Pretty cool. Didn't Leo say that line in a video at the Mutation in Progress? I thought I read it somewhere someone was describing it like this:

Leo: Halt villian!

Leo: We're heroes. That's what heroes do.

That's true, but on the shirt we don't have context for the line.

What are they doing that heroes do?

For a minute, I thought the shirt was making a subtle little musical reference:

i like the image- but agree with some that the tag-line is a little goofy... unfortunately they arent selling it in women's cut/style :( grrrr... probably just going to pass for now.

If you saw the clip, it makes total sense and fits very well. While the tagline might not seem all that great yet, it'll all come together once the show starts airing.

Still stupid. This would have been a no-brainer buy if they just used the logo.

I really don't get how people can let a silly thing like that ruin the value of a cool shirt.
I could understand the ones in Wal-mart with already tiresome recycled art and bad text (Ninjas Do It With Stars!) but c'mon...

It's just redundant, saying heroes twice on the shirt. Plus it's totally out of context, and there's no reason they couldn't have just slapped their "TMNT" logo on it and been done. At the very least, they should have made the adult version without the tagline and kept that "we are heroes" crap on the youth one.

Nah. It's from a really funny moment in the show where Leo's trying to explain why he's using corny dialog like, "Halt, evildoer!" after Raphael makes fun of him for saying stupid stuff like that.

I like the line not as a catchphrase or on a t-shirt but I wouldn't mind hearing that line, it's cute. I disagree a slogan totally makes a t-shirt lose its appeal. As for the shirt, I mainly don't like it because it's black, I own too many black shirts, can't companies make shirts of other colors?

I love the design. Not so crazy about the slogan, though. It feels too redundant. Or, to use a Pokemon OP, try "We Will Be Heroes" only. At least, then, it doesn't have this arrogance or redundancy. Oh, well, there will always be future shirts.
