Best/ worst episodes of 2012 show?
 

Sorry if this was posted already, but I couldn't find another topic.

So, what is your favorite and last favorite episode?

Best: A tie between Pulverizer Returns, Metalhead and Parasitica. Hmmm. I think I go for Pulverizer Returns.
Worst: Hmm. Turtle Temper.

Best -- The Gauntlet. Loved the throwbacks to the original Mirage Turtles Issue #1
Worst -- Karai's Vendetta. I know most of the fandom loved that episode but I just couldn't care for it!

best: the gauntlet
worst: parasitica. runner up would be turtle temper but at least it does have some character development in it.

Best: For me personally a tie between Never say Xever/I, Monster/New Girl in Town and Alien Agenda.

Worst: Hmm... a tie between Turtle Temper/Mousers Attack/The Pulverizer.

Best: The Gauntlet
Worst: Parasitica by far because of how long we have to wait! :cry:

Worst: Cockroach Terminator, Panic In The Sewers, Monkey Brains and Rise Of The Turtles were all bad to me.

Rise of the Turtles, the first episode of the show was bad to you?

There is technically no "worst" episodes, so far. Just some "meh" episodes.

Best - "Rise of the Turtles 1-2," "New Friend, Old Enemy," "Never Say Xever," "The Gauntlet," "Panic in the Sewers," "I Monster," "Enemy of My Enemy."

Worst - I have enjoyed every episode, except for "Pulverizer Returns." The first Pulverizer was better.

Otherwise, why are we looking for the worst episodes? We all thought "Turtle Temper" was good. Not great, but still fun. Why are we trying too hard to find episodes that we hate/or supposed to hate?

Best - Introducing Leatherhead
Worst - Anything with the Pulverizer.

With all due respect, why can't we look for the weaker episodes? It's an interesting way to read about the opinions within the fandom, and finding out if there are some episodes which are generally less liked than others.

worst- the episodes with the pulverizer in it.. esp the 1st episode where he showed up..

best- 1st leatherhead episode and gauntlet.

It was ok, I suppose, just not as strong as other episodes.

Metalhead, by far, was the absolute worst episode for me. I've watched every other episode at least a second time and enjoyed discussing it, but this one? Ugh, I just pretend it didn't happen. I can't say I'm all too crazy about New Girl in Town and Karai's Vendetta either, which is weird since I'm usually a pretty big fan of Karai. I'm just not totally digging the way Nick is handling her so far, way too much like a bratty child I guess. Cockroach Terminator was pretty lackluster as well (not that I hate it, it was just kinda boring).

But the better episodes outweigh the bad ones, so I'll have to think on those a bit more so I don't end up listing them all :D

Best: Never Say Xever
Worst: Parasitica

Best: Gauntlet, Baxter's Gambit, New Friend Old Enemy

Worst: TCRI and Cockroach Terminator

I forgot to mention - I enjoyed Metalhead a lot. Yeah, there were some things that I felt were stupid, but it's a kids show. Plus, it's that episode that basically stands on its own. That's probably why Nick likes to air this constantly.:tlol:

Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone is actually worried about the future direction for the show.

Best: The Gauntlet & TCRI
"Least Favorite": The 1st Stockman episode, Cockroach Terminator

Best: I think His Name is Baxter Stockmen, It Came From The Depths, I Monster, TCRI, The Gauntlet, Alien Agenda, Baxter's Gambit, Karai's Vendetta, Enemy Of My Enemy, Mousers Attack, New Girl In Town, Monkey Brains

Worst: Turtle Temper, The Pulverizer

Bottom tier: Turtle Temper, The Pulverizer

I quite like Turtle Temper, I love Splinter's retelling of his younger self's story, loosing his temper and had lost everything. Good life lesson tbh.

I'm curious why some doesn't like it. Is it because of the rude fat guy?

Best so far for me: The Gauntlet.

One I didn't care for: Metalhead.

Other than that, the others are fine.

Probably. He is quite a detestable guy. But he's supposed to be like that, much like Pulverizer is supposed to be annoying. That's what I keep telling myself every time I want to punch the screen. :D

Favourite episodes: The Pulverizer, The Alien Agenda, Parasitica, Never Say Xever.
Least favourite: Pulverizer Returns, Monkey Brains, Karai's Vendetta.

Although there's no one really bad episode (except Pulverizer Returns), there tends to be at least one solid moment or funny line that makes every dull moment or cliche forgiven.

Best: The Gauntlet
Trying my best not to be bias, because then I would have to say my favorite, which is... It Came From The Depths.

Worst: Cockroach Terminator
I don't know if it's the worst episode. It's really not that bad.. I made this decision simply because Raphael deserves a better episode.

Yes. In my honest opinion, TCRI sucked mostly for the fact that it seemed like nothing got accomplished while the turtles were there. It just seemed like they came into the place to rough it up and then steal like one piece of Kraang technology and then find out a huge revelation at the end of the episode. If it weren't for the ending, it would have felt like a filler episode. Heck, I felt Turtle Temper had more significance to the main plot simply because it helped Raph develop some character and it introduces a new human-turned-mutant character, and those are pretty rare already. And he's voiced by Lewis Black, which I thought was pretty hilarious.

best for me so far is the Gauntlet. must have watched it more than 20 times with my son...
least favorite is turtle temper...not that i don't like it but it's just not as great as the other eps.

Worst
Metalhead, Cockroach Terminator (btw, Cockroach Terminator is the only episode I have absolutely no desire to watch. It was so so so disgusting...ugh I hated that roach)

Best: "I, Monster", "Monkey Brains", sorry, I like Dr. Falco. :embarass:, "The Gauntlet", "TCRI" etc.

Worst? No. The episode that wasn't as good to me: "The Pulverizer"

I don't think it's fair to say which episode was the WORST, how about the Strongest and Weakest. Sure, the episodes haven't been consistently good, but even the weaker episdes aren't without their merits. That Being said:

Strongest: The Gauntlet: (for darkness and atmosphere) & Mousers Attack: (for fun and enjoyment value).

Weakest: Metalhead: (For the amount of plotholes) The Pulverizer: (pretty self explanitory)

Best: The Gauntlet. A roller coaster ride all ending with the fight with The Shredder. Enough said.

Worst: Cockroach Terminator. At least the lower tier episodes did progress the series. This episode was pure filler.

When we say best/worst, we're merely speaking in relative terms. This series has been one of the best, if not the best, TMNT stories ever made.

What plot holes are you talking about?

Least Favorite : turtle temper it had some good moments like raph saying :we're the teenage mutant ninja turtles and the beginning fight sequence with the kraang,but i just thought the episode was meh for me not worst but Meh. the show doesn't have any "worst episode" just meh or good or great episodes...well for me atleast.
