Hey everyone...

*sigh* I'm afraid this is going to be my last opportunity to torture you with making/locking these new ep threads. I'm not going to be on for a good while, I fear. Summer at home + no internet + summer job = not much time to chat... :(

*snicker* looks like Mike's trying out the superhero bit again. Let's just hope it looks a lil better than the old ep "MIkey Meets Bugman"...

One can only imagine the reactions of the brothers, not to mention Master Splinter.... :evilgrin:

I liked "Mike Meets Bugman".

Was it just me, or did the guy in the bank controlled by the thing sound shockingly like Brian Tochi, voice of Leo in the movies? I'm going to have to check the teeny tiny credits...

Cheesy but fun. I liked it.

i missed the first half. The second was ok. Next looks alright

this has been the only episode i didnt like. where did that superhero come from. i was hoping mikey would wake up from a dream

Not the best but I liked it okay. I think it was better than Nano.

i dont like the fact of knowing that superheros and other villains live in new york with the turtles

There have been superheroes in the old cartoon and the Mirage comics.

nano beat this one by a mile. 10 times beter than this episode. i wish i hadnt seen it

i really didn't like this episode. i was so happy when he ripped off that stupid costume though.

only thing i liked was april's appearance.

o man what roll did she play. I wish i would have seen it all even though it looked corny

Worst yet actually....as Machias pointed out, it was really cory, and in a bad way.
Where the great goopala did that superhero dude come from??!! Its so random, it practically belittles the turtles and everything.

Storywise, This was more like a really good episode of the old cartoon than a mediocre episode of the new cartoon. (I think the grappling hook is a reference)
The Animation was great! They really made it look like a comic book.
All in all, This ep. was no "Shredder Strikes" but not bad. April was even there! :D

i thought it was great. good humor, pretty good action, Mikey got to narrate(naturally), and April FINALLY showed back up, if not for just a few seconds.
i think i'll call that dude "Superman" instead of "Silver Sentry" though.

i agree that all of the episodes surpassed this one

ive never seen the a turtles episode this bad, not even the old ones

If you consider Volume 4 old, then yes.

I fail to see what is so bad about this episode... it wasn't the best, but it still beats anything out of the old cartoon.

what comic book was silver century in?

heh, I think the only part I truly liked was the practice session, and the three turtles did it, but Mike was just sitting back drawing, and Splinter nails him with the doomstick.... :D

Poor episode. That's all I can say.

i feel bad for watching this episode. i wish it would havenever aired. sorta turns me against the turtles in a way

Oh, one comment, I love that kick Splinter was teaching them...

When Mike decided to get back to Ninjutsu ways again, I was happy... :D

april just helped mikey with his costume

Actually, I think the Bugman episode were better TMNT/superhero crossovers, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this episode. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

i think the 'shellavator' will come into play next week

and maybe that dude with the glowing sword too!
