Codes for New game on new figs
 

Hey everybody! Has anyone seen the new wave II and III figs with the codes for the xbox/ps2/GCN on the inserts? Weird! I wonder what sort of special features you can unlock with these. Anyone heard anything about this?

I haven't seen any of the new figs yet, so... but strange. The game isn't even coming out for a while.

It's an intersting product tie-in move, to say the least.

I thought the codes were only on the extreme sports turtles.

Nope, I got a April and she had the code too. And the Casey and Hun figs down here have them too.

so they will sell better.

Out if curiosity, what are the codes? Not necessarly the buttons to press, but what they do.

Yah, I saw these as well. I like how Playmates is shipping the sports figures as well as the regular ones so kids who missed out at first have a chance to get the regulars with a little bonus.

so if the codes are going to be in all of the action figure packages from hence forth, that would creat a difinitive way of telling when the figure was made

I'm not sure what the other codes do, but the X-treme sports TMNT each come with a code that supposedly gives that character a better weapon in the Story Mode.

What does that mean? Your guess is as good as mine.

My guess is that each letter represents a symbol.
R= raph
L= leo
M= mike
D= don
S= shredder
I think its shredder mainly because he is a playable charecter in the vs. mode.

I didnt see a "s" on my codes w/ the xtreme figs. I think he made "s" stand for symbol or something. That symbol thing is the "konami logo" thingy. I think what they mean by a better weapon in story mode is, that it will be more powerful and do more damage.

That's supposed to be the Konami symbol? Could be, I haven't paid much attention to video games in ages. Personally I think it looks more like the Screw Attack icon from Metroid. You are probably correct about the codes just causing the weapons to do more damage. But I wonder if that means none weapons attacks are unaffected? (I mean, they must be able to kick or something else.)

I have many, many codes at the moment. All of the figures currently being shipped out have codes included with them. Here is what I have:

Are the Hun, April, and Casey codes the same? Cause my April didnt come with a code.

The Hun, April, and Casey codes are the same.

Unless each turtle gets to use their Extreme Sport Vehicle as their weapon

I wish...but unfortunately Konami informed us that the PC/Gamecube/X-Box/Playstion version will not have any vehicles.

So are all the codes the same?

I mean, the ones that do the same things, or will every code be different even though it does the same thing?

One of em' is for Donatello to have a super weapon, read that somewhere.
