TMNT Figure Wish List
 

I'm throwing up a list of characters here—from both the Mirage comics and the new cartoon—that I'd kill to see done up as action figures. I hope a few of you might feel compelled to do likewise and post your own lists.

Okay, in no particular order, here goes:

Cartoon-Style
1. Shredder's Elite Guard ... LOADED with killer weapons!
2. FootTech Ninja - painted “visible” version and clear “invisible” version
3. Baxter Stockman
4. A Purple Dragon or two . . . or three (Probably not highly marketable though.)
5. Oroku Saki
6. Hamato Yoshi (Probably wouldn't stand a chance, due to likely lack of marketability.)
7. All four Turtles in their "Purple Dragon" disguises (They'd be a lot cooler than those goofy “Extreme Sports Turtles”, that's for sure.)

Original Mirage Eastman & Laird-Style (Just for starters)
1. All four Turtles ... all with red bandanas!
2. Master Splinter
3. The Shredder
4. Foot Soldier
5. Shredder's Elite Guard
6. April
7. Casey
8. Karai
9. Triceraton
10. Fugitoid
11. Baxter Stockman
12. Leatherhead
13. All four “Pre-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (with their respective weapons from that time)

I totally agree with your Cartoon style list:
My list is in order of absolute must have, till I still want it if they made it

- Oroku Saki with the katana that was folded over 700 times
- Elite Guard with Axe, double blades and spear
- Foot Tech Ninja with any weapon
- Baxter Stockman with 2 Mousers
- Hamato Yoshi with cage and pet rat
- The Gurdians (and The Utroms in the future)
- Leader of the Purple Dragons with Bo
- Two Ton with bat
- Six pack Mousers
- Angel ( but that probably won't happen, since she appeared only once)

Dang, I forgot all about the mysterious "Guardians". They'd be "Must-Haves" for sure. I didn't list the Utroms since they haven't fully appeared in their alien forms just yet.

A couple of additions to my cartoon character wish-list:
(Each of which, with the sole exception of The Guardians, has not yet *fully* appeared in the cartoon, but are scheduled/rumored to do so.)

1. The Triceratons - BIG and BAD with plenty of cool Triceraton weapons! Hun would look like a Girl Scout next to these beasts.
2. Usagi Yojimbo - (Since he's supposed to appear in the line of action figures as well as the new cartoon, I hope they stay true to Stan Sakai's designs this time around. Almost none of us Usagi fans were overly thrilled with the old TMNT Usagi figure. Even less appealing was the pathetic “Space Usagi” figure.)

I REALLY want the Purple Dragon disguised turtles...that was hilarious.

I wouldn't mind seeing the mutant figs from Notes from the Underground. Everything else mentioned are great ideas too. I think for sure, they will do Baxter, Oroku Saki, Elite guards and foot tech ninjas

First And Foremost, Id love an Angel action figure.
Other than her, I'd love to have Triceratons, Utroms, A Shredder with Removable Helmet, and Claw, Oroku Saki, Baxter, Invisible Foot Elite's (Like a special edition made of clear plastic) And some really good play sets. Someone earlier mentioned Te TMNT Disguised as the Purple Dragon and i'd also love to see that ^^

I have not seen the new show yet so I don't know about that but I would have loved to get and Irma and Howie two-pack in the old line of toys, that would have rocked. It would come with a small piano for Howie and camera and handbag for Irma....who would have also been cool was a channel 6 playset. I imagine that it could work somewhat like the new lair playset, closed it looks like the outside structure of channel 6. and on the inside you get Aprils office, the reception to put Irma and the newsroom for April and Vernon....

It would be great if Playmates and Mirage decided to do a series of highly-detailed figs based on the original comic books. Maybe something along the lines of McFarlane Toys in terms of detail, Marvel Legends in terms of articulation.

A series like that would most likely not be nearly as marketable as the toon-based Turtles, but it would be cool to see nonetheless. Maybe the direct market is where a line such as this would fare best, such as the way the DC Direct and Marvel Select lines have been distributed.

cqb101, 1/6 scale figs would be awesome—especially a 12" Shredder and an Elite Guard! (BTW, what's that picture in your sig from? That's friggin' sweet.)

That's one heck of a list, Uki. I can dig it. Especially Leatherhead, Fugitoid (I'm hard-core into robots), Rat King, The Foot Mystic (I have a feeling they're gonna be awesome), and Exo-Suit Baxter. Consider those additions to my own list!

New series toys I don't care so much about. I'd say having a model for each foot division would be great though and Usagi and some Mirage characters for sure, but what I really want to see...

I wouldn't have Playmates do these probably. Maybe McFarland Toys could do it. That would be very interesting.

I'd also like a slash figure that actually looked like the cartoon one. But more so a slash from that episode when he came back to earth super intelligent. It would come with slash his turtleizer ray and the small turtle versions of Vern and Vernon. I would have also liked a 2 pack of that phantom of the pizza shop (his name escapes me right now) with a Wally wombat robot....

I think a new company like Art Asylum or Mezco would be great to make that line of comic figures.

I'd like to see a special 3 pack with Turtle Titan, Dr. Malignus, and the Silver Sentry.

It'd be hilarious if they made the 2 cops as figures, but highly unlikely.

hey how come in your list there's "all 4 pre-ninja turtles" what are they when they were really young? they had different weapons?? i don't even read the comic so meh

Don and Leo's weapons weren't all that different. Don was already using the bo, and Leo carried only a single ninja-to, as opposed to two. Raphael used a pair of tonfa, and Mike was training with the manriki gusari. Their bandanas also covered their heads, and their knee and elbow pads were a different style than the ones they wear now.

ok what is a tonfa and what is a manriki gusari. and how come in that old crappy "the next mutation" show their bandanas covered their faces and head and stuff

I can't speak for Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. That's a question that most likely would best be answered by Michael Dooney. Personally, I liked neither the show nor the costume designs.

It's funny that you list a "Battle Worn Leo", because I was thinking of something similar just recently. What if they put his mask on a swivel-base so that it could be turned sideways, as he did when he fought the FootTech Ninja?

well I said battle worn leo because there was one thread arguing about if a turtle titan toy should be made and some one said that they would have to make other super hero TMNT, actually no. the turtle titan ep. served as the mikey special since the real one is being saved for a christ-mas ep. (the christ-mas aliens)so the other 3 turtle toys would be from there specials. in "the king" don had the arm gun. in"turtle titan" mike was a the turtles titan". in "meet casey jones" raph was angry the majority of the ep. (but my toy idea is lame)and in "shredder strikes back" leo had the s**t kicked out of him there for being battle worn.so I didn't copy you :D

Don't think I can say much else new (was Mondo Gecko mentioned?) but I think a Raphael figure that can hold his sais like wolverine claws might be cool

I want a new Vernon.

I would like a baxter stockman figure in fly form. I would love to have a metalhead. Some new versions of the ninja turtle that look close to the originals.

they are making an "evil turtle-bot" from the new video game he looks like metal-head.
