How will you celebrate the Turtle's 30th Anniversary next year?

As we are all aware, the TMNT franchise Turns 30 next year. It is a important event for a TMNT fan.

How will you celebrate it?

CyberCubed 11-15-2013 08:40 AM

I will marathon 193 episodes of the original toon, 156 episodes of the 4kids series, all the episodes of the Nick show that have aired so far, all 4 movies and Turtles Forever.

Then I will re-read over 200+ Mirage comics, all 100+ Archie comics, and all the IDW issues released so far.

Then I will sit there in fear of the new movie that comes out next year and hope it doesn't send the franchise to hell.

madyankees 11-15-2013 09:12 AM

By celebrating my 30th birthday too...and probably spending too much money on 30th anniversary tmnt collectibles

Mzx10484 11-15-2013 09:44 AM

I will buy a set of the Classic Collection - the 4 Turtles missing in my collection... 30th anniversary collectibles ? Looking forward to !!

Andrew NDB 11-15-2013 10:01 AM

By putting out "Odyssey," the "last story" of the Mirage TMNT.

BabyTurtles 11-15-2013 11:32 AM

by drawing a 30th tmnt anniversary picture....? :D

IDK....I might just eat alot of pizza *_*

pingclang 11-15-2013 12:10 PM

Probably gonna buy everything in sight...sigh.

Plasticplayhouse 11-15-2013 01:19 PM

Maybe I'll finally get around to making a Peter Laird style turtle.

Powder 11-15-2013 01:26 PM

I got my TMNT tattoo for the 25th anniversary, and I've been longing for another... So perhaps I'll finally save up for that! I'm sure I'll do some sort of fan art project, maybe a little mixtape of TMNT themed music, whatever~

Lord Nightwalker 11-15-2013 01:32 PM

Maybe I will finally get around to installing my turtle menuki on one of my katana. Honestly, I would like to do something to commemorate it, but I am undecided.

DVD 11-15-2013 02:32 PM

Probably do what I'm going to do for the Doctor Who 50th. For that, I'll watch the first story, starting at 5.15 uk time, and eat a bunch of jelly babies.
For TMNT, I'll order pizza ( like I don't do that at least twice a week- Papa John has half price Mondays!!) and watch the original 5 episodes of the OT.

Blossombrooks 11-15-2013 03:06 PM

Yup, tmnt marathon and some fan art for sure. Prob be on the lookout for commemorative merchandise too, it's a great excuse to add to the collection ;)

raph27 11-15-2013 03:38 PM

Buy the movie 1 CC turtles, marathon the four films, buy as much of the OT as I can and watch the whole show.
Oh, and buy the five Ultimate Collection books and read all of them.

BubblyShell22 11-15-2013 03:44 PM

I might do a fan fic to commemorate it if I can think of something. Probably watch something related to it like the Nick show or something.

TheSkeletonMan939 11-15-2013 04:07 PM

I will be amazed that it'll have been five whole years since Turtles Forever.

The Boston Ninja Turtle 11-15-2013 06:19 PM

probably mention it on fb..unless i am invited to some TMNT event do to my costume..maybe watch the first 3 movies

Master Splinter 11-15-2013 07:06 PM

Receive my copy of "Odyssey," the "last story" of the Mirage TMNT.

Jester 11-15-2013 07:14 PM

Get the band (ok...Winters and Stephan) back together for a commentary...of the 1st movie...maybe.

Powder 11-15-2013 08:40 PM

You gotta let me get in on one of those sometime, man. :)

Guitar_Raph 11-15-2013 09:38 PM

Probably watch my dvd collection of Next Mutation, Comin Out of Their Shells/Gettin Down In Your Town on YouTube. Plus seeing the new TMNT movie for 2014.

Something similar to this I expect, although I'm working my way through OT as we speak so should be done soon.

A re-read of Mirage and new marathon of 2k3 is overdue for me.

Green Machine 11-16-2013 04:19 PM

I hope to save up and buy myself a Mirage #1 First Print.

The only Mikey pizza I tried was sausage and banana. Lemmie tell you, that's an amazing combo.

Amazingly good or amazingly bad? You have peaked my curiosity? Did you put banana slices on it before or after it cooking?

Powder 11-16-2013 07:11 PM

Amazingly good, in my opinion. I had gotten a nice NY pizza with sausage from a local joint and when I brought it home I cut up a banana and put the slices on top as is at room temp. I feel like the sweet soft bananas offer a complimentary contrast to the heavily textured bite of the sausage. :trazz:

Well I love pineapple on pizza, so why not bananas! I'm gonna give this a shot.

Slime State Alumni 11-16-2013 07:27 PM

I tried banana on pizza once. It took me years to be able to eat bananas again without gagging.

A friend and I had pepperoni jelly bean maple syrup (Nick show, Invasion of the Squirrelanoids) it was WAY too sweet for me. Want to try sardine shrimp (Karai's Vendetta)

find it funny how the nick show pizza combo taste somewhat better than what james rolfe did with the fred wolf pizza combo.

Jephael 11-17-2013 03:41 PM

I kinda want to read through the entire Archie series run over the winter, then maybe in the spring I'll watch the 4Kids series. I already marathon-ed the Fred Wolf series last year, though I may go back and watch some of my favorite episodes.
