How do you feel about Dimension X returning?
Its been confirmed the Kraang aliens are indeed from Dimension X.
I wonder if this will bring forth any other familiar characters, like Lord Krang himself, General Traag and the Rock Soldiers...or maybe even Cudley and other Archie characters. If we get the Triceratons and Fugitoid it wouldn't surprise me if they say that D'hoonib and the Triceraton homeworlds are in Dimension X. |
I would love to see the Triceratons back.
|
I think it's cool. I'm loving everything Nick has shown us thus far, so why not bring back Dimension X? I wouldn't mind seeing the rock soldiers return, either.
|
Do we even know for sure if the Dimension X is coming back? The bio for the Kraang on Playmates site seems to be confused....
|
It doesn't bother me. I don't know when it comes to TMNT shows I'm more forgiving then I am with comics and toys. So if they want to bring it back more power to them. Let us hope they bring something fresh with it though.

Dimension X and Traag are confirmed here. |

Not a big deal to me really...wanna see how it's handled. Is every change or hold over gonna be thread fodder? |
I have to admit, I'd love to see the Neutrinos brought back!
|
Dimension x exists in evry version of tmnt that Krang exists. (1987, idw and now this) . But we dont know yet if these Kraang aliens will be from dimension x or if it they are a totaly different alien race. Will General Traag be the leader of the rock solidiers like he was in the 87 cartoon?
|
Lots of fun possibilities, so why not? As long as its utilized in a creative way, bring on Dimension X.

As for the topic at hand, I pretty well agree with everyone, except for that nonsense Jephael was on about. Then again, maybe Nick's Neutrinos wouldn't be lame and stupid. I feel we'd be better off not knowing. |
Other dimension, or a far away planet. really don't care that much about it.

Aparentley, the Kraang are from the future too IIRC
|
Do timelines matter in a separate dimension? How's that even work?
|
I think it was mentioned during the What The Shell Podcast report of the London Expo.
Possible Time Travel should be fun. I like that the TMNT can be taken from wherever the comfort-zone and be placed elsewhere for awesome adventures. |
I love Ninja Turtles because of the '87 series so I welcome most anything that is not Zack,Carter,or Dregg!Dimenion X is one of the biggest potential not from the Mirage stuff. It is so much to explore whether its a whole dimension or galaxy so kudos to to Nick for further definig Dimension X. I do hope the Krang theory is true and its great to see Tragg even more!

General Traag is returning, but he is a 17 foot monster who vomits lava. It said this in an article, it was posted in another thread
|
I'm more excited that the article that mentions General Traag mentions they are bringing back The Rat King.
|
Now that we have the Kraang, Traag, and Dimension X, I would like to see later on perhaps the blueprints and construction of the Technodrome (or some other similar vehicle that functions like the Technodrome).
This series definitely has so much potential with all of these familiar faces that they are bringing back, that it will ultimately come down to the plots and references. |

Ah, the possibilities.

I don't mind it. Could be interesting if it's used for something other then a convenient place to pull a villain out of nowhere when they're low on ideas. I'd like to see this show implement story arcs and if done properly DX could be a neat place that we don't get to see too often. Keep it mysterious.

And he looks very unsettling.... |
You know I wonder if there will be a few episodes set in Dimension X. I have a feeling it will be different then the OT.
|
I have a feeling this show is going the "The Batman" cartoon route, where it's trying to differentiate itself from the other incarnations. Now this worked for and against the show. Some designs were awesome and unique takes while other ones just seemed different for difference sake and their very divisive and hit or miss. The show was following up BTAS which had some definite versions of many characters though. This show doesn't really fall in that category, while 2k3 has definite versions of many characters the OT does not, it has a wacky fun interpretation but many of those characters could've been reinvented just by taking them seriously, no need to go to extreme re-designs. So I'm feeling a little indifferent about it, I'm glad they're trying different stuff but I thought they could've remained more true to the characters and still be different.
|
I'm happy about it. Gives us lots of character possibilities.
|
i'm happy abt the change too but its just he looks too disturbing.
|
The Rat King looks sorta undead. Maybe he died in the sewers and the mutagen reanimated him? Though that might be creepier than the show wants to do.:twink:

he does look like a dead man.

I don't really want Dregg back, or if they do bring him back he's only around for a couple of episodes |
Doesn't make much of difference really. Instead of transmating to a planet in another galaxy they'll open a portal to a planet in another dimension. It could even be like Archie were Dimension-X seems like a coloquial name for a region of space were you can just fly through with a space ship.
What's perhaps more important is the inhabitants. Will it just be rock soldiers and maybe other things culled from the Fred Wolf show or will they have Triceratons and the Federats also? Quote:
In the end the Technodrome works best as a cool looking hideout and should be used as a death machine sparingly. |
I like the return of Dimension X because it opens up more possibility for OT Krang to come back.
