Noteable New things in the trailer
1- Butt Cannon Mutant

The thing with the Butt Cannons, You can see a Krang on top of its body.

Season 2 is looking cool...Master Splinter seems to be in on the action some more. The trailer didn't show too much, but enough to get me excited! Is that Mikey's bedroom at the end?

Not sure, it's a part of the lair that we haven't seen, though. Or it's just a different angle of the main room.

Same here. My guess as to why we didn't see them in the first season is that the budget wasn't high enough to have that many locations animated, but now with Season 2 (and a bigger budget, as the show was pretty much an instant success) we'll see many more locations, most likely including the rest of the bedrooms.

Hopefully all are shown during the squirrel/alien episode. It seems to take place in the lair.

Since I know everybody on this forum will be keen to hear what Tumblr has to say, I thought I would share the main theories on the origins of the underpants to date.

1) They're Rad Brad's.
2) They're Shredders and Mikey will remove them in tonight's finale.
3) Some unpleasant theories to do with menstrual cycles.

Yeah I can already see the April+Casey relationship getting on my nerves, I was hoping she wouldn't like him, at least for a season.

I don't understand why people are surprised that April will fall for Casey. I'm glad to see them respecting the source material with that relationship.

Foot in the lair... hopefully that's the first episode. I can't see Shredder dawdling now that he knows where Splinter and the turtles hide out.

I've said this before and I'll say it again....the Foot better be the main villains of Season 2! As much as I love (to hate) the Kraang, we've had enough of them. It does seem like the Kraang will be taking a back seat next season...so that's a good sign. I like the Kraang and the foot, so I wish they would really just make them join up already. I mean, they have an alliance, but aren't EXACTLY working together. Like, Shredder and the Foot need to move in to that awesome new Technodrome :D

Best part of that trailer was seeing the Turtles fighting the Foot Clan in the lair. I wondered why the Foot / Shredder didn't attack Splinter in the lair during the finale.

Loved the trailer for season 2. Looks like there's going to be more action this time around and some exciting plots, too. Yeah, why does Mikey need underwear? Maybe he just found it somewhere and decided to take it home, but we'll find out in season 2. Overall, I'm very excited for the next season. Bring it on!

The stain looked more orange than red on my work monitor, which suggests...well...something one typically associates with teenage boys.
