Who wants Xever and Bradford to be humans again

I pefer them to be humans than mutants

CyberCubed 08-15-2013 10:16 AM

Only Bradford. Maybe they can give him a cloaking device to make him look human.

TurtleTitan97 08-15-2013 10:17 AM

They're fine the way they are now.

Why not xever

Andrew NDB 08-15-2013 10:28 AM

Aside from being able to breathe in water Xever really got the rough end of the stick. Though I could see how Bradford would be pretty pissed... he's got that disproportionately gimp arm, and with those fists, how can he even go to the bathroom, or...

I want Bradford to be human again. He was more interesting as a celebrity martial artist while having to hide the fact that he works for the Shredder.

Ha, yeah bradford would't be spanking the monkey anytime soon but he is a dog, his member is so small it goes inside him when he stands up

I agree I love their new forms.

Irishmile 08-15-2013 10:46 AM

I did think they were interesting as humans but I like them as newly made mutants... Maybe they could do an episode where they randomly mutate back at the worst possible times for comedic purposes... But I wouldn't want them to remain that way.

Bry 08-15-2013 10:53 AM

The character I most want to revert to their human form hasn't even mutated yet. But maybe that's a discussion for another time. ;)

I liked how the tragic element of a quick-footed guy like Xever losing his legs wasn't overstated - the point was made, but didn't beat the viewer over the head with it like many other kids' cartoons would. The show's writing team has a good touch with that sort of thing, IMO.

How do we know it goes inside? Maybe it still hangs out if a human gets mutated, as otherwise why would Bradford still be wearing clothes on his bottom half? Xever likely doesn't have to wear anything at all because he utterly lost his.

Tazi 08-15-2013 11:09 AM

I'd prefer "Chuck Norris dressed as Mirage Shredder" over "Funny looking dog with asymmetric arms" anytime.
Same about Xever's human form. Also, the existence of Fishface kinda gives us no hope for ever seeing Armaggon in this version of TMNT.

Spike? Baxter?

But yeah I think the mutations are ok really. However, I do think they cut a potentially awesome character by losing the celebrity martial artist. There was a lot that could have been done with him in relation to Shredder's plans.. competition with Karai etc.

Why? Is there some rule saying there can't be two water based villains?

Tazi 08-15-2013 11:54 AM

Turtles are also water based... but both Armaggon and Fishface are basically both fish-mutants. And they use robotics to enhance their fighting skills: Fishface has those Kraang legs, and Armaggon had that exoskeleton thing.
I think they usually go with more diverse character designs (not counting the turtles, but they even made them more different from each other, then they usually are), so that's definitely decrease the chance for including Armaggon.
Of course, I can be wrong.

MisterMiracle 08-15-2013 12:26 PM

I liked both of them waaaaay more as Xever and Bradford as opposed to Fish Face and Dogpound.

pingclang 08-15-2013 12:59 PM

I liked them much better as humans. I love the idea of some humans other than Shredder,Karai amd the Purple Dragons trying to take the Turtles down. Mutants are cool and I love seeing the Turtles fighting them, but it would be sweet to mix it up and have some of Shredder`s henchmen be human, especially if the rumors about Bebop and Rocksteady ever come true.

Baxter. The design we saw of him for season two looks great, but I prefer him as a crazed human inventor to anything else. I feel like the Turtles need some human enemies (beyond the Shredder, that is) and Baxter fits that role nicely. The robots are enough of a "hook" already without the need to mutate him as well.

But I will stay open-minded. ;)

DarkLightDragon 08-15-2013 01:18 PM

No thanks. That would pretty much be giving them a courteous free pass for what was well-deserved karma for their mistake of releasing the mutagen that changed them to begin with. Besides, I don't think saying "I think they looked better as humans!' doesn't count as a valid reason to have them cured anyway.

snake 08-15-2013 02:30 PM

Why? Their fine the way they are now.

I agree. Especially if Bebop and Rocksteady ever come along. Maybe they end up 'replacing' Xever and Bradford, although I can see Xever and Bradford wanting revenge for that. Two mutant duos trying to usurp the other, to (re)gain their position as Shredder's main henchmen. That would be an interesting interbaddie fight.

BubblyShell22 08-15-2013 04:17 PM

I like them as they are now, so there's no need to change them back. Besides, they brought it on themselves when they released the mutagen, so they got what they deserved.

What monkey, and why does he need to be spanked?

That was my thought. Or Bebop and Rocksteady supplement Xever and Dogpound... making it an even 4 vs. 4 every time they fight the Turtles.

Bradford does. Poor Xever on the other hand was at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

The show has at least two-five more seasons left, you never know.

I agree, that would be a lot of fun to watch IF Bebop and Rocksteady show which as stated, isn't likely. I would still like to see Xever and Bradford as humans again though, there are plenty of mutants, they were cool enough before.

Slade 08-15-2013 09:32 PM

I actually wish they would change Bradford back into a human. I thought he was more bad ass that way. Xever seems more bad ass as Fishface though, to me at least.

And you know never know that they won't bring them back. That classic Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang team will never return unless it's a 80's crossover or something of the sort.

isn't there gonna be? or is that just the 80's turtles?

I would kinda hope they'd bring their villains with them... Especially since the guys voicing Leo and Don also voiced Bebop and Rocksteady.

But everyone here is expecting some kind of updated versions of them.. and I really doubt it. All the news is about Slashes and Ice Cream Kitties. Dogpound and Fishface already took their roles. We don't need em.

Captain PunchYouHard 08-15-2013 10:36 PM

Not me. If there's anything out there funnier than a giant Brazilian fish with cybernetic legs and a comically exaggerated underbite who goes around calling other people freaks, I have no idea what it could be.

Ravenxl7 08-15-2013 10:58 PM

I think they're vastly more interesting now that they've been mutated. As humans they were just a Chuck Norris rip-off and black street thug #3, with nothing really special about either one. Now as Dogpound and Fishface they're actually interesting villains.

Now, what I do kind of want to see is Splinter and the Turtles become human, on a temporary basis that is. Would be interesting to see how the Turtles would handle becoming human, and how Splinter would react to having his humanity returned to him.

LeotheLateBloomer 08-15-2013 11:04 PM

I want them to return back to humans because I found them more interesting as human beings. This show is already getting enough mutants which I am not looking forward to.

Yeah, I remember an episode from OT that had Mikey turn into a human, but for some weird reason he couldnt do any ninja moves as a human, which makes no sense at all... I agree, maybe an episode where they ALL turn human instead... including Splinter and then they could actually still fight. Would be pretty cool to see why they want to change back. Splinter would want to stay human though I think and ultimately and reluctantly accept his fate as a rat.

I vaguely remember the Mikey episode, but I vividly remember one where Splinter became human again. As for the reason why they would turn back...I would probably have Splinter turned back against his will, or accidentally somehow, and then have the Turtles choose to become their former selves to not leave their master behind. That or their being human would be a temporary thing from the get-go.

Are you kidding me? They're, like, the only thing from the OT that hasn't shown up at this point. Hell, we even know Baxter is about to mutate into a fly. If we were in Vegas, them showing up at some point in some form would literally be the best odds in the house.

I dunno, man. I want it to happen and I think it will, eventually, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. I also made my original post before reading on another thread that Ciro was asked about them and responded positively, so yeah, it may happen.

DonatelloNinja82 08-16-2013 10:24 PM

They are fine to me.
