What if one of the TMNT was turned into a woman?

What if one of the Guys was turned into a woman? You know they go up a guy then some how (mystic, scentific, plot hole) get turned into a woman, what do you think would happen? Which of the 4 do you think it shoul happen to, which of the 4 would best be able to adapt to the new body? Hpw would the others react? And probly most important/disturbing would she allow her self to become pregnat with one of the others child/children to perpetuate the species (as it were)?

Your telling me this question has never occured to anyone else? I admit the idea is a bit odd, but it does play to the idea of them being alone in the world. I'm not sure how many times in how many diffrent universe the concept of them not having children has been brought up. And here we have the solution to the question, just in an odd form. Keeping the dynamic with out detracing from the main 4 by adding females. This also opens up all the new questions of how someone with little female interaction most of there lives was suddly one, and that effects them. And it brings in the opion of bring April to a whole new level just trying to help the turtle deal with female sides they have no idea how to deal with.

You want to think this is an odd topic fine, you think its stupid again its your right, but try to kep an open mind and leave constuctive ideas not just negative ones

The original question was what if one of the "TMNT turned woman". Now "what if there was a female turtle" is a diffrent question. It has been done twice, in archie and in Next mutation, I don't think it's that good idea. Goes against one of the main themes in TMNT.

Karpo the question hasn't changed, its still What if one of the guys was turned into a woman, that may not by how you interprted the second post but thats what it still says. One of the 4 becomes a woman, thus not really changing the dynamic of the team.

So either ansewer the question or leave a constuctive opinion, stop picking at the concept

Nah, I don't tend to think of men being transformed into women, or women being transformed into men. If they were going from boy to man, or girl to woman, (or vice versa) yea I thought of that, but I dont usually think of sex changes :wink: :P

But if I WAS thinking of it, I could only see Don turning into a woman :lol: He's halfway there :goofygri:

There's actually been a story like this written called "Survival on the Species", in which Michaelangelo is the one whose gender is switched. It's on fanfiction.net if ya want to check it out.

Ok, If that would ever happen, Don would do everything to reverse the change. And no, they wouldn't have children, they are brothers.

But they could, In next mutation their not biological brothers, just figuritive (not sure about the other TMNT realities), so they could.

Thats true, in old cartoon and next mutation the TMNT aren't brothers but friends. Not sure about archie but in original TMNT and new show they are, So I guess it depends on the universe...

In Next Mutation, the stupid writers had to say they wern't genetic brothers because Venus came from the other side of the world. Just another reason that show sucked.

Interesting topic... I once saw a fan art of the "guy" as "girls" it was pretty interesting actually. I'd have to say if any of them was a girl then it would either be Don or Mike. I really can't see Leo or Raph that way they are way to how do I say this... macho I guess but I guess any of them could be girls.

It be funny if it was like Quarry and somehow (not gonna happen because they were always turtles) one of the turtles get put into a machine that turns them human and ends up as a girl. Or the whole Ranma curse thing...

I think we've learned from Venus that TMNT really shouldn't have girl turtles but it could work if it was done well.

An alternate universe would be interesting. Makes you wonder what TMNT-dom would have been like if instead of 4 ninja brothers we'd have gotten 4 ninja sisters! :) Remind's me of Amandatello's Kung Fu Turtles (everybody loves Kung Fu fighting!). :lol: Calio Sidhe also drew a fantastic photo of this idea a while back. It was too cute. :D

Also, I'm tired of hearing all those "he's gay/fruity" comments. The guys would NEVER be gay! Just because Don got the bad coloring done on his mask (which kinda looked a little pinkish) does not mean he's gay. I find comments like this insulting. Respect our Turtles!

Jeese! I agree with you Sister Friend. Donny's not Gay for cripes sake! And stop with the Jerry Falwell quality accusations of Donny based on the fact he wears a purple mask. I mean just think of it this way. Donny is the geek of the group and he's more interested in this science and inventing thing. That is his first love. Besides, Donny might not have the self esteem to think a girl could ever fall for a guy like him even if there was a lovely little female turtle out there. I'm going to be exploring this idea in my Turtles RPG soon.

Sides, being turned into a female doesn't always equal gayness. Ranma sure wasn't either! Or that Quarry monster from the new show (Human woman who had been turned into a guy monster). Yeah.... :wink:

I just want to point out that a)when a guy wears purple or pink it does not make him gay, in fact, those shades were worn by royalty in ancient times and were a sign of nobility in medeavil europe due to the fact that those colors were hard to make so if you could affor to wear them, you were thought to have money, and also I really resent the "respect our turtles" commnet cause there is nothing wrong with being gay, and if one of the turtles did in fact, come out, whats wrong with that? They are still our turtles, and if anything, it would only add to the respect i hold for the turtle-boys and their wondeful creators.

Well I know for a fact this perception of purple being a gay color didn't start until Jerry Falwell labeled the Teletubbie Tinky Winky gay because of his little red satchel and the fact he was purple. Why in my day guys wore purple without being labeled gay. I bet given time, Donny would work up enough self esteem to admit his love for a cute little turtle lady who, while probably not as intelligent as him, shared his enthusiasm for science and learning.

People can we get off the gay thing, And again its just a question of what would happen if one was turned into a woman what would happen?

For me I'd say Raph might be the most interesting as a woman, and maybe the best suit to deal with it. Maybe its selctive memory, but he always seems to be the one to bring up the fact that they are alone, and he is the one who more often than not ends up with a girl friend. I think he may have a little more insight than the other (but only a little). Honestly I can't explain why I think Raph would handle is best, its just a feeling I have. I think the only way to explain it is Raphs always looking for a fight, and never backs down, and if he looked at becomeing a woman as a challenge, well force himself to make it work for him. And he does kinda strike me as the best with kids (again hard to explain given his anger, but Yoshi did show us he could over come it a bit)

Hmm... not sure if I agree that Raph would take it all that well. I'm reminded of an issue of "Guy Gardner: Warrior" where one of Guy's enemies decided to mess with his head by turning him into a woman. He didn't take it all that well. He and Raph have a pretty similar personality, so I think Raph would have a pretty similar reaction.

That's exactally what I'm saying. There's nothing wrong with the color's one chooses to wear. I'm merely pointing out that some people consider certain colors, like shades of Pink and Purple fruity. They most certainly are not IMO. When I said 'bad' coloring, I was refering to how they did not color Don's mask in his correct color. I wasn't saying those colors were bad, nor was I saying anything negative about gays. You thought I meant something else when I wasn't, I should have been more clear. But anyway this is off topic.

Getting back to the question, I'll pretend it's some alternate universe... my answer, the Turtles would regard the changed individual as a sister.

as for turtles turning into a woman..... well, parakeets will assume the missing geneder, if say, you have two budgees, and they are both guys, one will act as a girl, I am not sure about what the benifit here is, I am not an evolutionary biologist, I suspect it's cause they would go insane in captifity otherwise...
However, I don't think turtles do that
and thus I can't see why this would happen
though I suppose if it DID happen, I think Leo would handle it best, Raph would be like a PMS avanger all the time, I think Mikey would be the funniest as a girl "Hey! Boobies! Radical!" but I think Leo is the most philosphical, and most inclined to interprete things and changes as fate and as transcendance, so I think he would accept it best of all of them.

No I think Don would take it best. He'd probably be facinated by the change and wonder how the heck it happened.

In one respect... but then he would become terribly embarrassed afterwards.

(For some durn reason, now I recall this one "making fun of mary sue fics" fanfic where Perceptor was turned in a human lady. In short, he wasn't pleased one bit!)
