This is also for character design discussing, Because over the years splinter has had more different design tweaks then any other character, Based on my experiances

I want to be able to respect him as a wise master, not some wacky-character the '03 series made him in Fast Forward. He could have some humor, but not too much.

I want him to be able to take part in combat and not be so weak and feeble.

I am gonna be hated for this one. i think halfway thuogh the season he should pass away...I wanna see the boys succeed without him...Not so much as killed by shredder,but just passed on...

I want him to be original. Everything should be original. Why do you keep making these threads based on other characters?
Does everyone really just want to see the same sh*t over and over?

Have him dif from all the other Splinter's so far.

Hell let's make him and Saki South Korean while we're at it, that would at least explain how Shredder can operate high tech machinery/weapons if/when he meets up with New Utrom Krang.

I would like to see Nick make Splinter an Utrom. A first year science student, the turtles are actually his 'experiment'. :fshifty:

I want him to be original, but I think He should be an actaul Ninja Master and be able to hold his own, I also like him as comic relief

So long as he's nothing like the Coming Out of Thier Shells version I am happy with whatever.

I want Splinter to be a wise master and kick some butt. I loved his humor in 2K3 and would like to see some of that as well. I don't want him to sit on the sidelines while the Turtles fight like he did in the OT. Also, I want a more familial feel to him and have him address the Turtles as, "My sons" instead of "My Turtles."

I know he's old but he's also supposed to be a ninja master he shouldn't be completely helpless.

I guess i'd like an Archie-esque Splinter, one who's their master and father, but also a valuable part of combat. As long as I recognize him, and he's a father who can kick som butt, I'll be fine.

A six thousand year old raisin. Or a combination of the first movie/2007 movie/2K3, all of which I like.

I hope he has brown fur again..nothing against 2k3 splinter but I just like how he looks with the brown fur much more.

He should be a drunk that abuses the Turtles, but cares about them nontheless, and dies of Kidney and liver failure.

Honestly I don't care as long as he isn't super powerful or super lame I'm good. Let him be original, caring, fair but firm, and honorable.

I'd rather see April become Leonardo; a distraught teenage girl with no direction in her life suddenly gets her world shifted when she becomes a mutated turtle. Taken under the wing of the wise Hamato Splinter, she learns disclipline and practices it to a fault, becoming the unofficial leader of team Turtles! :P

What color should he be?

I'd prefer Splinter to have the Rat Origin, as close to the comic as they can go for a Saturday cartoon. Designwise I'd like him to be a brown rat, a Red robe/Kimono. Dependant on a cane and can hold a fight, but due to age will be limited.

if they are going for a human turned rodent origin, I really hope they do not make a episode showing he is the true heir/soke of the Foot clan. Unless he have trained the turtles to defeat Shredder and reclaim the clan. But it clashes with karai, and I'd love to see her return to the screen and be like her comic counterpart.
