Nice! It's awesome to see these Nick TMNT customs. The repaint work I've seen so far just goes to show how good these figures can be, given the right attention.
good work. i like it. hope some repaint of the turtles come soon i cant wait to do some repaint my self.we have good times to come with the new turtles and new customs and i love the new figures the only down hill is that only the turtles does get proper articulation but i love the sculpt to now. keep them coming
thanks yall.
i intended on getting 2 kraangs and one don only to paint on the one kraang but now. im kinda hooked and need all of the toys :) i might add just some details to Don, hes pretty Badass right out of the box. maybe just some detail on the weopons and some washes on the bandages and skin :) |
Looks great man!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha! I saw this on Toyark! Nice job!
Pretty damn cool, dude.
Outstanding paintwork, the darker color scheme really brings the character to life!
Very good job! Love it
thanks for the kind words yall. he was fun to paint, cant wait for the show to see what he really looks like :)
Stellar paint job ! The metallic paint really brings it to life.
without started a new thread,
touched up the figs :) http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...toms/tmnt2.jpg |
Love the details you added to the weapons...
thanks, subtle but effective :)
I can't stop looking at the re-paint Turtles! I want mine to look like that!
Great customs ersico!paint does do wonders.:)
I really hope Playmates releases another Kraang with the translucent blue body shells that seem to be in the show. It's clear their figure was made off of early promo art. You did a nice job of replicating it as best as possible, but the figure really needs a new sculpt entirely.
Some translucent blue plastic and articulation would be a good start, Playmates! |
Sweet work!
Thanks for the before and after shots. ~S~ |

its easy to stuff the tentacles behind and inside of the brain while in the suit to hide them

my pleasure, when i get hom,e ill take my kraang and fold him up and snap some pics...
oh and he isnt a solid ball, his underside is concave. almost made so it could be a semi-facehugger :) |
More great repaints
These are all awesome! Did you add elbow/knee articulation to the newer exosuit or did you just straighten the limbs? Love your Turtle repaints too.

:teek: Metalhead is sick. Awesome job dude.
thanks so very much :)
Lovin' all your repaints... Metalhead looks awesome! Also, if you don't mind me asking, what method did you use to add articulation to the Kraang figure?
thanks :)
im using some small revoltech joints :) got them off ebay |
big fan... wish i had that metalhead repaint :) actually i wish i had all of them!
love the copper-toned shell, great choice |
thanks so much!
everything can be had :) im not sure what prices are for customs here so i would need some help with that as i do glyos and other customs for commission but these can be had :) also. i should note, the thighs, where the ball joint is has some paint rub. not sure if thats normal or easily avoided... to me thats the only issue but since its all dark, not very noticable unless you look for it. |
Metalhead rocks man! i bow before u
