so why could it only be splinter is mutated frm a human martial arts master?

how abt the idea of all the turtles r mutated frm ordinary teen brothers?

ahem, so the whole story begins with 4 good brothers coming home frm school one day. they went to some abundant garbage ground or something to fool around as usual, just like all the teen kids...but not until they found this unconscious giant rat in that sewer with some unique green ooze stuck all over his body... which changed their life once for good...blah blah blah...

what do u think?

So human kids touching a mutant rat turns them into mutant Turtles? I'd rather Michael Bay have them arrive on a flying saucer (which probably won't happen, but compared to Mr. Turtle's idea, it's way better).

I think somebody need stronger meds. I dunno if it's Mr. Turtle, to better make some semblance of sense, or me, in order to tolerate him.

I think this idea is a very bad fan fiction plot. I've seen fan fics where the Turtles are turned into humans, and most of them are pretty bad. There are a few good fics like this, but not many.

And zkarlette, I definitely remember Dinosaucers. My bro and I used to watch it all the time.

This almost happened... In the new book, they WERE human brothers before they were decapitated. Granted, they weren't teenagers but still

There's a comic series out called "Jurassic Strike Force 5" that reminds me of Dino-Saucers. :D

^ no it wouldn't but they touched the ooze which turned them into turtles

Are there Turtles anywhere? Even the Fred Wolf mutagen had the whole "cause whatever touched it to take on the form of whatever animal they had most recently been in contact with" caveat. If they touched a rat mutant then you'd think they'd become a rat mutant, too.

Then again, people (read Winters and I in our commentaries) have wondered why Yoshi became a rat in the FW series, when it shows he had recently contacted the Turtles pre-mutation. Maybe it's the rat hair on his robes... :P

I'm sorry, but this is a dumb idea. Why would you want them to be humans who mutate into turtles in the first place?
