Agreed! What on earth was going through their tiny little minds?! Not cool.

Apologies for the double post, but bit more info here ^. Still a stupid thing to do but sounds like they were angry because of missing out on 'disturbance fees' paid to local business owners.

Redeemer 10-17-2013 10:18 AM

sucks for those guys, but if they got cheated out of money that sucks, I feel even worse for the cops getting injured.

Walkabout 10-18-2013 03:02 AM

Disgruntled Transformers/TMNT fans?

They weren't yelling "WHITEWASHER!!!" while hitting him, were they?

HeroTurtlesFan 10-18-2013 08:19 AM

According to a Michael Bay-penned post (repeated on tfw2005) the troublemakers WERE paid something, but wanted more than the standard.

CyberCubed 10-18-2013 08:48 AM

Sad to see this happen, but that's what karma gets you.

Surprised Bay didn't go to the hospital or leave that third world country.

Toby Barrett 10-18-2013 08:53 AM

Cyber, just shut the hell up.

What a post.

shreddinghead 11-10-2013 11:48 AM

There are some definite jojos out there. And Cubed, you really are obsessed with this new movie to the point of disfunction.

Shark_Blade 11-10-2013 12:44 PM

Hope he'll recover quickly. I'm glad they caught the criminals.

electric_sheep 11-10-2013 01:04 PM

No one deserves being attacked. If you think he deserves it, then you are no better than his attackers.

this is a SMALL price to pay for hiring megan fox as April

Leo656 11-10-2013 02:41 PM

I'm sorry, but if you think someone deserves to be physically assaulted because of the movies they make, you're either someone who takes movies way too seriously, someone who is between the age of 10 and 17, or both.

On the other hand, most people are pretty lousy, and DO deserve to get their ass kicked for some reason or other. But the fact they make mostly sh*tty movies isn't a very good reason. I'm sure Bay's no saint, and if, for example, he keyed someone's car, or called his assailant a "goofy, slope-eyed Ch*nk", he'd deserve it, sure. I'm sure Michael Bay The Person has done lots of things that would merit assault. We all have.

But not for making mediocre movies. Come on, guy.

i said those movies just to be an asshole, but i really hate him because he is a douche...

Leofan26 11-10-2013 03:51 PM

Well, I know those Transformers fans hated the films a lot but he doesn't deserve to be attacked like that :-?

I do however hope he does the turtles justice.

Tazi 11-10-2013 03:58 PM

Well, he doesn't deserved being attacked... What he deserves is the removal of him from the movie industry, permanently.

Permanently? You mean like death?

No, he wants him removed from the movie industry. Meaning...not making any more movies. How did you get "death" out of that?

Because they watch too many movies and in the movies "permanently" means death. Or at least in the mobster movies. :tlol: And then it's often followed by laughter or eating in a back room of a mob-owned restaurant. But I agree with Leo, no one deserves to be assaulted for making movies you disapprove of.

BabyTurtles 11-11-2013 12:24 AM

that wasn't cool at all....hope everyone is doing okay.

also...guys don't even joke about Bay deserving to be attacked....that is just downright evil.

First of all: karma?! the hell are you talking about?!

Second: Hong Kong is not a country, it's a city. And it certainly isn't "third world".

Third: "Third world" is an outdated term. Get in with the times.

lango7 11-11-2013 12:19 PM

Any guess what 80's treasure Bay will ruin next? I'm pulling for Turbo Teen.

Karma in Indian religions is the concept of "action" or "deed", understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect (i.e., the cycle called saṃsāra). Originating in ancient India, Karma is part of Hindu, Jain, Buddhist and Sikh philosophies

It's fun copying from wikipedia

I know what karma is. What I don't understand is what he meant by that. What karma? Karma for "ruining" a TMNT movie? Really?!

Bob 11-11-2013 03:49 PM

Why are people trying to reason with Cube? Honestly? He's clearly an incredibly simple-minded nerd who has never ventured outside his front door. At least that's how he comes across. Look at his sig. Says it all.

Yes Dirty Blond, it was the Japanese that ruined Pearl harbor, and not Michael Bay.:D

As a side note, I don't think anyone here really wants anything terribly bad to happen to Michael Bay. A lot of us are just annoyed by him, and like to joke...
