TMNT pictures from when you were a kid.

I wasn't sure if there was a thread like this yet... I found some old pictures of me back when I was a kid and thought they would be cool to share!

TMNT_Guy 07-13-2012 06:44 PM

TWO Technodromes?!? Boy, were you lucky! I would've had to share.

OPTICS 07-13-2012 06:53 PM

Mullet!!

I'll have to check to see if I have any childhood photos with TMNT toys.

Zulithe 07-13-2012 06:56 PM

about to say the same thing :P

Two technodromes! Their powers combined... must be unstoppable!

twopinacoladas 07-14-2012 01:13 AM

Cool pics :)

Scud 07-14-2012 07:04 AM

Awesome stuff. My parents rarely took photos unless it was during a vacation. And most of the Christmas time ones, where I actually got turtles stuff, came out dark and blurry.

Veedubguy83 07-15-2012 05:11 PM

Somebody else has to have some older pictures??? Lets see 'em!

Redrumh2o 07-15-2012 05:15 PM

I do, ill try to find them next time I am at my parents

1988 07-15-2012 06:17 PM

I remember my sewer playset and technodrome moments...best times of my childhood...great pics by the way, nice to know other kids had similar experiences

Doomsdayninja 07-15-2012 06:59 PM

I remember playing with my Movie Star turtles in a Turtle van on my TMNT bedspread...good times...good times.

Veedubguy83 07-15-2012 08:27 PM

The TMNT years were some of my most memorable Christmases... Nothing will ever compare to unwrapping the Technodrome on Christmas morning... Except maybe that new Sewer playset... haha

TheCanadiandrome 07-16-2012 03:22 PM

Hopefully some more of you can find some old pictures!

Doomsword 07-16-2012 06:51 PM

Great pic's Veedubguy83. It won't be soon, but I will definitely contribute to this thread once I get a chance to go through some old photos.

Oh man that decor screams '80s!

Here's me at Pizza Hut. I think I was picking up the Out Of Their Shells tape. That haircut is embarrassing.

lol, i almost got teary eyed looking at those, brought back some great memories from being that age. i was born in '81 so i probably looked about the same opening some of those toys on christmas. great share!

Veedubguy83 02-10-2013 12:40 PM

Haha thanks! I was born in 83, so I was about 5 when the toys were coming out, I was actually into Ghostbusters first, I had all those toys when I was 3-4 years old haha.

Nice pics guys! mousesi2k, loving that Party Wagon and Blimp in the pack! Great stuff!!!

Zulithe 02-11-2013 01:11 PM

Thanks for the pics guys... I might not have any of my own (MAYBE some can be unarchived someday but that won't be easy... distance, etc.) but just seeing your pics reminds me so much of my own experience :D

We'd have had some fun playing turtles together :P

It's really blurry of course, and would probably be easier to watch on a TV, but I recognize a few favorites of mine, including Wacky Action Mike nearly front and center. 'santa' always had a couple unwrapped toys, mixed in with the wrapped ones. i can guarantee probably 95% of what is there, wrapped and unwrapped was all turtles.

And of course, 7-year old me excited for all the Turtles

My profile picture is my collection as a child but sadly I don't have any of it anymore.

OrokuYoshiFilms 07-10-2014 08:25 AM

Found a few more... wish I knew where this stuff was.

The kid wearing the shirt is actually one of my best friends, not me. The sleeping cat isn't from my childhood, but that photo is about 8 years old. And the final one is of me with my cat and TMNT toys. My dad built me a wrestling ring, which I used to stage all kinds of tag team tournaments (notice the Sumos in there...).
