Favorite Pizza Topping + Favorite Pizza Place
So many different ways to customize a pizza to every pizza lover's personality. What is yours? When it comes to pizza, I will admit I am kind of boring. I perfer heavy on the cheese. And my favorite pizza place is Papa Johns.
|
I stick to classic Pepperoni. I am a sucker for barbecue chicken though. Favorite pizza joint on earth is Papa Nick's in Bellport, New York. Rays (The pizzeria where Keno works in Secret Of The Ooze) is bangin', and there's another place called Zino's that I love (also in NY).

I've never been to New York, so I wouldn't know. Is there anything about that pizza parlor that is reconizeable from TMNT II, and does have anything that points out its involvment with the TMNT Project like a poster or an item on the menu?
|
Well, if you watch SOTO you can see the joint from the same angle as the first photo I posted when Keno goes outside and hops on his scooter while attempting to flirt with those chicks. They didn't have anything inside crediting them as being in the film, though. The dudes working there barely even spoke english, haha.

Weird how the T/S derails his own thread.
( Nicely handled Powder. ) In an attempt to get it back on topic , my Favorite Pizza place is Little Ceasers. Usually cheese & sausage. They have also have amazing Cheese breadsticks and garlic butter to dip them in. In WV we don't have many cool locally owned pizza places. Mainly just the franchises |
My favourite place is also Little Ceasar's and I like their pepperoni pizza but I like their other pizza's too.
|
The job talk needs to go to the Volcano Asteroid section or whatever it was, I actually don't see it anymore...
Anyways, my favorite pizza place is Saullo's... And topping is pepperoni... As for Ray's... There are a crap load of them in NY... And all of them claim to be the original... LOL... -ms *edit - Just read that the Volcano imploded on itself... Guess that means you can talk your(ninja25) trash in here, I will just boycott your posts... Powder is 150% on point... |
Fave pizza toppings are Canadian Bacon and Pineapple.
Fave pizza place has to be Garlic Jim's but I also like Papa Johns. |
What is this, Fox News? Get that sh*t outta here.
This isn't exactly in the same realm of discussion, but Amy's Kitchen makes an incredible cheeseless frozen pizza. The first time I had it I thought it was going to suck (pizza without cheese?) but it's more delicious than any other pizza I've ever had. I f*cking love this pizzza. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBUdnkLhsu.../amyspizza.jpg |
I stop in at Vinnie's for a deepdish fudge ripple w/ extra pepperoni every time I go hang w/ my buddy, Pow-Didder. That just hasn't happened yet.
|
Fit's the boggle? Is this thread just a disguise for a crazy mad political rant? I only came in here to say the BBQ chicken, with pineapples and jalapenos is my favourite pizza topping. And Subway topping. Oh, you're on a TMNT forum which doesn't allow political/etc discussion, wisen up. Fud.
|
I like dominoes and Papa Johns. My favs gotta be anchovies with extra cheese and pinepple and ham but I doubt the OP cares about that.
|
I looooove pizza with chicken of some variety as a topping.
But one of the best pizzas I ever had was pepperoni pineapple and bananna peppers. Just the right amount of tangy salty and sweet. Nowadays I usually make my own pies. If I make them it's artichokes blackened chicken fresh garlic red onions and pineapple |
I prefer my pizza with no toppings, really. Au naturale.
Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns are also my favorite pizza chains. There's also this restaurant in the Bronx called Tosca's that has great coal oven pizza. |
I like pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives basically.
When I lived in Houston, I liked Doubledave's where they served the best pepperoni rolls ever! And in DFW area, I have three favorite places. 1). Pizza Inn; mostly in poor side of town (anywhere south of I-30). Like their buffet. 2). Pizza Hut; there's only one dine-in Pizza Hut left that I go to. They still have the all you can eat lunch buffet as well. And I also go there to visit Nancy (now retired), even sing that Jonas brothers song to. 3). Crystal's; an Irving institution since 1978. Been going there since 1980. It's like a Chuck E Cheese, except there's no costumed characters or mechanical stage show. They have arcade games & theatre. Yes, they also have a lunch buffet. Located on MacArthur & TEXAS 183 heading east. |
well i love to go to a place called "Rodos" for pizza as well as "Nicks". both of similar styles of pizza making. and i love lots of meat! the meatier the better! lol!
also love Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Pizza Pizza. |
Pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, onion, extra cheese, for the most part.
As for favorite places, I'd have to go with Ray's (in NY), and for my area, Roma's. The pizza there is really good. |
lots lots of cheese and tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, green peppers.:trolleye:

