84 02-12-2011 09:40 AM

i dont think they are what he is describing my 88 moc raph has excally the same thing on his left leg but i can clearly see the seam from the molds coming together besides didnt the soft heads come with a fan club offer? i do believe plastic will look like that with age i know the belts do

HalfcourtGame 02-12-2011 11:57 AM

Good ol orangeguy he sure gets a lot of free publicity around these parts haha. Worst part about him for me is if you were collecting Turtles back in like 06 and ebay still showed bidders he was buying ERRYTHING! Can't count the times he beat me on SuperMutants and Invisible Mike.

drewizzle88 02-13-2011 09:22 PM

He sure is a "creative" seller, the plastic is breaking down and he calls it rubber...lmao

I hope no one buys it believing what he put in the description.

That garbage stole 69$+SHIPPIN from me by sellin me an ULTRA RARE BBQ TESTSHOOT PROTOTYPE mini tmnt playset way back in the days.. ...

Loco 02-14-2011 05:07 AM

The pictures are really confusing me now. So... Does anybody confirm this "All rubber" is Fake and just a reg softhead ?
Powder , Vaughn , Archon, I assume you know pretty much all about the old line , have you ever heard of theses ?

Well im pretty familiar with the old toy line and i can honestly say i have never heard of rubber body figures, ive heard of some of the limbs as test runs but you could usually tell on a limb by looking closely and if you see a seam in the middle of it that's from the 2 molds coming together its hard plastic. also the soft heads in 88 were the first editions but in 90 i believe the discontinued the whole original 10 figure line and only released them as reproductions after that and the first ones i saw were in 92 the target exclusive 4 pack with all four turtles in one box, they were made of hard plastic heads and all. but i have to agree with drewizzle88 i believe the plastic is breaking down and he is trying to pass it off to make more money. as said before i never seen a soft head look that clean molded, so it leads me to believe they are not fake just the hard plastic figures

HalfcourtGame 02-18-2011 11:13 AM

This I gotta see. Do you have a pic still?

They're not rubber

I finally broke and opened up a "rubber leo" I had. It's just a defect in the plastic. It's my assumption that the few figures that have this defect came from the same factory that was perhaps trying a cheaper plastic to save money. I've come across quite a few of these "rubber" figures now. I've seen ones with one to all limbs having the defect and a few with the body or head having it. My opinion on the matter is that they are more rare than a non defective figure so they should be worth slightly more than a regular one. I emphasize slightly, definately not exponentionally more valuable. I'm sure other's opinions may be that since it's a defect the figure is actually less valuable since it's not really mint. I have a Krang MOC with a white walker bubble. It's completely sealed, not faded by the sun, and perfect in every other way so I'd assume that's some production defect, but I hate it. I'd rather have a nice clear one.

Hi to all by the way, I'm always here I just don't post often.

so have there been real rubber limbs made before? or was it just the soft heads

Candy Kappa 03-01-2011 12:16 PM

I'm sure if there was any rubber body/limbs versions of the 88 release some of the hardcore collectors would have some pictures or told about them

As far as I know only rubber heads. I think all the rubber limbs are claims of rubber limbs and the buyers who pay way to much for them don't open them to discover this.

mustafa 03-11-2011 09:09 AM

Besides these far-fetched claims of "rubber bodies", this person has been selling a bunch of TMNT figures on eBay recently, but he is asking for ridiculously inflated prices on them. It is no wonder hardly anyone is buying from him, yet somehow he does have 100% good feedback.

VaughnMichael 03-11-2011 05:01 PM

I've had plenty of figures do that as recent as 1994 figures.
So it's not a rubber thing..it's just some sort of issue with the plastic.
I can see though how someone would think this though as I've seen quite a few of the rubbery Movie Star TMNT figures with this odd white powder look to the skin.
EDIT: I didn't realize this was footballorangeguy, do not listen to a thing this guy says.
He knows nothing and claims everything he's bought of me that I bought in retail was a prototype.
