Best "Filler" Mutant?
What is the best filler mutant? Regardless of how good the episode was , I'm talking about the mutant in general.
My favorite has to be Snakeweed, for me he was the most interesting out of all them and his design is great. What's yours? The choices are 1- Snakeweed 2- Spider-Bites 3- Monkey Brains 4- Pigeon Pete 5- Justin 6- Cockroach Terminator |

I'd say either Snakeweed or Justin, even though he only appeared for a short time.

Well clearly my favourite is Newtralizer (did you guess), but from those options, definitely pre-skin shedding Cockroach Terminator. He went from badass to gross.

Aside from Dogpound/Fishface, I'd say Snakeweed is the only other mutant I like.
The rest just feel generic to sell toys or fill up time for an episode. I'd much rather Nick bring back old mutants from the past, like they're doing with Slash in Season 2, then create these new generic characters. Much rather see Rahzar/Tokka return or Mondo Gecko. |

I thought this thread was gonna be for best filler EPISODE to which I was gonna say Parasitica and now I'm all indecisive and stuff. Dang me! Well I guess I would have to say Pigeon Pete because he's in the Gauntlet which is an awesome episode.

Newtralizer is good but he seems like he's going to play a much more important role than, "filler mutant," so he shouldn't be on this list. From the sounds of things he'll be in a bigger role in Season 2.
The other mutants are low-tier characters for a filler ep and to sell toys. If I were to rank the mutants in this show in terms of importance: 1. Dogpound/Fishface (work for Shredder, have the most appearances) 2. Leatherhead (classic character) 3. Snakeweed (two episodes, also got a Nick comic) 4. Newtralizer 5. ....everyone else I don't know where to place Mutagen Man yet, we'll have to wait till next season. Of course if you count Baxter who will become a fly or Rat King, then place them alongside Leatherhead in rank 2. |
