We see two different designs for the Foot Clan soldiers. I will assume there are different types like in the video games and in the 2003 cartoon among others just as it seems in the image?

No. Not like the video games.

And #10 will be the third issue in a row we've seen the two different types of Foot Soldiers... where have you been?

I do like all of the new designs. High levels of badassery.

That would be great but probably another ten days. That is what sucks about comics. One every 30 days instead of 7 like for an episode on television. I am curious how the Foot divisons are this time. By weapon or a hiarchy?:shifty:

I wonder which type of Foot is the higher rank? The classic Mirage Foot or the Foot that look as if they're only a step away from donning Shredder armor?

I think training to become Elite guards is more likely.

Not until I see a yellow foot soldier carrying an oversized boomerang.

Pertaining to... ? Are you comparing the IDW Foot to Mirage Foot?

In Mirage the normal "ninja-looking" Foot were common Foot soldiers, while the Shredder-looking ones with the large, round hats were members of the higher-ranking Shredder Elite Guard, and later the spindly ones with straw hats wer eFoot mystics, a separate rank.

I'm talking about the two different uniforms the Foot Ninja have been wearing in the current IDW comic, like the ones posted in the preview image in this very topic...

Didnt Shredder look like a Mirage Foot Ninja in Leonardo Micro?

i'm guessing hierarchy... like different ranks of foot ninjas.
the sleeveless ninja look meaner and more skilled. i'm assuming they're of higher rank.

Surprised no one's mentioning how awesome Karai looks in this panel. That outfits quite nice, I especially like the red wrap around her entire midsection. Though I will say her body looks a little stretched.

What? There is absolutely no indication that that guy is the Shredder.

but pure speculation says it's Shredder.

I'd actually be really excited to see an IDW Tatsu.

same here... i'm sure he'd be as much of a threat as Karai in IDW. Or maybe... Tatsu IS Karai's Daddy and Shredder's son..??!???!?!?! DUN DUN DUN!!!! Family tree completed!

Shredder's "son" is one of those "lost tales" from Berger's Turtle's Letters that piqued my interest like no other back in the day.

Huh, #9 came out a week ago. Issue #10 will be out in a few weeks. You're late. It's not too early to talk about it.

You're not alone, brother. Tatsu is a mad underappreciated character. He belongs in more than one universe. Gets my vote.

Yea... i think he's underappreciated too. Tatsu is such an awesome character (why the heck is he so loyal to the shredder? fear?). i wish they would explore that.

I'm really excited for #10. I read Leo and #9 then wanted more. The left hanging feeling gets to you. Well it gets to me at least. I guess that is one thing this sereis is doing well, it leaves me wanting to come back month after month.

I was thinking this too and I'm glad a lot of people here seem to agree.

I wonder if we'll see Hun, Tatsu, and Khan all working for the Shredder, along with Karai and the eventual Bebop and Rocksteady being mutated by the Foot. Then later on Rahzar and Tokka.

It'd be like all of Shredder's henchmen all together for the first time.

I think that would be really cool. So far this ultimate universe concept has fallen flat... That'd be a good way to fix things.

Cubed, I'd have to agree with you. I would be down for seeing the different henchmen Shredder has had working for this Shredder running different aspects of his empire in IDW.

I think it will be cool to see how Krang goes about losing Splinter, how he will react towards Baxter and if they will try and use Hob instead... All i know is too much suspense.

that would make this Shredder's Foot the best in any incarnation. I have to admit that reading that comment was like "ah... ahhh.... ahhhhh.... AHHHHH..." in amusement.:D

Τhis will never happen. Shredder has different henchmen in evry universe.
