so does anyone know how good was ep 10s ratings and is the show still living up to its word I love it so far but if your not a big fan like us I dont know. I know Yugi oh is still kicking ass my sister still watchings that **** but likes the turtles like me lol :)

The ratings are a bit iffy, but being that it is a fox box show brings it down even more, the fact that some of those loony anime shows are beating it won't help them to create a season 2....

u mean out of all the cool stuff we seen there might not be a season 2 :(

that's always a possibility....but don't worry about it, I think the chances in my opinion are 50/50 now...

Episode 10 ratings have not arrived yet, but last 2 episodes had good ratings! It was divided first place on Fox box. And I doubt that episode 10 will do any worse. If things continue like this, it is very likely that we will see a second season.

The ratings are iffy? Since when? The show has been doing well recently...

As long as we watch every episode every week then every thing will be cool.

Don't listen to Tokka. The show is one of the highest rated programs on the Fox Box. I expect that if the ratings stay where they are right now, there will be a second season.

Towards the beginning it was good, but then got bad, then a little better, then bad, it keeps bouncing like that, that is not what the channel's host wants to see... This show will last 2 seasons at most, like most foxbox shows...

Tokka's got a point there. Most american cartoons don't last more than 2 seasons nowadays.

Damn, it would stink if the new TMNT only lasted 1-2 seasons when the original lasted what? 8?

The YuGiOh Anime shown in America does suck, but the Manga is great! It's very dark and rarely has that card game.
(I've noticed alot of YuGiOh bashing around here)

Yu Gi Oh is crap, pokemon is crap, digimon is crap, all of that stuff...crap crap crap

I happen to like Pokémon and Digimon but I understand why most of you don't.

Agreed, if it continues to be the most popular show on FoxBox, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't order another season.

It had bad ratings for 2 episodes, but then it got back up. I don't know about 4kids policies, but as the Merchandise is selling well, and show getting good ratings, the show could be on air for years to come. Should the merhadise sells drop, things would look darker.

That seems to be a constant with Kids shows, aslong as the Merchandise continues to sell well, the shows will stay on the air. I can only asume that is the same for TMNT... and yes the ratings are doing somewhat ok now

They are doing good, of course you can't excpect it to get something Like Pokemon, but Garbageman was one of the most watched series on it's time slot compared to all other channels.

It's been doing well, and I believe it will continue to do so.

Yeah, if episode 10 got worse ratings, I would be suprised.

I have a feeling that the show will do fine in the ratings.

This guy I work with loves Pokemon, and before we got a computer with DVD rom, he would watch the Kid's WB in the breakroom all the time. It drove this one girl nuts cause she hates anime.

It will be sometime early next week when we can see how episode 10 did...

Except ratings hardly ever show an accurate consensus of how the show is really doing...if all the people they are using watch the show then of course it will get good ratings, but doesn't mean most people watch the show....I think the only way a season 2 will happen is if they start selling the old tmnt on dvds and use that money, otherwise it will be a gamble...

Yeah, Tokka's got a good point. The ratings may not be as high as the shows on Kids WB, but the toys are selling like there's no tomorrow. Even if the ratings are low compared to other shows, I think the TMNT are doing very well.

great for a sec u guys scared me! I thought it was going to die, I love this show so much and almost as more as the older one I hope it has lasting power just got to keep up the good storys and the viewers will be interested : :goofygri:

i got a feeling the show is gonna be one of those 2 seasoners which is really good by today's standards and if the foxbox wants to improve the turtles they need some kind of weird send-in rap contest "word to ya mother!" j/k

Anywayz i hate fox for 2 reasons :futurama and family guy and i bet the turtles will get the same injustice sooner or later

all we need to do is watch it and get the word out i'm sure long time turtle fans and new fans would watch it hey the other one did last 8-10 seasons look at dumb ass digimon still on and sucking and still going to stay on...

The rating might not be accurate, but all the other shows ratings are calculated the same way. 4kids gets it money from licensed Merchandice and Add time.

Advertaiser probably use the Nielssen ratings to choohce where to put their adds. When episode 9 aired, TMNT was 4th show at the same time.

And like said, Merchandice is selling VERY well, So we shouldn't have nothing to fear. Of course anything can hapen, it wouldn't be a first time when succesfull shows are cancelled. But we shouldn't worry about it. For now, we should just enoy what we get.

I just wonder, are the ratings we see for any specific age group? They tend to do that with kid's shows. I mean, the ratings we see could reflect how many kids of a certain age are watching it, not how many people in general.

No, I read about nielssen ratinng from their homepage. There is a certain number of homes, and they gather all data from there.

Well seems like all that FOX has left is Simpsons...I'd hate to see that cancelled, although I doubt it ever will...13 years is a great start!

I wonder how long the Simpsons have left. I mean, they have to run out of ideas someday. They have done almost everything, they even had a tiny green alien named Ozmodion that only Homer could see. :lol:

fox has nothing left! lets face it!

simpsons ran out of ideas on season 8 and the only shows that ever get promoted now are american idol and junior american idol and sperm cell idol (you know its coming)

I just checked the ratings for 12th April on AFPR. Of the list of 37 kids shows the 2 Ninja Turtles episodes came in at:

12. - TMNT 2 (10:30am airing) - Highest rated Fox Box show

17*. - TMNT 1 (9:00am airing) - (* tied with Cramp Twins(Fox), Kim Possible(ABC), PRNS 1(ABC) and Ultimate Muscle(Fox))

The top 3 shows are Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon (both WB and tied 1st) and Static Shock(WB).

Remember that Fox does not controll fox box. 4kids does. If it were up to Fox, all hope would be lost.

Yea, FOX has nothing left besides Simpsons...which will indeed last much longer, there has been word of a movie, plus they continue to do well with dvd sales... All they have is that reality crap and fake drama, my eyes bleed when I watch that channel, sheesh...

Luckily fox doesn't call the shots here.
