Worst redesign of a major TMNT character from a past incarnation?

None. I like all of the redesigns thus far. You also forgot to put April in there as she's a kid now, too, but whatever.

I don't actually hate any of them. They are all good in their own ways.

Well her design isn't that much different than past incarnations aside from being younger.

The characters on the poll were the most widely different than their usual appearances. Same reason I didn't list Mutagen Man.

If Kirby Bat counts as Wingnut, I'd go with him. I just think he's kind of goofy-looking and don't care for his overall design. I like all the ones on the list though. :)

So far, I've had no problem with any of the redesigns.

If the Kirby Bat is, in fact, supposed to be Wingnut then I would go with that one.

I really kind of like all the redesigns. Even Badger!Splinter has grown on me.

I took one look at Karai's design for the first time and my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe how horrible it was when I first saw it. However, it grew on me. Casey, however, has the most ridiculous design. Ever.

Every other design you mentioned I was actually pretty OK with. To be honest, I actually liked some of these designs more than the original ones (i.e: Shredder, Technodrome).

I also fourth for a Wingnut choice.

Casey. Just...ugh. It'll get better for me when he puts the mask on (I actually really like the new mask.) cause actually I don't mind it EXCEPT THE FUGLY FACE.

Not a fan of Karai's blonde undercut or whatever that's called, but otherwise I love all of the new designs.

If I had to pick one out of the options you listed, I'd go with the Technodrome. Not because I hate the redesign, I just love the original version.

Yeah I don't get why they even called it the Technodrome. It looks like any generic alien spaceship.

I'll go with Technodrome too, it doesn't have that wonderment and bewilderment quality the OT version had.

But everything else is just perfect so far.

their needs to be an "other" option, cause i like all of those. maybe not karai at first, or casey, but i got over those real quick and now are 2 of my favorite

I count April as a redesign. She is her own character. She does not like like the 80's or 2K3 April only younger, she is her own new design. But I got used to it by now.

I'm going with the Technodrome; not because it's terrible, but just because I don't really think the others are bad at all. Also, it's only the interior of the new Technodrome that I think is lame.

Out of the choices here I would say the Technodrome. I was weary about Karai's design at first but its grown on me now. I like Casey's design by itself, not comparing it to the other designs but I do like it and think its a good redesign. The Technodrome's look however, just hasn't grown on me yet

I still think Karai is fuglier than words can describe. It's a shame since when her design was first released I was ready to give her a chance and I tried to ignore all the naysayers, after all, she could have looked a lot better in motion. Turns out I was wrong. There is absolutely nothing the least bit appealing about her face or her hair and her armor leaves a bit to be desired as well. I really don't care if she has short hair (2k7 Karai had short hair and she was very pretty), or even if they wanted to add in that weird yellow bit to spice her up, but the design they went for her...those sideburns, her bangs...totally missed the mark. When I imagine Karai I always picture an extremely beautiful woman-not a girl next door, not a plain jane, not an 'ugly pretty' type of girl, but straight up, stereotypically beautiful. And this design is just hideous.

Splinter is weird for me. Actual design wise I think he looks rather nice (except for his creepy human hands)...he just doesn't feel like Splinter. Still, since his basic design is pretty appealing, then my vote goes to Karai.

When i first saw the thread I didn't notice the Nick tag so I was gonna say, "Red Sky Turtles and April" but well....I'mma still do it.

End of Season 3 I think. But then I don't want Shredder to be dead, it'll be dull like any other tmnt universe without a Shredder. :ohwell:

Karai looked really pretty in that episode....or the animation just got better :D

I am going to say Karai, still cant get use to her redesign.

There are a few designs I don't love, (and a few I don't mind), but the Rat King still looks like a zombie from Phantom of the Opera.

I'm fine with pretty much all of the redesigns. But one thing that does bother me is the size of Metal Head. I would have preferred him to be the same size as one of the Turtles, But it's not really not that big of deal.

I like all of those mentioned.

Oooh yeah. That I want to see. They could borrow from City at War and have factions of the Foot split off, not wanting to follow under her rule.

Aw, man. That's what I like about Metalhead the most. I was actually disappointed when the toy wasn't mini-sized. :D

I disagree. It took me awhile but now I love Karai's design. Now that she's younger, her crazy make up and ridiculous bowl cut actually work because they show how intimidating she can be. Like Shark Blade said, she looked effing majestic on Shredder's throne in the last episode. Classically pretty is boring.

I'm still pretty "meh" on Karai's design as well.

and Shredder's is just so bad it's funny.

I didn't say she had to look interesting, her character and personality should more than make up for that (I think I even described her as "stereotypically beautiful"...I'm not looking for uniqueness in design when it comes to Karai). And as hilarious as the previous Lion King gif was, I don't think I should have to look hard in order to find beauty in Karai's design. It's not just her clothes and make-up, her actual facial dimensions just aren't very appealing either. While I do appreciate that her eyes are smaller and not as freakishly large as April's, it's not enough to make me think-Wow, now THAT'S a beautiful girl. Personally, I love the design of Casey, so I know the animators of this show KNOW how to create an actual human looking person, Karai just isn't it. For me anyway.

Traag, because I was thinking about it yesterday and he's more of a monster than a Rock Warrior. Plus I have always wanted to have an army of Rock Warrior toys and if he were smaller he could have done nicely

I voted for the Technodrome (underwhelming, but I don't hate it), but my real answer is Wingnut. Everything else is really pretty cool.

I don't mind the look of Karai, but why are they sitting in the dark? Her first order of business should be getting someone to switch on a light.

I don't know what to say except...the phantom seems like a flasher. With a mummy, you know you're going to get a strip tease at some point.

In my opinion, I don't really like Casey Jones's design. He looks like a mixture of a goth, a punk, and a seven year old. He could really use a better design.
I also don't like Fishface's design. His body looks uneven and his head is too huge.
