Genghis frog bagged grenades 1100$??

saw the genghis frog with bagged grenades on myteefinestuff for $1100? overpriced or is it really that rare? how many MOC exist?

well I would pay it if it was the only one in existence...but if there are 2-3 others no way would I pay that....so I am asking, has anyone seen others?

I was thinking that..could you not just take a normal genghis frog, make an incision along the card, take out the grenades and put them into a plastic bag and slide it back in....not possible?

anyway why the hell does the seller value this at $1100

Myteefinestuff is way ahead of the times... in terms of prices. You see a slashed out price and think its a great discount- when it only turns out to be a dollar off. This site is absolutely the last resort for buying new stuff, and that is if somehow all of my figures got destroyed and the only place to buy that item is there.

The value of a collectible is individually, yes. The value is what a collector is willing to pay. I have met a few members here which "like" Purple Super Shredder MOC, what makes it valuable, that is what I could see in the discussions. That is why I say he is, even if some does not like it.

MTF is good for seeing how many variations of figures there are and he's usually got any figure you want, but his prices are steep. Far too often his prices are beyond my wallets threshold... The Mutant Masters still taunt me to this day... Someday. Someday...

I did...he said it was based on rareness...there is an even rarer yellow belt bagged grenades version too...I can only imagine the price

IMO the genghis frog w black belt on and bagged grenades is as rare as metalhead without yellow burst,

Also I do have a genghis frog w green belt not on and bagged grenades, only one I have ever seen not to say there isnt another I just havent seen one before, so very rare

As for the price like someone said its what your willing to pay and how bad you want or need the item, rare tmnt is hard to find

So I had a ton of figures as a kid and spent countless hours playing with them, but unfortunately most were sold. Recently I've been trying to buy some of the ones I used to have. I recently came across this and can't find any others with the green jacket. I know it's in rough shape, but I only paid a few bucks. I just wondered if any of you had any info on it.

That looks like yellowing/sun damage to me. If it was a variant, I believe the whole shirt (sleeves included) would be green, not just the hard plastic part that typically yellows easiest. Usually when blue plastic yellows, it turns green (I've wound up with some green Cobra Commanders and Stardusters that way)

Yeah, the yellowing process is sometimes made by direct sunlight and sometimes by chemical reactions between other plastics while they break down over time. Many times these chemical reactions result in an even discoloring of the plastic

$1,100 is insane for that Ghengis Frog but hey, he is free to set his price wherever and if someone has that kind of money to burn, that's their choice too.

But I do have to say Myteefinestuff has some great prices on a lot of basic accessories/weapons/etc. I was able to finish out my Scumbug, Muckman and a couple Slashes I have for pretty darn cheap!
