Someone may have posted this here before, but just in case...the latest(i think) issue of Toyfare has a small article, stating that Mirage has renewed the toy license with Playmates! I hope they do put out some figures, but I'd really like to keep it to the comic...
I'd love to see a new batch of TMNT action figs! I just recently won a Shoot the Curl Don action figure from ebay, MIP! Only six dollars with s/h. Whatta deal! It's my first TMNT action fig since I was in third grade. :goofygri:
I also would love to see new TMNT figures! Ecspecially if they are strictly based on the new comics. The only two TMNT figures I own is a NM Splinter and a Jump Attack Jujitsu Raph.
oh man u are so missin out Mike! and i hope they stick to the comics cause like i like the way the new turtles look and all, and i like the fact that they have like not kept them the same age and moved them up and made Casey and April mariied and kids! its awesome
Where do you get the comics anyhow? I've seen TMNT figures in my area and most of those are pretty lame. But no comics.
If you can't find the comics in a local comic store, then your best bet would be to order from Mirage directly. Just go to the official website, click on the "Buy Stuff" link, and then look at the new Mirage comics to order. Their shipping is decent, so you might want to give it a try.
I'm enjoying the new comic, too. At first, I was kinda upset that the turtles were in their thirties, but the storyline is pretty interesting and the personalities haven't changed a bit. I think Peter Laird's doing an excellent job  |
Thanks. I'll look into that when I have some more time.
ya and when they come out, i'm not gonna open them out of their packages
personally the toys come first to me, then the cartoon, then the comic. I guess memories beat anything. Actually I think the figures and the cartoon sort of tie
Paul Really love the figures... |
I agree with PWDESAI
I have *I THINK* the original comic, but its all messed up it goes from chapter 2 to chapter 5 or something :goofygri: and it came with the read along cassette taper (which I lost :P :goofygri: ) but yea I duno which comic it is. Im pretty sure its #1 cuz it has the whole story how they came about, then skips to the chapter where the neutrinos come in :goofygri: i'm sorry if i dont make sense i'm really tired :P PLEASE FORGIVE ME! :( |

lucky me if i get to see any of those comics and toys, where i am, u don't see any products of anything unless its in his most popular time, i haven't seen a tmnt toy in years, is almost impossible to find a comic in here, not spider-man, not tmnt, not anything :(

*Walks over to Bowser and puts his hand on his head*
It'll be allright son, just go to the eiffle tower, and take a step off of it. that fixes ALOT of problems  |

 youll see me but I wont see you
Then I'll go first!
*jumps off the tower holding an umbrealla* Now why'd I do that? I'm scared of heights! *slowly floats down towards the ground* |
LMAO!
*cough* mary poppins *cough*  |
 That's where I got my inspiration from!
*lands softly on the floor below* Now, the real question remains unanswered...how in the world did I end up in France? |
I dunno maybe there is some kind of 10 second time travel :-?
Now that's just weird...I've heard of turtles in time, but this is ridiculous!
*runs off* |
u came flying just like mary popins :D
im looking forward to the porcelain figures!!!
Me too! If I ever get enough money to buy one, that is...
Not me. I have enough cold-cast porcelain figures. I'd rather spend the $400 on comics, toys, posters, clothes...
Really? I don't have any...maybe that's why I want to get a statue so badly...
how much does it cost?
I heard that it's going to be between $100 to $150. Not really pocket change...
i dunno, but i think thats too much money for a porcelain figure O.o, unless, it is for me  ......
Not really. I have a pair of cold cast porcelain dragons that cost me $800. They're exquisite! Of course, they're much larger and more complicated than the Leo statue. It also depends on where they're going to be manufactured. Labor is dirt cheap in some countries.
Sweet mother of pearl! $800?! Wow...I would certainly hope that the figures are top quality if you're paying that much for them. Egads...
They're gorgeous. I don't collect Enchantica any more though. The company was bought by Royal Dalton, and the founding artist left the company...quality and design just isn't the same any more. *sigh*
Ooh...do you have any pics of these figures? I'm rather curious as to how they look...
I don't have a picture of that particular set online, but I do have some of another piece called "Infernos". Please note, the color in the pic is somewhat faded looking.
http://raindragonjewelry.homestead.c.../infernos2.jpg And see this for a detail shot: http://raindragonjewelry.homestead.c.../infernos6.jpg |
Woah...that's an awesome figure...there's a lot of detail on it. Now I see why you'd be willing to spend so much money on those figures. Hmm...being a fellow dragon lover, I wouldn't mind having something like that at all. Of course, I'm barely able to afford the Leo statue, so something like those dragons will have to wait for a while. :goofygri:
yeah... I have seen some resin cast model horses... one model horse, go for $800 too. *sai* O course, I am too poor to afford such things like that (unless I figure out how to make em myself!) Yeah... doesn't have the same effect though... :\
that figure is awesome!!!!! and to back track a couple of posts, nowadays, i'm more of a collector. i'd rather keep them up on display than playing with them.
