As always I'll be adding any comments to the TMNT comic (and CrimeFighters) comic at the end of the issues... although I really should get further ahead with the TMNT one...

For those interested, I got to page 10 of the Crimefighters story. I'll try to work on Turtles in the weekend, but I'm liking how my new series is looking so far.

I haven't read your other work Coola but I always liked your fan comic. It's an awesome blend of the OT and the 2K3 show.

You should really finish #19 ... and keep going! ;)

I wouldn't consider them bad. They aren't artistic masterpieces or anything, but considering how few TMNT fan-comics are out there, they deserve some respect for the large amount of content you packed into them. While your current style is a definite improvement, I don't think it makes your early works obsolete either.

hmmm well, I left the comics behind when I moved to the US, and although I (think) I can still access the site's original files through the site's webshell, rather than the site itself (i'm not sure, but my comp does get virus warnings when I try to go to my old TMNT sites....)

I wonder if anyone saved the pages of the old comics. Perhaps next month I can re-do the Metalhead story with some tweaks here and there and continue the series... I do have the advantage of having the first arc done and all these characters to work on... I did want to start over and re-do them, but it would take forever to do the first Foot arc and would be easier and faster to just continue....

I'd like to say I would never call the art from your original pages crappy. Sure, it's drawn a little simplistic but it has it's charm.

Thanks man, it's good to see these old stories again, and it helps me remember stuff so I don't screw continuity with the newer stories. You missed a few pages though, particularly some of the page 30's and back covers that had fan letters on them. If you have them, I'd appreciate it, I wanna honor those that took the time to write about the series when I re-post them all up on DA.

I'll see if I can't try to send you what I have in the next day or so.

I'm adding the cleaned-up Issue 1 and 2 to my DA page as we speak and gave OldmanWinters and Hermano Dyvas a much-deserved shout-out on both the back page of Issue 1 and my journal entry.

true, though it's gonna take a while. I'm gonna have fun uploading the previous issues to DA.

I suggest adding a "Next Page"/"Previous Page" link on the description entry for each issue, it will make for more easy reading.

Indeed it would, and would save folks having to backtrack to the Gallery Pages for each page in the issue.:tgrin::twink::tgrin:

I know that's what I'm going to do with MY comic pages once I get them done and uploaded to my DA account:twink:.:twink:

I'll add more issues up in a week after I return from a trip. I'll be trying to add more CrimeFighters pages in the meantime.

Why split and create another forum like this? Isn't it butter to have the fans here.

I used to have my own TMNT forum, but it died off when life got too busy to maintain it. Was kinda hoping to see if a new one would work.

yeah, you're right. the new forum isn't workin out. Worth a try I figured. Anyways I'm up to issue 15 and getting closer and closer to the Metalhead issue.
