Now I have them ALL!!!
Woot! I picked up TMNT: Tournament Fighters for the Genesis (the game is just as a pain in the butt to beat as ever) today at GameStop. It looks like somebody unloaded their TMNT collection there because I saw Turtles III, IV, and Tournament Fighters for the SNES and NES (and Genesis but you already had it reserved) as well as a ton more rare games that I own. I almost thought someone had stolen my collection and sold it off.
Yeah so the only way I could have more TMNT games until the new ones come out would be to buy the arcade games. Which would be quite pricey and pretty much impossible, but having all the console and all the Gameboy TMNT games is more than enough for me though. Plenty of gaming left. Out of which I have completed 6 - TMNT II: The Arcade Game - TMNT IV: Turtles in Time - TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist - TMNT GB: The Fall of the Foot Clan - TMNT: Tournament Fighters NES Edition - TMNT: Tournament Fighters SNES Edition I've come close to completing - TMNT III: The Manhattan Project (got to second to last stage I think - and I can beat it using the level skip) - TMNT GB III: The Radical Rescue (got to Shredder's first form) - TMNT GB II: Return to the Sewer (got to the final boss, but died) I'll probably beat Tournament Fighters for the Genesis after some practice, but I doubt I'll ever beat TMNT I for the NES. It's freak'n impossible! I couldn't even beat it when I cheated using the rom, because the game crashes right before the last area - I just wanted to see the ending... is that too much to ask? I'm so happy :D |
Pfft, you could've saved a load of money and just downloaded emulator's and the ROMs...

This dude is gonna worship the new game when it comes out.
Hey tiptup...I gotta question for ya.. Who do always play as on the games? and which system(s) are yo gonna get the new game? I'm getting it for PS2 of course! |
TMNT 1 = Donatello and Leonardo... often Mike (Raph has no reach)
TMNT 2 = Michaelangelo (anyone except Raph) TMNT 3 = Michaelangelo and Raphael for bosses (I use Don and Leo as well, just not as much) TMNT 4 = Michaelangelo and Donatello (actually I play as them all sometimes) Hyperstone Hiest = Michaelangelo TMNT GB = Mike and Don (but I use the rest since it doesn't matter) TMNT GB II = Leo, Don, and Mike (Raph has no reach) TMNT GB III = Mike and Don the most but you HAVE to use them all to get anywhere Arcade Game = Michaelangelo (Leo when emulated because that's the controller port turtle) Turtles in Time Arcade = Michaelangelo (Leo ...) Tournament Fighters NES = All Four (best with Raph and Don) Tournament Fighters Genesis = All Four (best with Leo and Mike) Tournament Fighters SNES = All Four (best with Mike and Raph... incredibly good with Mike in comparrision to the rest) I'll probably buy the new game the day it comes out for GCN (if I have one) and GBA (for sure since I have 2). I love TMNT games! Teh r teh roxor (sorry I couldn't resist) Reznorite420 I do have ALL the roms. Even for the stuff on the commedore. I just like to have legit copies. I never paid more than 11 bucks on any of the console games and I only had to buy TMNT III for GB (which was about 12 bucks but I didn't care it's freak'n rare!). TMNT:TF on Genesis was 3.99, SNES 9.99, and I bought the NES one from my cousin's friend for 10 bucks because it was rare and I didn't want to rip him off. Hyperstone Hiest was 9.99 and TMNT III was 7.99 I believe. It was 11.99 last time I checked GameStop (as was TF for NES). So I got really good deals. Still the most mind blowing deal I ever got was all 3 Castlevania's, Mega Man 3, Battletoads, Metal Gear, Ninja Gaiden 2, Final Fantasy, and about 20 other NES games for FREE!!! |

It's not really a game... but a computer-paint program. I should try 'n find my copy... I've got it somewhere... |
I could download it, like I did with the TMNT arcade game, TMNT 1 for PC, and the Manhattan Missions, but I didn't really want it. Seems pointless, but I might download it sometime just for kicks.
|
for me.....I have defeated the following
TMNT 2 (NES) TMNT 3-Manhattan Project TMNT 4-Turtles in Time (easy, normal, and hard mode) GB 1 GB 2 The only game that I cannot beat is the original NES TMNT game. |
I can beat TMNT IV in less than a half hour on hard. It took me about an hour to beat The Hyperstone Heist on that difficulty (these are playing by myself BTW).

Or if my Turtle was a real one, I'd pick Benvenuto! :D |
i beat tmnt 1 for NES . it was tough though.
|
Way to go on getting all the games! And yeah it would be pretty costly to buy the arcade games. But I would like a arcade game of TMNT for my room.

I have sold all of my games. I kind of miss them.
|
yeh it would be awsome to have those in your room but just think how much youd have to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Do you have the *Japanese only* TMNT Genesis game? It's called Return of the Shredder & it seems to be very rare...until then you don't got them all...
|
Is there a difference? Because if there isn't a worth while difference then I don't care. I also don't have the clones of TMNT 1 and TMNT 2 because I feel no need to have them. I believe what you speak of is a clone of TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist (which I do have).
Furthermore I don't know ANYONE who has a Japanese Genesis nor do I have one myself. I do believe I have the ROM of that game somewhere though. |
Well, I really do not know if it is a totally other game than Hyperstone Heist. But I saw it, the package is totally different & the pics on the back of the game show similiar graphics to Hyperstone Heist, but with completely other backgrounds...I really wouldn't know. All I know is that it sold for $79 on Ebay a month ago or so.
|
It is the same game, but was released under diffrent name in in Japan.
|
Thought so Karpo, thanks for clearing that up.
