Weirdo-Warrior's collection

Hello everybody, here's some pics of my loose TMNT collection. I will eventually take more pics at groups of figures or actions scenes, for the moment I re-post those from the "toys action scenes/shots" thread.

Nice collection, Weirdo-Warrior!

I really like the glass case that you have all your figures in; where did you get it?

TheCanadiandrome 08-21-2012 06:27 PM

I bought it at IKEA, the famous Swedish furniture chainstore, they have good quality glass cases for very affordable prices. I bought there another larger one where I keep my Transformers and MOTU, I'll eventually post some pics of it too.

Awesome collection! Great cabinets to display all of those.

Doomsword 09-01-2012 01:43 PM
Awesome TMNT collection. The figures look great in those cases. Always good to see some MOTU love. That's an impressive vintage collection, I collect MOTU as well, but only the Classics line. I have to restrain myself from starting a vintage collection of them.

Archon_Turtle 09-01-2012 03:44 PM
did you bolt those doors on a book case? I've got a bunch of bookcases that I'd like to put doors on.

Yes, I did. The MOTU and Transformers figures are inside a classic "Billy" book case from IKEA. They also sell glass doors to add them and turn the simple book case into a display window. Very practicle! :tcool:

Weirdo-Warrior 09-02-2012 03:08 PM
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments! :tgrin:

Well, vintage MOTU figures are actually quite cheap if you want to collect them loose. There's just a bunch of them fetching high prices. :twink:

Thanks! :tcool:
Indeed it took a lot of time: starting with the first MOTU figures in 1983 and down to this week with the very latest TMNT additions, not less than 29 years to get all this stuff together :tsweatdr:

And just wait to see my Star Wars, Transformers and G.I. Joe :twink:
