KODT TMNT Cover Art issue?

Hey,
I was in my local shop today and saw the comic "Knights of the Dinner Table" and the Feb issue has a Ninja Turtles theme...
http://i39.tinypic.com/14ie4jo.jpg
I was wondering what TMNT fans are doing with this? Is this a cover that would be bought and added to their TMNT Comic collection or is this just a "whatever" cover without anyone giving any thought to it.
I guess that ultimately it is up to the collector as to how far they take their collecting, but just wondering what others think...

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Knights of the Dinner Table?

Samhain 03-18-2012 07:21 PM

Pretty strange artwork.

oldmanwinters 03-18-2012 08:21 PM

Can anyone provide clues as to the content?

Also, cross-dressing April O'Neils frighten me. :tcouch:

I saw this book, opened it up, and put it down immediately. There it will stay.

Ah, my bad then.

The face structure looked a little masculine to me.

Actually, I'd pass on it too even if it was free...

Samhain 03-19-2012 06:10 PM

I just can't understand turning down a free comic book. Maybe that's just me.

Powder 03-20-2012 12:42 AM

Well the art is pretty offensive to the eyes...

Luzmagica 03-20-2012 12:52 AM

....I had read some of those comics ....at begining the style hurts the eyes...tho. in a few time the funnies stories keep you reading until the next !!!:lol::lol:

marcelangelo 03-20-2012 02:15 PM

puh...what kind of kindergarten is this?someone paying an homage to something we all like and most of you insult the product because the style isn't to your liking?...I can't understand people like that..why not give the INTERIOR a chance first?a famouse quote is:don't judge a book by it's cover...maybe it's the most hillarious piece of comic book art you have ever experienced?AND it even includes a tip to the hat to the turtles?...

I dunno...I got enough junk as it is, and usually, free doesn't indicate quality.

It's always nice to have something to read in the bathroom.;)

Plus, if you ever run out of toilet paper...
