Nick TMNT 'Turtle Power' Trading card swap shop
 

Hi All.

As i'm sure most of you have seen, Panini in the UK et al have launched a trading card game called TMNT-Turtle Power.

I've started building a collection of swaps already and so will post up what I have as swaps so far and if anyone else wants to join in, please feel free.
I'll keep updating my list of what I have to trade but it would be great to get a swap shop going on these as I won't be the only one with holes in my collection.

So to start the ball rolling here are what i have to swap so far, i've bought a few more packs on the way to work so i'm sure i'll be updating this today:

1-5, 8-10,12-14,18,20,21,23,41,58,113

I'm in the UK and i'm happy to post around the UK.

Anyone interested in TMNT Lamincard Edibas from the 2k3 series for your Turtle Power cards? They are very rare...they seriously are. :) I have a bunch of them!

from buying multiple packs of cards i've now almost got another full base set (Just missing 4/5 cards)
Does anyone want this to buy/trade it'd be a great way to start this collection?
I'm going to continue collecting cards in my hunt for ultimate/special cards so should i get the missing cards will add these also.

Hi guys.

Not to ruin anybodies fun, but if you have intentions of getting all the cards, it's probably not worth swapping base cards.

I was looking at the statistics and by the time you acquire all 40 special cards you will have every base card many many times over, on average 8 times.

Really it should just be special cards that should need to be traded.

On that note I have 6 special cards which I am willing to trade.

These are numbers 64 (Special Donnie), 82 (Special Hachiko), 88 (Special fishface,), 92 (Special Monkey Mutant), and 2 * 95 (Ultimate Leo).

Card 62 has a slight bend in the bottom left hand corner, nothing noticable when it's in the collectors album, but figure I will disclose it now.

I only actually need six more cards myself, and they are 76, 79, 89, 94, 97, 102.

Anybody for a swap? I live in the UK and I am happy to post anywhere in the UK. Also I will throw in any base cards you want for nothing extra, I have at least one doubler of each.

I think most people on the forums are US based, these cards won't be for sale in the US as Panini have confirmed it is a Europe release essentially, so its worth offering near complete and full set base cards as I know there's been more then a few users bemoaning the fact they won't see this over there.
But, at the same time i completely agree that most of us in the UK already have second/third full sets in the hunt for completeness.
And i do need 82 and 95 that you have but don't believe I have anything to offer in return.

Also, the UK has just seen the release of the TMNT comic for kids and in the first issue you get a limited edition card only available in the comic (Essentially its a special/Ultimate release and i think its the image from card 005) and a standard pack of cards too priced £2.99

I never realised the cards werenn't in the US. I have no queue of people to trade with so if you get any cards I need just let me know, I doubt I'll have offloaded these before then, but if I do it will probably be on here, so you'll see.

When was this comic announced? I've not seen it anywhere, it was actually while looking for a turtles comic for my son (and me8) ) I found the cards starter kit, which led to this expensive-but-worth-it adventure.

The comic has literally just come out. I picked it up from WH Smith, comes with a free water pistol too :)

There are 80 base cards
30 special cards
10 ultimate cards
And also there are five different limited edition cards one of which you will get in your album they consist of all four turtles individually and a group card called turtle power which features all four together this is the rarest card in the set!
