AASHKFGDSKJSDGH THIS IS EXCITING AS HELL.

The most recent issue of TV guide had this piece on SDCC featuring Corey Feldman (Sorry my scanner isn't hooked up!)-

He looks pretty damn dope! Being that you can't tell too well from my lower-res photos of the magazine, he has sort of Mouser-like teeth, it seems.

If someone had to be right about Spike, I'm glad it wasn't miru and his Venus ish.

I like that he's Slash...kinda sucks we loose spike for it though... :( Also....that head. So tiny.

I have to admire how this show gives expanded, interesting, and at times, unexpected origins for many classic characters, but I'm not sure if this version of Slash sounds so good...or is that, so bad? If they make Slash, and he's an ally to the other turtles rather than an enemy, then what if he becomes the permanent fifth member of the team? I doubt I'd like that.

All I can say is....disappoint.

My only problem is that they call him 'Slash'. He should've just kept on being Spike because now they're messing with an already established character! Slash should be the villain not a good guy...

That head is pissing me off.

Slash was an "anti-hero" in the Archie books.

Yeah, I'unno, I kinda like the idea but the very first thing I thought was "Why's his head so tiny?"

I'm sure they'll eventually sell me on it, but they really shouldn't have to. I guess they *really* wanted him to look different from the other Turtles. I "get" it, I just don't fully support it. Ah well.

Excellent!! Now only Bebop Rocksteady and Hun left that have not been confirmed for Nick cartoon!! :D:D

Actually, there's more TMNT characters than those 'last' 3 you mentioned.

On topic, Slash looks dope! The head doesn't bug me as much as it does others. Can't wait for season 2!

Wait. *looks at the image again* Where the heck are they??! I have a sudden idea of where. That black thing that looks like a mouth could be his mask. You can almost see like really tiny eyes. That or I'm losing it. :trazz:

You're not losing it; it's just a really clunky design overall.

Can't wait to hear his and Casey's voice next week (SDCC is then, right)

Not completely sold on the idea of Slash being a fifth hero (LOL see what I did there?) Turtle.

His design looks..... OK.. not great, but since he is no longer a bad guy.. I guess its an OK design.

I do like the idea of Feldman voicing him, I am also open to the notion that I may end up liking the character... fingers crossed.

I will have to take him in army. Chris and xever are stupid and all of my plans have failed so far because of them. But if i have 3 mutants instead of 2 things will get better.

And it's interesting to get Feldman back on working in the TMNT stories.

I'm intrigued to hear what he'll sound like or if he'll sound anything like Donnie.

Seems like a lot of the villians from the original run are becoming allies... Slash, Metalhead (unless I'm mistaken, I thought he was a villian) and Leatherhead.

I like this change. At least the allies will be more interesting this time around, unlike 2K3 which were....completely waisted. (Aside from Leatherhead.) :ohwell:

Interesting, I wasn't expecting this but I like the idea. For a moment I thought Raph was going to lose his pet and gain an enemy but a friend? Cool.

Shall be interesting to see how this all turns out.

Glad we won't have the angst of Raphael losing his pet at least.

Slash is a good guy in the Archie comics, where he started out.
Metalhead became Donny's robot maid by the end of his episode.
Leatherhead was a good guy in the Mirage comics, where he started out.

I will echo the sentiments about his head. I'm guessing that it was made that way to stress his physical strength and make it very clear he's mentally simple (like OT Slash). Either way, it would look better with a more traditional look IMO. Regardless of that, the rest of him looks amazing.

Well that is interesting but since it was confirmed they he wasn't doing the voice to Casey, I am not surprised.

I said that Spike would turn into Slash from DAY ONE! FINALLY I WAS RIGHT. And people thought I wouldn't be right.

Also you can see his eyes on his black bandana. They're really small but you can spot two black dots in the black bandana line, which are his eyes.

Many people thought Spike would mutate to Slash in the first place. Idiot.

No one else says Kraang Prime is Krang, but you do. Big difference.

You're joking, right? Most people argued against Spike becoming Slash. I was the one who said from the start that if Slash is in this show, it would probably be Spike.

Yeah, of course. Hence why I saw quite a few people saying that Spike will become Slash :roll:

i was thinking the same thing....i agree with people his head is tiny but i can not wait to see him in action

I really dislike the idea of him becoming a 5th turtle. He better not be in every episode, although since he lives in the lair I don't know where he could go.

As Peter Laird would say, adding a 5th turtle to the group is a horrible bankrupt idea. The only reason Slash worked in past versions is because he was a rogue that only showed up every so often.

Oh god, I hope the creators know what they're doing, otherwise it's the Venus De Milo situation all over again.

He'll be the fifth for a handful of eps, long enough for an arc, then probably switch sides...

...Who knows? Maybe Karai will befriend him.

Says 2 episodes in the description (so far, to be recorded). Season 2 has to have had recorded more than 2 episodes.

I'm thinking something like this too. He's a goodguy for his first few appearances and then goes rogue.

Would make a great character arc for Raphael too.
