What is everyones Favorite theme song?

topics always seem to repeat themselves... I made a topic on this once and I still pick the same, theme #1's music ruled.

gotta admit it's classic. I like the new one though. I did not lie AT ALL the firat one recorded for the new show(the one which was on the Fox Box CD). Sounded like a power rangers song. Thankfully it got changed. :lol:

I think the new one is too... um, crap. 'turtles count it off', yeah, whatever. It has grown on me since the start though cos i used to really hate it, now its not so bad :)

:lol: yeah, I felt the same way BUT it is a lot better than the originally recorded song.

the new one just gets stuck in yur head..the old onez are juss sooo great! Teenage mutant ninja turtles...shredder taught them to be ninja team..lol i'll stop.

New show is better in every other way, but the theme song of the old cartoon is a classic.

I agree with Karpo. The new theme is better in my opinion but I also really like the old one! They are both masterpieces! GO NINJA GO NINJA GO!

Sorry but no matter how much I love the new show, its theme song really sucks... :lol:
The first original theme song is the best ever made in my opinion.

Also there were 3 old cartoon themes but, the 3rd one was really terrible so there is not use putting it there.

better in every other way for comic fans, for people who were more into some of the other universes could disagree.

There was old cartoon theme #2? I didn't think there was more than one theme for it...

yeah it started in season 8. It wasn't that bad but the action in the background was pretty bad. It had some stuff from the 1st movie and some random footage from season 8. Lyrics were pretty much the same except the cut some stuff out and instead of "When the evil Shredder attacks, these turtle boys don't cut 'em no slack" they changed it to "When the evil Shredder attacks, these turtles fight back."

Show me this third theme and I'll believe you.

Anyway, I guess I'm a minority; the Red Sky theme is my favorite.

Better for the fans who like serious TMNT with deep story telling. Maybe not to those who like TMNT as a plain comedy.

Why do you have to argue about this in almost every thread? Can't you accept the fact that not everyone agrees with you? I don't even see why you thought this reply was necessary in the first place. Everyone already knows your opinion about the old and new cartoons, so they don't need it repeated in almost every thread.

Uum, Krang the old show WAS a comedy-show, Karpo wasn't arguing or anything.

I know, but I'm sick of seeing people implying that the Mirage/new cartoon universe is "better" than the old cartoon universe. It's a matter of opinion which one is better, not a fact.

And yes it is a matter of opinion, and If you prefer deep story telling and and state-of-the-art animation over comedy, then you will like new show better. That all I said. We can't talk about the faults of old TMNT, I understand that, But now I feel this going to far If I can't say why I like new show better.

I didn't say you were arguing by mentioning that it's a comedy, it's how you worded it to make it sound like it is an inferior show, which it isn't.No, it's fine with me if you say why you like the new show better, but when you say the "new show is better in every other way" instead of saying that you like it better, that's what I don't want to see posted here.

I think the Fox box theme was the BEST TMNT theme ever and the current new cartoon theme is the worst. The others are somewhere in the middle.

That made absolutely no sense. You say the new theme is the worst theme ever and then you say it's the best theme ever.

By Fox Box theme I think he meant the one from the Toys R Us Fox Box CD (which thankfully wasn't used for the show)... But to each his own :lol:

I was wondering. I have been looking for their 2nd cartoon theme (Red Sky Series) forever. I have the one that was converted from .rm, but I was wondering, does anyone have a better quality version. Also, if anyone has a vhs of an episode with that theme, you could easily cap it onto your computer. Any and all help is much appreciated.