For me it's probably McCains frozen magherita pizza (I feel dirty just writing it), or something I put on pita bread, usually onions, garlic, basil, tomatoes, bocconcini and olive oil. One of the best joints to get a pizza around here is a chain called crust, but much more pricey than say your Dominoes or La Porchetta. |
Perproni, mmmmmm. Papa Johns is the best pizza ever
|
I like pineapple but I normally order pepperoni because it usually is the topping that gets the least objection when I'm ordering for a group. I'm not picky when it comes to venues either... whatever doesn't taste like s**t, I'll eat.

Good to see u guys went back on topic

When I was in school in the dorms, if you ordered pizza you could expect half of it to be gone by the time you got to your room. So we started getting creative on toppings and such in hope others would leave it alone. Me and my roommate discovered we both liked bacon, black olive with a ranch sauce instead of marina based one. We would get ham, salami, onions, green peppers, or a variety of other things on it every once in a while. But we discovered that the majority did not like the tang or the taste combo of the three together so our pizza got left alone.
|
I have to amend my answer because I had a cheeseless pizza tonight and it was the best pizza. ever. Basically the sauce was pureed roast tomatoes/ garlic/capsicum and dotted with pesto and topped with onions and tomatoes. This baby had a ton of olive oil to give it that greasy goodness.
|
Ham,sausage, and pepperoni with thick crust. and my favorite pizza place is Mazzios, shame there is only 14 stores left.
|
I am a big fan of Pizza Hut and when I order from Pizza Hut i only need pepperoni. I Do enjoy the occasional addition of pineapple as well though. My absolute favourite place to order pizza is a place called Tony's Pizza in London Ontario. The pizza is just amazing! If you order the deluxe, it's so loaded with cheese and toppings that you pretty much have to use a knife and fork to avoid a huge mess! They also have awesome panzarotti too!
|
Basically, everything that comes with typical supreme pizza.
Pepperoni Sausage Peppers Four cheeses Onions Pizza Hut and Dominos are my favorite places because they offer all natural toppings. Not the processed stuff. |
I usually just order cheese. For Pizza Hut, though, I go for Pork. Bacon is also pretty good on Dominos.

I actually tried Papa John's for the first time in years. Friggin' delicious.
I'm old-fashioned, though. I usually just get beef and pepperoni. |

If you're ever in Minneapolis (or even Duluth, MN), order the garlic mashed potato pizza at Pizza Luce. Trust me! |
I like the simple cheese pizza from either Pizza Hut or Marco's.
But I also love the Cheese Pizza from the restaurant located in Disney World's Epoct's Italy. Talk about delicious! Great now I am craving pizza!:tpizza: |
extra cheese pan pizza (with a side of heartburn) from pizza hut...spicy Italian (pepperoni and spicy Italian sausage) if ordering from papa johns... extra-cheese white pizza from Vocelli's and from my favorite mom and pop shop in the burgh "pizza heaven" it is always just plain cheese :)
|
I normally make my pizzas on a pizza stone in my bbq. I like lots of cheeses, capsicum, tomato, red onion, pesto on a marina base.
My ultimate tip for left over pizza - take two slices, put them cheese side together and place in a sandwich toaster. It's brilliant. |
I just made a veggi pizza on wheat ,it was delicious!:D

Incoming Transmission...
Growing up I stuck with the classic pepperoni. When I got older I started enjoying Black Olives, Bacon and Sausage. Pretty much pepperoni plus any of those makes me happy. I'm not picky about crust but I do like stuffed crust once in a while. My favorite pizza place is a little bit more difficult. :tconfuse: I really like them all (After all it takes quite a bit of effort to mess up pepperoni). But if I had to pick one I'd choose Dominos. An honorable mention goes to Little Ceasars whose pizza may not be the best, but whose price and wait time is great for a busy, working, college student. End Transmission. |
I mostly eat pizza from the grocery store, but I like UNO Pizza's the most, especially the pepperoni. It's restaurant-quality deep dish without the restaurant prices and home atmosphere since I buy it from Costco, though there are UNO restaurants across the country.
