What TMNT vhs did you watch the most?
for me and im embarrassed to say this but the tape i watched the most is a tie between raph meets his match and coming out of their shells..so yeah make fun of me all you will but i still love the coots i got it on my ipod along with getting down in your town.. so sue me!
Probably the 1st movie. I don't own any of my VHS tapes anymore, sadly. I gave the FW tapes to a young Turtle fan friend of mine, and sold my movie VHSs at a yard sale after I upgraded them to DVD. I feel sorry for the person who bought my TMNT 1 tape...it was practically worn out.

Hot rodding teenagers. I watched the crap out of this poor vhs
this always got me so pumped up |
If we're talking OT only, hard to say... I do know the 3 I watched most, though, The Great Boldini, Sky Turtles, & Invasion Of The Turtle Snatchers.
we're talking any tmnt related vhs..

Cowabunga, Shredhead, Super Rocksteady and Mighty Bebop and the 1st movie are the ones I watched the most.
I remember watching my cousin Joey's copy of "Cowabunga Shredhead" and "Case of the Killer Pizzas" an awful lot!

I will always associate that sound file with TMNT cartoons! |
Hmm. My cousins and I watched the hell out of "Cowabunga Shredhead" back in the day. And I wore out my VHS copy of the first movie, but I still have it and I'll never junk it :)
Also, when season 1 of the OT came out in 2004, my cheap ass 13-year-old self opted for the VHS version of it and I've given that tape quite a going over. And at one point I'd owned "The Shredder Strikes Back" on VHS as well Michelangelo's Christmas Rescue. Probably watched the former a little bit more. |
It's a tie between The Shredder is Splintered and Case of the Killer Pizzas for me
I only had one or two VHS tapes of the OT back in the day so it was mostly the movies. Secret of the Ooze in particular because as a kid I thought Super Shredder was the most awesome thing ever.
"Leonardo Lightens Up"! Still cracks me up. Great ep's.

cowabunga shredhead, and the 1rst and 3rd movie.
I saw more than 20 times de VHS of first TMNT movie...and I probably wear out the poor VSH film.... !!! (It was probably my record on movies when I was a teenager...):lol::lol:
The most watched TMNT VHS ... I think it was the german Volume 1 of the VHS Collection called "Die Monster Pizzas" which included the Episodes "The Case of the Killer Pizzas" and "Enter: The Fly" (btw. Enter: The Fly is my all time favourite Episode from the Original Series)
I watched the 1st and 2nd movie the most. My Mom had to buy the 1st vhs 3 different times cause of me watching them so much. I still have all 3 on vhs!
I probably watched my VHS of the second movie more than any other VHS. As a kid I didn't realize that the first movie is far superior to the second. The second one was a little more childish, while the first was actually a great movie.
Probably Heroes in a Half Shell. Although I was terrible at taking care of my VHS boxes. The cover to that thing was gone within a couple of weeks.
I had no appreciation for the awesome cover art when I was a kid. |
I watched the first movie a lot when I was kid. Way before DVD's and Blu-Ray.:tlol: I also had my share of watching the second film a lot when I was 10 or 11. I didn't have the third movie that time. Now I have all of them on DVD. Wish I could watch the first one again.:tcool:

For me, my first ever VHS was Case of the Killer Pizzas, b/w Enter the Fly. Since I had it first and been watching since I was 4, is the one that I've watched the most. This is followed by Cowabunga Shredhead, which I got it after my 5th birthday. My third VHS was Super Rocksteady & Mighty Bebop (not the other way around like the episode title!), but I had a hangup over one line from the second episode, Mutagen Moster, for the line "Donatello? Who's Donatello?" and it was mesmerizing to me because while the turtle was clearly Donatello, that Greg Berg voice made me believe that perhaps it wasn't really Donatello and my brainwaves felt that something was so wrong that I wouldn't watch it ever again for another 7/8 years when I was old enough not to be afraid of it! But then I got "Attack of the Big Macc" for my 6th Birthday, a bargain-bin copy of "Heroes In A Halfshell" (first two episodes) shortly after, and finally "The Turtles Awesome Easter" when I was 7. I also had "The Movie" when it first came out, but given some dark moments, I preferred the more lighthearted cartoon at the time and only watched rarely (along with SOTO, which I watched a bit more since it wasn't as dark). I didn't get another VHS until I saw a copy of "The Shredder is Splintered" last year which I got for a buck. This was of course before I ever used online payments to buy VHS.

The first Movie
I remember the tmnt vhs so well that i remember it was made by fhe company that i liked all the vhs when i was a Kid. Tmnt movies part 1 to 3 are my favorites!
Secret of the ooze. So much so I'm surprised the tape didn't break. I used to watch it everyday after school for a year at least.
Let me c probably The first movie, I had to grab another VHS tape lol, When it come to the OT The BK vhs tapes, Cowabunga shred head, Sky Turtles, Invasion of the Turtles snatchers, and the great boldinie I loved those to death :D
I only had Cowabunga Shredhead so that one. However all of my friends had different Turtles videos (possibly planned by the parents) so I got to see all the videos a few times.
I suppose it had to be the 'Case of the Killer Pizzas' VHS that also included 'Enter the Fly' episode.
I wore out my "Epic Begins" tape from watching it so many times.
tmnt movie leo lightens up raph meets his match and the burger king vids of sky turtles and april foolish
The BK tapes and the first movie is what I remember watching. We also watched SOTO a lot, too. We didn't have the third movie though. We rented it, but that's the only time we ever watched it.
Probably "Cowabunga Shredhead" because I'm pretty sure it was my first official episode and I loved Michaelangelo, lol.
Also I remember renting "The Incredible Shrinking Turtles" from my library a lot and then taking out my Burger King turtle com and pretending the turtles were watching the episode, lol. |
Hmmm either the Case of the Killer Pizzas or Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady, had both as a kid, watched them both to DEATH
I liked watching "The Great Boldini" for some reason. I think it was because it was one of the very few episodes I had that featured the Rat King, and I loved his background music.
